You are looking at an "outdoor" 1500 and Pre's mile was an indoor record. If you follow Oregon running you would also know that Matt Centrowitz just broke AJ's indoor Mile record at the Washington meet, making Pre number 3 on the Oregon all-time "Indoor mile" list. AJ was also in the race, coming back off an injury and running unattached. He ran 4 flat. I'm sorry I don't have the actual video of the indoor mile AJ ran, so I posted a 1500 race. It has been mind-boggling to some to figure out!

We were talking about breaking Pre's Indoor Mile record. This race is obviously outdoors, and you are right about the time. This one is a 1500. Sorry I don't have AJ's record Indoor Mile up at U. of Washington.

A 3:58 isn't much of a 1500 meter record. I'm pretty sure it was the Mile. He went down in a fall in the Olympic Trials after being stepped on. Coach Vin has a protest filed. We'll see what haps with it.

Tho only thing that "didn't" happen to Sam Borcher in this race was a piano didn't fall out of the sky and land on him. Watch the yellow shirt/blue shorts through the race and try and keep count!
