  • A2 Skyline @ Orchestra Night, we played it!

  • ¡Cómo me gusta!

  • ASURA´S WRATH!!

  • Hans Zimmer definitely stole from this for the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack. Just saying. Oh, and I'm playing this in one of my orchestras. OH YEAH!!

  • Forget all your mangas, this is music with pure power! I personally DO like manga and anime and also Rhapsody of Fire, but why to put it here still and all around? Just let the music play, this is the original! Feel the energy it has. I bet that the conductor and musicians are all in trance when performing this piece.

  • Listen!Tomorrow will be better than now.

  • WHO THE HELL IS ASURA???

  • @luckykevinful a video game character from the upcoming game asuras wrath

  • @luckykevinful Asura's Wrath. They use this song in one game sequence, making this now highly epic.

  • SHOW ME WITH YOUR FISTS! ASURA!!

  • @Arausito nah, that "game" is shit.

  • @krontaar It´s not out yet -.-

  • @krontaar Kindly hand in your balls to the nearest man-station. You've lost all your privileges regarding them.

  • @theotherdoomguy I didnt say it was a bad interactive anime, just a shitty game.

  • CHAOS!

  • oh my word. I played this symphony last year, and this movement came up in the background of One Piece! It bothered me cuz I couldn't remember the name D: i've been searching for this for a couple of hours, was so glad the top comment was a one piece reference XD now if only the composers in history actually named their music >_>

  • Out of all 'classical' music I listen to this is by far the best! The melody is awesomely catchy!!!! I can't help humming it under my breath!!! Yeah, people must think I'm crazy, but it's freaking AWESOME!!!!! People who don't appreciate it --> YOU SUCK!!!!

  • DVORAK....ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE!

  • They played this at Kim Jung Il's funeral :(

  • @mylifeforire So?

  • @mtlhoma Just saying it's to bad he died

  • @mylifeforire proof?

  • I really love this movement! <3

  • Yes Karel Ancerl was remarkable interpretation, really good and I listened it long time ago, but there is another of Enrrique Jorda on the seventies also remarkable, very good.

    You are right.

  • This performance is the most remarkable that I have listen in my entire life, powerful, clean, precise, strong, armonious, like a big storm, !!!Remarkable!!!, I listen other performances with Arturo Toscanini, Enrrique Jorda, Otto Klemperer.....etc, but this performance is the best.

!!!!Extraordinary!!! Mr Von Karajan extraordinary conductor+Wiener Philarmonic Orchestra+ Dvorak. Superb!!!!

  • @jivamoksha Karel Ancerl????

  • Anyone know the principal Horn's name?

  • aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh rip my fuckin shirt of

  • dvořák ftw

  • Thanks for stealing it.... Jaws...

  • Magnífico... é simplesmente magnífico!!!

  • Not quite sure whether this version has the slowest 4th movement compared to the other versions conducted by Karajan?

  • Karajan Rocks!! Ex-Nazi member or not.

  • still gives me goosebumps when I listen to it.. Dvorak was such an amazing composer..

  • Financière de l'échiquier

You are my GOD!! for ever

  • Luffy vs Crocodile!

  • i love how they use this in the Asura's wrath trailer

  • La Venus de Praga.

  • Now thats how you conduct!

  • Is the finale to the piece?

  • this peice is just outstanding!!!!!!!! especially when karajan conducts the music!!!!!!!!!!! yay karajan :D

  • he may have been a great conductor but in the mid 30s he joined the nazi party. when i learned that, i destroyed any music files/CDs and replaced them with other conductors and guess what? the others do a great job!

  • @stoneroo so? picasso beated his wife, he still is one of the greatest!, we should not take artist for who they are, or take them as roll models, we eould all end up cutting our ears to send them to our girlfriends or commiting suicide, we should take them for what they left for mankind. Besides you should do a little research, nazi ideals where not that far away from many others' including even if you dont like it, the USA, whichs racism is well known, they just took it to another level

  • @fvmb001 maybe you should commit suicide - making excuses for nazis? comparing them to picasso. you are an idiot. when other conductors fled germany, von karajan joined the nazis because he believed their trash and wanted to advance his career. among the worst of the worst as a person regardless of his talent as an artist.

  • @watermelon2014 - dvorak died - he wasn't a nazi - von karajan croaked in 1989

Karajan joined the Nazi Party in Salzburg on 8 April 1933; his membership number was 1,607,525. In June 1933, the Nazi Party was outlawed by the Austrian government. However, Karajan's membership was valid until 1939. In that year the former Austrian members were verified by the general office of the Nazi Party.

  • @stoneroo sorry, i read "composer" not "conductor" by accident. I reread your comment right after i posted mine and realized my mistake, so I deleted mine, hoping it wouldn't go through to you, but it did. :(

  • those performers are not humans !! sooo precise and perfect ... !!

  • Karajan...always amazing!I love this symphony!

  • FIRE IS BLAZING FAST ACROSS THE BLOODY RED SEA

  • @flameshadow

And we say goodbye mr Crocodile!!!

  • @flameshadow Really very pleasant to hear warm-blooded

  • wheres the rest of it

  • its nice to see such diversity in an orchestra.

  • Great!

  • Sounds like Party Rock. Ahhh... a soothing music to my ears matey.

  • I love it when the wind players don't move excessively; it just looks so amazing and professional.

  • Great!!!

  • The Weiner Philharmonic is so incredible! I don't even know how they play with so much precision and skill. It is almost robotic, but they have so much expression! SImply one of the best orchestras and conductors ever!!

  • Dislike! Not because of Karajan (duh!), but because of the uploader! Where is the ending dude? Why not split the movement into two less-than-10min parts? What you did here is plain mean! It's such a shame :(

  • i love it! it is so fantastic:)

  • I am terribly sorry for my comment about the terrible interpretation... I wanted to say that on another orchestra video... SORRY SORRY

  • Terrible interpretation. If you want to see a good one, see Herbert von Karajan or Derek Gleeson.

  • When you listen to it, you can barely think of anything else around you!! It is splendid. And also well-done Karajan! Rest in peace!

  • I loved it when I fist heard it 5 years ago and I forgot it's name! Now I can finally enjoy tis masterpiece again, thx.

  • 07:27 little slip note... I love when they seem to be human...

  • @TheDittyBags

Irrelevant? I always think of the beginning of this song when i'm taking a dump. It makes it an adventure!

  • the brass is as powerful as i expected it to be, beautiful job on this -

  • Does no-one care that this piece has been cut short? Drives me insane seeing as there doesn't seem to be a 'part 2' available here. Thankfully someone else has uploaded this movement as conducted by Karajan in its entirety. Beautiful piece, though!

  • @Cloudlesssoul What is the link for that?

  • @benbmusic88

    Part 1: watch?v=KtE3P8Z15Pk

    Part 2: watch?v=r-XZpN6XtKY

    Enjoy!

  • @Cloudlesssoul who uploaded the movement complete??

  • @jaimegranada3 I refer you to my post down below on the comments section. It's in two parts, sadly, but it's complete in the sense that every drop of Dvorak goodness combined with Karajan conducting is there available for one to savour.

  • Amazing.... great... i have no words to explain this!!! I lov3ed the orqhestrl sound, the trumpeters are shining.Deivid Santos(trumpet)

  • Amazing.... great... i have no words to explain this!!!Deivid Santos(Trumpet)

  • this is irrelevant but i have to take a shit.... nice music too...

  • john williams uses alot of dvorak in his own music, to name a few, jaws (as previously mentioned), jurrasic park, but i personally would say the most distinctive use of sampling across the two composers would be between movement 4 of the 9th symphony and john williams throne room theme off the end of episode 4

  • 2bucks you sophisticated man you

  • gosh 2bucks needs to stop liking vids cause i keep clicking

  • 2bucks wants his dogs back

  • The beginning of this movement reminds me of the theme to "Jaws."

  • @hornplayerchris John Williams actually borrowed that melody for his "Jaws" soundtrack. This was actually written 100 years earlier!

  • One Piece :D

  • Line Infantry forward!

    Alternating cannon fire!

    Cavalry to the right flank!

  • Absolutely most epic piece of music ever...

  • I have this on 33 1/3 record

  • 3 people had their volume turned off and didn't realize it.

  • It's not a god damn song; it's a _piece_.

  • i love this who can hate it 3 dislikes 116 likes the 4th movement is my fave :)

  • Freakin zombie arms conductor... *Facepalm* Are those rotary trumpets I see though!? In that case, epic win!

  • for this piece, i think there should be as much brass as possible, which leads me to thinking how awesome it woulda been if karajan directed this piece with Gustav Holst's old orchestra. u guys know? the one that he directed Mars with?

  • 0 people haven't.... Oh wait, nevermind.

There are 0 dislikes for a reason. :]

  • This song is amazing.... Ilove how everything was put together.. such a great master piece.

  • Amazing piece. The first couple minutes are probably my favorite part of any piece of classical music ever.

But seriously, that has got to be the worst conductor I have ever seen in my entire life.

  • @SeraphThanatos No kidding, he's got the parkinsons disease shaky hands going on! And since he just had a stroke he can't lift up his damn hands and conduct like this piece deserves!

  • @LordoftheHobbits You do understand that a good conductor does not mean that they can wave their arms around like nuts and sway back and forth right? A good conductor is one that encourages the orchestra to put their heart to the music, to express the emotions that they find in the piece, and to produce music (not notes. Music.) So honestly, even if Karajan can't move his hands so well, no one gives a crap. The music is still beautiful, and he's a brilliant conductor.

  • @timissuperamazing All I'm saying, is watch this piece by The Dublin Philharmonic. In my opinion, their conductor does a far better job. He clearly brings out the best, the passion and the intensity, that this symphony deserves.

  • This one of Dvorak's orchestra music best ever and my favourit part of it was 0:00-1:47

  • @scotlandboy100 Good for you.

  • This is just the best performance I've ever heard of Dvorak's 9th Symphony. The Wiener Philharmoniker looks fantastic. I really enjoy this recording.

  • this was wakelands show last year.. i dont go there and i memrized it lol

    epic music

  • Lindo!!! Magnífico!!! Maravilhoso!!!!

  • Wow! This performance gave me the goosebumps. I loved it! It sounded so majestic.

  • The hall has absolutely outstanding acoustic. And as usual Karajan did fantastic !! Whole Dvořák's symphony is amazing and breathtaking !!

    Greatings from Czech Republic

  • @ghonik : Greetings from Dejvice

  • @ghonik This is one of the best I've heard, and I agree completely. My other favorite is the Sir Colin Davis version with the London Symphony.
