  • good song ozzy

  • damn...why all the '82 videos are with jake, and not randy?

  • god bless randy rhoads. he added a great sound to the music and was easily the best guitarist ever. rest in peace randy we love ya

  • He sings so beautifully.

  • WOW!!!! OZZY had such an amazing voice live. It's not an easy song to sing with strength. Try it.

  • my8 month old is singing along :))

  • for dawn marie

  • You will always be the best Ozzy!! I would come see you no matter what! ;) :D xoxoxo

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!... AND ME TOO SAY GOODBYE TO ROMANCE! =/

  • God how could he even sing those lyrics with Randy so recently gone? Show must go on? Should of wrote all new stuff. I'm sorry people it just sucks

  • @Macdeth1717 That was the perfect time to sing it. He's dedicated this song to Randy forever now and he still does it live. If you've ever seen Ozzy in concert his entire demeanor changes and a sadness comes over him when he performs this tribute to the great Randy Rhoads.

  • @80sjamming Wasn't "Goodbye To Romance" the first song Randy and Ozzy wrote together? I wouldn't be surprised if that would be why he acts a bit differently with this particular song live.

  • @evh5150hawaii Yes it was in fact the first song they wrote together. I believe Ozzy was humming the vocal melody and Randy came up with the chord progression for it there. Bob Daisley wrote most of the lyrics later on.

  • The guy was absolutely amazing when in his prime

  • good night...

  • good night ...

  • :'D R.I.P Randy Rhoads

  • His voice is just amazing

  • Why does this only play the first 48 seconds before pausing?!! Bullcrap!!!!

  • For those 10 people that disliked this video I say fuck you!!!!!!!

  • NOSSA Q LEGAL ISSO FOI EM 82

  • i wanna cry now. i love this song,,

  • where can i listen to randy playing this live? this solo is nothing like randy's :(

  • This song could be name of my life :(

  • Oh what an amazing time in my life. Good times getting stoned and just jamming!!!

  • Hey Godd.!! If we give u Justin Bieber,Rihana,Lady Gaga and ALL the other crapy nowdays "singers" can u give us back Randy Rhoad,Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson and ALL the other Rock-Metal-Pop LEGENDS?

  • @johnakias1994

you had to go and ruin it by throwing a pedophile in there :(

  • @johnakias1994 He's like "F**K NO! What do I want with them?"

  • @johnakias1994 Michael Jackson and Randy Rhoads in the same sentence? really?

  • Gotta tip my hat to Brad Gillis for doing his own solo instead of taking the easy way out and copying Randy's solo note for note.

  • Eu disse

    Adeus ao romance, yeah

Adeus aos amigos, eu vejo você

    Adeus para todo o passado

    Acho que nos encontraremos

    Nos encontraremos no fim

  • miss the old Ozzy now he has changed because of his family and after he came to the osbourne show he seems to be like a naughty kid now and i hate it

  • This tour was the reamaing shows of the Diary of a Madman tour after Randy's death. I saw it live on Feb. 3rd, 1982 in Houston Tx. Shortly before the tragic accident that claimed the life of the greatest guitarist to ever live. Ozzy recruited Nightranger guitarist Brad Gillis to complete the tour. While searching for a replacement, he recorded the live album Speak of the Devil, which only contained Sabbath music. Thanks for the videos. I have been searching for them ever since my VHS copy died.

  • that solo was nothing like randys

  • the best fuking there ever was

  • Sounds just like the album. One thing you can say that ozzy voice always sounded great no matter how high or as you say Sad. he was

  • this song is sad makes me cry sometimes

  • Randy was the best but Brad Gillis played the best guitar solo I have seen at this show!

  • Brad does a good job here, even better lead ,if ya ask me.

  • Yeah Baby !!! RR At his best !! This song shows the intense word weavery that only a soul with a beautiful heart and the real romanticsm of art and love thru honor can acheive .. To be taken away so early is a great service to us !! Because the Lord requested of him and he has taken what his words are sent for !!. He will always talk to us thru his clever choice of words which to me define the SOUND OF A TRUE LOVING HEART WE GIVE HIM TO YOU LORD !!!!!..And thru this

    RANDY RHOADS is in heavenRIP.

  • Love you Ozzy...you & Black Sabbath are legends!

  • amazing voice

  • Comment removed

  • hugawandiay you got that right

  • Randy we miss you T_T

  • what the hell was that guitaR SOLO poor randy ...........

  • saw randy in Lansing Michigan just before they went to Florida and Randy had his accident. One of the best shows I ever saw...

  • good-by to romance?

  • @speedy06x My thoughts exactly...

  • Rest in Peace Rhoads, you have a bad death, you will always be an ispiration for heavy metal and a big guitarist

  • voce e mesmo o principe das trevas

  • This song reminds me of christmas...

  • Must have been a tough freakin' tour. But, amazing performance nonetheless. As per usual.Ozzy kicks ass always!

  • this is the only song i EVER HAVE CRIED TO! best song EVAAAR!!!!!!!!!!

  • great fucking song...horrible tights

  • Awesome performance. Ozzy's vocals are incredible on this one. The guitar solo sounds weak compared to Randy Rhodes' studio job, but that's not to say its bad - not by any stretch of the imagination.

  • Ozzy Osbourne for President!!!

  • te amooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Brad Gillis is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time! He was in two bands simultaneously during this tour!

  • God Bless Rany Rhoads

  • si randy no ubiera tenido ese accidente ,.,. ahora mismo ozzy ousbourne ubiera sido mi grupo favorito

  • "HANG THE BASTARD!" Remember that from the Diary tour in Cleveland,

  • brad killed the solo but he f#$%^& it up

  • FUCK VEVO

  • this heals me and my lost years.

  • My second favorite OZZY song of all time...God Bless Rany Rhoads!!!

  • @nedwetzkyg randy

  • Great song, so beautiful

also love the fact you can actually see the hanged midget above Ozzy lol

  • this song reminds me of my older sister when she use to get fucked up she use to slam this shit lmfao i love this shit

  • I read I Am Ozzy and this shows exactly what was in the book, a heart broken man realying on the fans to be his only way to cheer up. bless randy

  • fuck, nothing like ozzy to mend a broken heart

  • This is so much better than studio version I love u ozzy!!!

  • On video you can actually see how sad is ozzy there. on 1:21 he looks to left side to guitarist. here ozzy really misses randy a lot. it was the same year when randy died. it was very hard to ozzy at that time to keep going on. I heard that leather vest jacket from randy rhoads that brad gillis weared on this tour was ozzy`s wish that he could feel that a part of randy rhoads was still with him on stage. Heavy Metal trully misses randy rhoads.

Randy Rhoads, R.I.P., we miss you, A GREAT LEGEND!

  • @paranoid214 Yeah, god it was hard to watch Ozzy make that quick turn to the left and then look back at the audience thinking "fuck mate, why did you have to leave?!" That was hard.

  • Comment removed

  • I have a solo cover of Goodbye to romance...check it out...pls. comment.

  • @imbarisaxy omg omg omg omg 16 of feb? ozzy???? i must travell to usa , promice you take photos or filming =)

  • Grate fkn song beers up ! RIP

  • Brad Gillis done this good tribute to Randy while he is under pressure from the Shadow of Rhoads

  • Wyjebane w cipkę!

  • One of the greatest songs ever written. RIP Randy Rhoads, your legend will live on.

  • There are 9 deaf persons who saw this.

  • brad gillis did a great job.....i can only imagine the pressure, having to play all randy's parts for the rest of that tour....

  • sounds great

  • i've listened to this about 200x in two days...ozzzzzzzie

  • Hey crue , did'nt mean to hurt your feeling's .Stick to the motleys or better yet Night-Ranger.You can drool over Brad while you listen to Sister Christian.

  • @MrJohnvaldivia brad actually had 2 weeks to learn about 30 songs for this tour

  • @NickxdaxQuick Brad's cool. kicks ass on speak of the devil, I think. But, for someone to say Brad is great! in response to that video is poropostourous and absured. DAMM IT!!!!!!!!!

  • Goodbye Randy

  • brad gillis is great

  • This is essentially my theme song. T-T

  • I FUCKING LOVE YOU ........OZZY...

     YOU ARE FUCKING CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • that note at 2:10 by the keyboard friggin made me cry,it reminds me of past family that is no longer here.

  • I'm having this song played at my funeral.

  • the vocals arent live

  • @Xiolablu3 true

  • Ummm...You guys know that Ozzy doesn't write his own lyrics, right...You can think Bob Daisley for that...please do some research before making completely inaccurate comments...vocal melodies are all that Ozzy is capable of creatively.

  • fucking EPIC

  • This is REAL rock, there's no effects like today's stuff, you listen to ozzy or dio and they sound just like they do on there albums, long love great rock music

  • That's not Randy, in 1982, another guitarist took Randy's place temporary until 1983 in which Jake E. Lee joined the band

  • love you ozzy never stop rocking

  • This song is beyond words.

  • guitarist destroys the guitar solo with all that thrashing crap, no feeling like Randy

  • @MrLafaMinute from a musician stand point its desrespectful to play someones music note for note

  • @motleycrue24 its more disrespectful to play someones music half-assed!

  • @MrJohnvaldivia will if it aint up to your standard than dont watch the video and spend the time to comment it there problem solved

  • Not Randy at all! I forget the guys name but he was from Night Ranger! He was filling in after Randy passed! The he did a decent job from a guitar players stand point, the solo just lacked the feeling, but then solos are so personal that you couldn't possibly duplicate Randy Rhoads with the same feeling. There is only one, imitated but never duplicated. RIP Randy Rhoads.

  • @Jaypiracy I think the guys name is brad gillis or something.

  • @Jaypiracy, Brad Gillis wasn't trying to "duplicate" Rhoads.. Brad Gillis has his own style also Brad Gillis had only a few days to learn all of the songs for the tour... BTW- I didn't see anyone else with the balls to step in at that time...

  • Ozzy had the BEST rock voice of all time! Nobody compares.

Some tried to say Dio could sing better. But guess what, just like guitar playing, "high" notes alone does not make the singer. Ozzy's style was way way better than Dio's.

AND I guarantee you that if Ozzy was doing a show and dio doing one a block away, the OZZY SHOW would GET ALL THE PEOPLE and Dio would be left ALONE singing to EMPTY seats!

    OZ RULES!

  • ..<3...

  • ozzy will always be one of the most underrated songwriters lyrically his lyrics are so deep yet they're clear as day!

  • @90zosoman09 Hate to burst your bubble, but Ozzy didn't write anything. Bob Daisley wrote the first 4 Ozzy records. Geezer Butler did all the lyrics for Sabbath.

  • What a song... I think it's impossible to hate Ozzy.

  • @pumarunner88 you get it...

  • @pumarunner88 I'm from Brazil and Ozzy really has a bad reputation around here, most people here like brazilian country music, pop and funk. they think ozzy is crazy and his songs only talk about death. Cuz of media, brazilian people dont know the most of the best of Rock n Roll, like Ozzy, Led Z, Queen, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Iron Maiden and a lot more

Few people around here enjoy this kind of music, and I'm one of them

    Long live Ozzy

R.I.P. Freddie Mercury, my favorite singer

  • @doutorstarwars I hear you. I was brought up in a fairly conservative environment, and I wouldn't have even guessed that Ozzy made songs like this before I went out and listened to him. I almost got to see him live last January, but my damn car broke down halfway on my trip to see him in Minneapolis... it truly ruined that day, and I cried. I never cry either, but dammit I wanted to see him so badly. Hopefully he tours again soon.

  • @doutorstarwars What do people think of Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera? Two of my favorite musicians. please tell me

  • @xRooster731x They are not very well known arond here, they have more fame outside of the country then inside, especially igor

  • @doutorstarwars I'm from Brazil and I love these kinds of music. (Incidentally it is also my favorite singer Freddy Mercury)

  • @doutorstarwars Thats what you get with ignorance> retarded people

  • @doutorstarwars they're missing out

  • best..." Heavy Ballad song"...the whole fucking world ever produce

Especially, if it play by RANDY

    R.I.P.K.R ( Rest in Peace King R A N D Y )

  • best..." Heavy Ballad song"...the whole fucking world ever produce

  • someone else than me who think the death of randy rhoads is a mystery?

I mean according to ozzy he hated to fly planes. And the logic of the whole story seems weird....

    R.I.P to the man tho

  • @Flingpingz he didnt fly the plane... their bus driver did. and he was drugged up with coke...

  • A FUCKIN GOD =)

  • Not Randy in this video!

  • @moschitta75 No that is Brad Gillis from Night ranger, who is damn good himself.

  • we love you randy !!

  • goodbye to good drugs

    good bye to friends

    ive forgotten

    goodbye to all the past

i guess i can croak off now

  • oh my god, randy is amazing! i so wihs i couldve gone to these concerts

  • Ozzy sounded really good there...missing Randy though. This is one of those songs where the music that came out of Randy's expression, just brings shivers.

  • did anyone notice the hanged midget in the beggining?

  • Wow-- this must have been the Diary of a Madman tour when Ozzy was limping along after Randy died. Super rare vid-- how the hell did you get this?

  • Great concert! RIP RR 25

  • @jbernierjr I meant to say that you can hear sorrow in everyone's playing on this song...surely a tribute to the great loss of Randy Rhoades.

  • i was at this concert in '82 at the Boston Garden and Brad Gillis blew me away. It was like 10 days after Randy had passed, G-d bless his soul, and this guy literally saved the day with a heroic and memorable tribute to quite possibly THE toughest act to follow in rock and roll history. I had tears in my eyes, stoned, at age 15, and now at 43 I still do!!

  • @108vasudeva Damn dude!!! your so luck to have been there!!! I'll do anything 2 see Ozzy!!!

  • @108vasudeva Are are very lucky. Brad was and still is a fantastic guitarist. But it coudln't have been 10 days later, sorry. After Randy died (R.I.P.), they got Bernie Torme from Gillan in, he toured for 6 weeks w. Ozzy, before he left, as he thought it was too difficult and uncomfortable standing up there trying to fill Randy's shoes. Sharon Osbourne had Bernie's hair cut like Randy's, and he had to wear clothes similar to those Randy had been wearing, during the tour, before he died.

  • @108vasudeva Brad replaced Bernie. Only a few pictures and some bootlegs exsists of Bernie's stint w. Ozzy. He did play the Madison Square Garden gig, that Randy had been looking so much forward to, though. Ozzy apparently called Bernie for Randy a few times during the tour, and I don't blame him, Bernie looked a lot like Randy, after Sharon's "makeover" on him. Bernie played a fender stratocaster, and Randy didn't. Brad here is fantastic, just got this gig on dvd. 'Speak Of The Devil LIVE'. \m/

  • gillis has some balls for sure. he had to learn about 37 songs in 2 weeks and then be expected to walk into the spot of rhoads had and he pulled it off with integrity and and a very large afro. hats off to him man.

  • when i first heard this song i thought he sang goodbye to romans

  • @snakehenderson lmao omg thats too funny

  • Love "ballad" Ozzy

  • great song!

  • Definitely a good performance.

  • is it not speled gud bai tu romens (at least, we write it this vai in itaglian...)

  • This show never was meant to disrespect the memory of Randy. The songs, the way they are lovingly and though at times not exact on match with the originals, are meant as a homage to the spirit of Randy Rhoads.

  • one of my favorites!

  • Hehe, they spelled it "Good-by." Hehe.

  • this song makes me wanna cut myself but still its my favorite song at the moment

  • In Brad Gillis' defense, he only had 2 days to learn the set list before his first show with Ozzy. I thought he was pretty damn good.

  • My biggest pet peeve in the world is when they don't show a guitarist playing his solos...

  • to me randy was best guitarist in the world an still is

  • i agree brad should of played it right sounds like he left out alot

  • Randys Solos shouldnt be changed...NO matter who it is..

  • Umm... wait? Is he allowed to wear Randy's Leather Vest? I'm pretty sure thats against the rules of Guitar...

  • yOU GOT THAT RIGHT EMOBOI FUCKING AYE!!
