A dominant car is one that sees regular 1/2's (unchallenged) from both drivers and that can achieve regular P1 by more than 0.5sec.
McLaren haven't had a dominant car since the Senna/ Prost era.

Hamilton is a choker and always will be. Threw away a 17 point lead with 2 races left in 2007, and then almost threw it away again in 2008 by losing his head at the start of the 2008 Japanese grand prix and in the 2008 Brazil grand prix he slid wide with 2 laps left and got passed by Vettel. Even when he won the title he choked towards the end of the season. What does that tell you? He has yet to prove he can win the title without choking.
i can tell this season is going to be on tough year for Hamilton and Button cause Schumacher iss returning, Lotus F1 is returning and former world champion Alonso has joined ferrari.
well, schumacher can't pull the trigger anymore, Lotus will be on the top... of the slowest teams, and Alonso will be going head-head will hamilton for a classic Ferrari-McLaren battle
Don't underestimate Schumi or Lotus, give him a few races to get into his stride and he'll be up there. As for Lotus, what they have achieved already is fantastic, give them a season or 2 and I reckon results will come.

@utubedano he proves his skill in the top gear celebrity in an averaged priced car, check the time he does, sure its in a rubbish car, but he does it on an oily and wet track, and nearly tops the other f1 drivers who did it on a completely dry day

@fatpat81 i noticed though he used different racing lines on that lap,which is what probably helped. for example the first corner, the other f1 drivers go out wide then turn in, whereas lewis sticks it on the inside, which is the best thing to do after going on that track on GT5!!

Ah makes sense now, your an immature Button fan, somewhat resentful that he is now pitted against the best driver on the grid? It's laughable that people use the 'Hamilton isn't very good coz he finished 5th in a below average car" argument, yet year after year Button finished nowhere in below average cars.
Button won last years title thanks to a unique set of circumstances, I was glad he won and made up for him, but he won't win another title with the likes of Hamilton & Alonso in decent cars.

Hamilton is a choker and always will be. Threw away a 17 point lead with 2 races left in 2007, and then almost threw it away again in 2008 by losing his head at the start of the 2008 Japanese grand prix and in the 2008 Brazil grand prix he slid wide with 2 laps left and got passed by Vettel. Even when he won the title he choked towards the end of the season. What does that tell you? He has yet to prove he can win the title without choking.

i can tell this season is going to be on tough year for Hamilton and Button cause Schumacher iss returning, Lotus F1 is returning and former world champion Alonso has joined ferrari.

well, schumacher can't pull the trigger anymore, Lotus will be on the top... of the slowest teams, and Alonso will be going head-head will hamilton for a classic Ferrari-McLaren battle

Don't underestimate Schumi or Lotus, give him a few races to get into his stride and he'll be up there. As for Lotus, what they have achieved already is fantastic, give them a season or 2 and I reckon results will come.
