@TheAbyssalDream Imo Nappa's hair was to differentiate past from future. Not sure about facial hair because that would mean King Vegeta/ Nappa had facial hair when born? The biggest plothole was in the Saiyan Saga when Vegeta and Nappa got out of their capsules and floated in the middle of space while Vegeta destroyed that planet with those Arcosians on it. Later, Frieza mentions hes superior because Saiyans can't survive in space (why Goku was looking for a ship when Namek was destroyed)

@MrZangetsu468 I figured that was because they were still in the planets atmosphere. And the Saiyans are able to shave their head, it just means they won't grow their hair back (Nappa shaved his head and thats why he looks different when he arrives on earth.)

It wasn't like when Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta and Bardock + the rest of the Saiyans were floating in its atmosphere, thats more understandable. But anyway in one of the hell old eps Vegeta had different coloured hair so it doesn't really matter I guess.
