  • Fuck yeah :) LOW KI LOW KI LOW KI

  • Borrowing Tazz's old line though? lol

  • where can I watch the full event

  • and that would be a knockout. hehe.

  • Evolve could probably build their company on underutilized wrestlers like Low Ki the way ECW did with Shane Douglas and Taz. If they can afford it, Shelton Benjamin would be a great addition.

  • Great debut. Nice promo too.

  • This is how Low ki shoulda debuted on wwe

  • YOU JUST GOT KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT!... take his shoes

  • Well the big guy did ask for it. Did u see him point to his chin b4 the bell?

  • So unprofessional Im glad WWE fired his stupid ass!

  • @Jenova4569 your an idiot. for the record, wwe didnt fire him, he asked for his release when creative had no real plans for him

  • @halfbaht He then said on a radio show that WWE did indeed release him.

  • @Fehnrique yeah, release. not fire. he was released because he to be released. your ever stupider than the last guy.

  • @halfbaht

you do realise that "release" can men either that he asked for and received his walking papers, or the company decided they didn't need him and released him?

Either way, "release" is just a nicer way of saying "termination of employment".

  • @kaithekender Or you can just say he was "Future Endeavored". *shrugs*

  • @ImmortalGuru or you can just state the truth and say "asked for release"

  • @ImmortalGuru

"made redundant" is my favourite euphemism along these lines

  • @kaithekender no shit sherlock. but if you bothered to ever pay attention, especially to the multiple interviews when he left wwe, he left. he asked to leave. wwe had no plans for him so he went. end of. i know what release means. read my previous comments. i was trying to get through to they guy senshi/low-ki/kaval whatever u wanna call him, asked to be released.you can do that you know

  • @halfbaht

he may very well have, but i dont care enough about this to find out. i'll just take your word for it.

the way you were going at the other dude though, it just looked like you had no idea what the term "release" meant.

but yknow what? fuck this argument

  • You all realise this is a work right? Low Ki makes it look extremely stiff but he's barely hitting him, Joe is another example, Joe and Low Ki would murder someone if they so pleased but they aren't actually as stiff as people make them out to be

  • my god the announcers just kill it.

  • When i first saw Low Ki in TNA i thought this guy hits way to hard.

This just proves it, very unprofessional.

  • So much retard rage in the top comments.

  • Murder. Legalized.

  • Did he just rip off Tazs' trade mark line at the promo?

  • I can spend all day hearing ki's voice

  • duh, you don't want to hurt others but IF SHIT HAPPENS you try to turn it in good business. I have never heard of Athu before this (and this was his fault as much as Ki's) so it's good for him that this is publicized.

  • Ahtu sold that BEAUTIFULLY!

  • @CapnAkira He wasn't selling. He got knocked the fuck out

  • @FranchiseVideosINC I hope not. Seeing as he got stomped, that's just horrible.

  • low ki? thats Kaval a former wwe superstar

  • @KoraggRules He was Low Ki first in the indies

  • @KoraggRules Low Ki/Senshi Former TNA and ROH Star before stepping foot in WWE and also and also an icon in the indipendant circuit

  • Well, that was disappointing.

  • When you hurt someone in the ring, you don't go over to them and assist them. You play your part and you improvise. Just because its an indy event, does not mean the sense of Kayfabe goes out the window.

  • so..... is this botchamania worthy?

  • @fearman2000 No because there was no botch. Low Ki can be stiff is fuck is all

  • he does have place to work EVOLVE is actual wrestlinbg sheezle you fucking nigga.

  • Low ki is a piece of shit, no wonder he has no place to work

  • This is a fucking work! A great work....but a work any way!

  • Well based off this promo by Ahtu, I'm guessing that it was probably all a work. Besides I don't think I've ever heard of a class 9 concussion.

    watch?v=ty5lJYMVR5U

  • Ki then did a couple other of his main moves and then ended it. I doubt very much that it was supposed to end that quickly. It would have been a much better match to have low ki fight off the monster, and then win, instead of winning like this. but an accident happened, for whatever reason ,so they had to improvise. For gabe putting it over that to me just looks like him sticking with the low ki is here angle.

  • I dont think they would. So when he accidently got knocked out, maybe the ref should have stopped it, but since it was obviously unplanned he didnt know what to do, which also seemed very obvious.

  • I know very little about evolve, and nothing about this ahtu guy. but by watching this it was obvious the guy wasnt supposed to get knocked out. Yeah i think low ki was supposed to win, but why would they completley destroy a monster character like that for no reason at all?

  • 2:46 Thanks for coming...

  • The last time I saw a knockout like that was Goldberg vs Ringpost

  • Even if this knockout is faked, it doesn't make much sense for the match to continue when one of the guys is unable to defend themselves. The logical outcome would have been to stop the match because of the knockout or low ki being disqualified for continuing to assault a defenseless competitor. It was a stupid segment.

  • People think that was real? It's a work. Good job by Ahtu selling. Match wouldn't have continued if he got knocked out.

  • work

  • as bad as I feel for Ahtu (who probably agreed to being knocked the fuck out) I can watch this over and over and over and over and over and over....(repeat 100X)

  • For as short as that match was, and just to get Ki over...I would have just pinned the guy after the KO. "I'm sorry, did I just destroy your beast with one blow? Yep"-says more than, "I had to KO the guy then stomp him while he was out to beat him"...that's just me though, and I never drew a dime...

  • does nobody remember Dan Maff vs. Low Ki from ROH in 2003? just saying..

  • lightweight viper

  • Shocked, matched should have been stopped straight away. Why risk the guys health. He's clearly out of it.

  • Going back and looking at that that kick connected really hard you can even hear the smack sound maybe he just was not ready for it to happen or he just let the kick connect. Wrestlers communicate with everyone from their opponent, ref, and anyone else around the ring so if he got injured Low-ki would know to end the match quickly witch maybe happen. But wrestlers are paid to go out there, work, and its important for them to stay in character.

  • athu may not have protected himself but low ki is at fault. when you wrestle one of your jobs is to protect your opponent. if athu was ko'ed then they should have stopped the match. and for gaabe to promote that as strong style is disgusting. people who wrestle strong style still protect their opponents. gabe & low ki made a dick move there

  • @EthanEpicenterSilver You kind of cancel your arguement out by saying that Athu could have protected himself better.

  • If you want to get mad at someone, get mad at Gabe for putting someone as inexperienced as Athu in a ring. He did absolutely nothing to protect himself from that kick. He was totally unprepared which is something you should never be in a wrestling ring especially when you're in there with someone like Low Ki. Stop the Low Ki hate!

  • No chance this was a work cooked up by the promoter and Low Ki for 'evolving' pro wrestling to emulate the thing of the times; MMA?

  • Damn!! But like MMA the match should of been stopped he was knocked the fuck out! Got to think bout safety to the athletes as well

  • Christ, what an absolute asshole.

  • @h9uableshoots it seems no one is taking your side... and I'm not about too either. The match should have been stopped and Low Ki could have still walked away with the win and story lines could have continued. We all understand wrestling is to be entertaining but when a persons safety comes into question then it's a no brainer. You're not there to hurt some one and if you think a knock out makes it more entertaining then go watch crappy backyard wrestling and stay out of the pros.

  • Comment removed

  • I like MMA, Low Ki, and Evolve. But I love pro wrestling and Low Ki took it too far. Maybe he should take notes from Viscera (Big Daddy V) because he never killed a guy with that rolling kick. I also think Evolve should have stopped this match because in an MMA fight this match would have been stopped after that kick. Besides it being confirmed online that he was legit knocked out, its obvious to see from his muscles relaxing, his arms dropping and his eyes rolling in the back of his head

  • KOs aren't supposed to happen in a fake sport. Continuing the match is pretty dickish too. No wonder Low Ki's gotten blackballed or fired from so many promotions.

  • @TheRealMrPapaya Base on what I've heard from documentaries and stuff, you are trained to finish the match, even if an injury occurs.

  • he got k the f out

  • I like it when jobbers get punished

  • Well consider me disgusted

  • yea that's pretty f'd up, i may have had to level Low Ki after i regained conciousness, if you are going to do that, atleast let your opponent know so he's prepared to take it, he didn't seem like himself in this one, looked like he didn't give a damn about his opponent at all and just did what he wanted, i love Low Ki, but you can't really defend being careless like that

  • The point of professional wrestling is to not hurt your opponent. Whether you're stiff style or not, the ultimate goal is to never injure the other person working with you. It's having respect for the other person in which you're putting your life on the line for to entertain, and respect for the business as a whole. This video makes me sick, and the fact that Sapolsky praised Low-Ki for this makes me even more sick. The match should have been stopped. This makes me question Sapolsky's character

  • @hitman0304 GTFO if you don't like the DAMN promotion SICK of you DUMBASS SMARKS.

  • @h9uableshoots people like you are the reason these guys go out there and do that. I'm the biggest pro wrestling fan in the world, but I am tired of seeing guys risk their lives doing stupid crap like this. It's one thing to put your own health at risk, but when your opponent of a pre-determined pro wrestling match allows this to happen, and the promotion lets it continue, and then praises it...there is a major, major problem.

  • @hitman0304 Maybe it is building an ANGLE bro it's wrestling the guy is alright jesus just be a fan.

  • @h9uableshoots great an angle where you let another man be careless with other men's well-being. That's certainly great pro wrestling

  • @h9uableshoots Fucking moron. If Ahtu said he had a concussion, you're the type of fan who would yell out "cool story bro". Moron.

  • @hitman0304 It's the fans that have brought it to this level. Psychology wise, that match should have been over after the kick. Why he didn't just pin him instead of getting his stuff in to get over, IDK. I would have just drug him out and pinned him. Everybody knows you do the stomp, sure they wanna see it, but why? The guy is out cold with one blow. That would make me look more of a B.A. than beating a dead horse...

  • @hitman0304 the only thing ki hit him with was the rolling kick at the beginning. the second kick didn't connect and if you watch ki carefully lays him down and having seen Ki do the double stomp many times he held back a lot and probably barely tapped him on the chest. Ki was very professional and was out to protect his opponent. You can see in the pin he was talking to him. This was a freak accident, not reckless, you want reckless its not here.

  • @hitman0304 Low Ki is was and always will be a sloppy stiff worker coupled with shaddy selling, but I don't think you can blame him for knocking out Ahtu, it looked like he caught his head on the bottom turnbuckle.

For the 'Ki nutthuggers, and by god there's a lot on the IWC, if Ki so great why didn't he make more of an impact when he was in Japan? At least Am Dragon toured with the big companies as well as Daniels.

Low Ki = poor mans Taz

  • @h9uableshoots I'm way sicker of you dumbasses glorifying concussions.

  • @h9uableshoots What does being a smark have to do with being concerned for a person's health? It's dangerous and irresponsible on the promoter's part to ENCOURAGE this senseless behavior. If I wanted to watch an MMA fight, I'd watch UFC. They have the proper procedures in place to try and protect their competitors - this is out of line for a sport where the wrestlers are supposed to protect each other. The concept of intentionally hurting someone outside of sport is barbaric.

  • @hitman0304 ki only hit with the rolling kick at the beginning. the second kick didn't connect and if you watch ki carefully sets lays him down and having seen Ki the double stomp many times he held back a lot and probably barely tapped him on the chest.Ki was very professional and was out to protect his opponent. You can see in the pin he was talking to him. This was a freak accident. and its the opponent that turned his head and caused the ko.He should of taken on the forehead

  • probably another Roid Rage in the making

  • low ki vs nate diaz .. thumbs up !! :P :P :P

  • i like low ki,but why is he walking like an angry ape

  • We dont know what happened shit happens in this crazy business i mean Owen Hart of all people who is a tremendous worker botched a piledriver and almost ended the career of SCSA

  • Low-Ki = Taz 3.0? I like that idea.

  • He didn't even fully connect with the kicks and the stomp calm down

  • lol @ people complaining about stiffness you need to check out japan then

  • Low-Ki is a wrestler who takes it too damn seriously. Go into MMA psycho, if you wanna fight for real. Like has been said, looking strong but STILL protecting your opponent is why guys like Joe, Danielson and Punk are on national tv every week and why Low Ki is not. Please no one say he was a victim of wwe size bias, not when Danielson is the world champ

  • @slove32100 dude did you forget that bryan danielson was fired by wwe for no good reason so fucking what he is the world champion in this era that doesn't mean much John Cena has been wwe champion like 13 or 14 times in like 5 or 6 years....

  • @realestever85 Danielson got fired because he did something that bothered WWE's sponsor Mattel, and that was choking the ring announcer and spitting on Cena.

  • No glazed look on his eyes? I say he's selling like a champ!

  • Gabe Sapolsky is a fan MMA as well. He attended his very first MMA event UFC 133 last year.

Davey Richards admitted to being a fan of MMA.

The DGUSA/Evolve style is different than the WWE style.

  • Les Thatcher called a bunch of you idiots on the latest Wrestling Weekly. LOL

  • MMA/Japanese influence on wrestling has made the indy's a very exciting place over the past 10 years. I don't think the line between MMA and Pro-wrestling has been blurred at all. I like seeing more realistic, athletic moves and matches. As a pro wrestling fan, I don't know how you couldn't.

  • Not sure if work.

  • to all those who think Ki legit knocked out Ahtu, congrats on being the last people to think wrestling is real and a special congrats to Ahut for selling so well that these marks believed it.

  • @bigkev625 ahtu did really get knocked out because low ki is an idiot. Call it a nice sell job when your still dizzy when in the back thats not selling.

  • @bigkev625 it was actually confirmed that he did indeed knock him out

  • If Low Ki wasnt a pussy he'd fight mma or something where people kick back

  • Low Ki did nothing wrong on his part. Plenty of guys use the same kick and the dude just didn't protect himself and wasn't ready. Roids don't make you a wrestler.

  • We may not know exactly what happened here, but it definitely wasn't right. Whether the jobroni wasn't protecting himself or not, Low Ki could have done a little better job. The stiffness he works with is what makes Low Ki and guys like him some of the best workers in the sport, but you have to protect the other guys or noone will work with you. Low Ki still one of the best in the world...this stuff is not necessary!

  • @TheJazzyjeff23 Gabe Sapolsky wrote the whole night Low Ki was ready to explode. I'm thinking He just went full force and hit him with everything with that kick. The ref should have stopped the match right there.

  • Crap like this is why I hope Low-Ki never works again. I don't care how loud a kick is, you aren't supposed to ruin a career with a single move.

  • maybe the roidosaur should learn to protect himself and stop sticking needles in his ass

  • So much bitching these days about a guy getting struck by another guy. Maybe it's just a great sell. Maybe he just didn't protect himself. So what? Is this what the internet wrestling community has become? Jeez. Let's just watch the damn thing and have fun.

  • @Lunacyk agree 100%

  • He can't sell 'cause that nigga concussed.

  • CRITICAL!

  • @realestever85 nice comeback. have fun sucking an overrated shithead's cock for the rest of his career

  • Comment removed

  • Low Ki is a worthless sack of shit

  • @TripleRJ2689 SO ARE YOU!

  • Samoa Joke could learn a lot from Low Ki. Ki wouldn't be a jobber in wwpge, and Joe shouldn't be jobbing in TNA.

  • @GothEmoWC

Another dumb Mark complaining about WWE

  • @michiyoyoshiku Another little Prick who has too much time their hands.

  • @GothEmoWC

    Thanks for clearing that up

  • @GothEmoWC Atleast Samoa Joe isn't getting pennies in the indies anymore. Low Ki can't stay in a fed for no more than two years.

  • ECFUCKINDUB ARENA

  • he was genuinly knocked out, it was reported on EWN

  • 4:27 - :D

  • The point is to NOT hurt the guy you're working with. wrestlers impersonating MMA fighters. When I want MMA I watch MMA when I want pro wrestling I watch pro wrestling. Guys like Ki,Davey, and Eddie Edwards are trying to incorporate MMA into their schtick and "strong' style into their gimmick and usually when I see them wrestle I think "Why not just try out MMA if you love it so much?"

  • @mrejr8234 It is not so much as trying to hurt the guy that you are working with as it is the Japanese Shoot style of wrestling. Even Sami Callihan talks about it in his best on indies interview where these guys like Davey, Low Ki, Eddie, Roderick, Kingston and so forth are mixing in martial arts into their repertoire because not only does it add a bit of realism to the match it is returning pro wrestling to its roots as carnival/shoot wrestling.

  • @ReturnPro there is a big differance between working a stiff Japanese style and being reckless like this. All those guys you mentioned ass well as Ki are working indy arenas like this because they do dumb shit like this to get themselves over CM Punk & Brian Danielson throw kicks stiff as hell but they don't do reckless dumb shit like this. Kicking a guy in the head as hard as u can to get a pop is beyond stupid it's dangerous Hell Steamboat was kicking in the 80s but he didn't do this shit

  • @mrejr8234 "stiff" Pro wrestling has been around ALOT longer than MMA. Just watch old New Japan and All Japan

  • @lukepghpa

    Anything Stan Hansen

  • @mrejr8234 exactly..... dumbass indy geeks that think it makes you a tough guy to legit kick a guy in the head when your first job is to take care of each other are true MARKS. Bullshit like this is why a guy as super talented as Ki will never really "make it" in this business. Imagine him doing that to CM Punk or Sting on live PPV. Such bullshit. Not to mention he went ahead with a finish with a guy that can't even walk on his own let alone protect himself against Ki jumping off the top rope.

  • @mrejr8234 If your opponent don't put their hands up, are you to blame? TBH I wouldn't be shocked if this whole thing was a work.

  • @TheStevieHWWE that one did not look like a work I think he looked completley incoherent

  • @TheStevieHWWE it didnt look like it was something that was went over though, if you plan on sprinting at your opponent and nailing them in the head, give them some sort of heads up so that they can protect themselves, unless of course they did go over it, but it didnt seem so

  • @mrejr8234 low ki actually is an mma expert and an mma fighter too

  • @mrejr8234 I dont see what the issue is

  • @mrejr8234 you must really hate puro, huh?

  • @mrejr8234 go ahead and disrespect three of the best professsional wrestlers alive today.

  • @GothEmoWC I didn't see Chuck Taylor's name in there.

  • @mrejr8234 shut your fucking mouth idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • @brunodestructo Snug/Solid is different than Stiff...

  • How long before Gabe and the lockerroom remember how big of an asshole Ki is?

  • dude on commentary sounds a lot like joey styles.

  • @CardboardSA i think it was him, idk but i heard that he was there.

  • Great way to use Low Ki. Awesome debut

  • i hate low-ki

  • ARRIVE

    STIFF

    LEAVE

  • Comment removed

  • Am I the only one who saw Ahtu's cut & immediately heard "UHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WHAAAAAAAAT A RUSH!!!!!!!!!"

  • TNA SHOULD HAVE SIGNED LOW KI INSTEAD OF THE UNKNOWN X DIVISION ATHLETES THEY HAVE NOW

  • @dazeordavid Uh...........so he could fuck up and kick guys in the head like this on their show instead? This is exactly why Lo Ki is probably the most talented guy in the business and can't make a good living out of it. Dumb shit like this.

  • @TheDRied while i agree with you that these guys should expect to take hard shots what he did was just reckless. It doesn't matter if its pro wrestling or sports entertainment the two guys in that ring are trusting each other with one anothers safety. Lowki did no such thing and I for one have lost some respect for him. If he wants to try that badass stuff he needs to get in the octagon. Bet they'll set his ass straight.

  • Holy fuck... When did Alistair Overeem join the Evolve card?

  • I like Low-ki but he is just so cocky .... he is not the best in the world he's good but when you shit on opportunity it rarely knocks twice

  • @TBCIK my good sir or maam whatever Ki did not shit on opportunity as you say there are people, believe it or not, who like pro wrestling and hate being told they are not good enough to be in wwe when the miz and randy orton are out front. there are people who don't like being buried for the simple reason they made their name elswhere in wrestling.

  • If this was an mma fight that kicks would gave been bad ass but it wasn't. This is wrestling and low ki is just reckless. Guy thinks he's hardcore his ass needs to try that in a ufc ring and see how far he gets. This video was just pathetic and if I was low ki I'd be ashamed to call myself a pro wrestler.

  • @joerios2486 there in lies the difference in pro wrestling and sports entertainment, pro wrestling is more sport. you espect to take hard shots, you expect to get kicked in the face, you also expect to deliver a few of those too. Whe they say go home you go home. kayfabe - look it up, it doesnt just apply to the "character".

  • @TheDRied If you recall Miz was treated like shit too. But he stayed and worked his ass off.

And buried for the simple reason they made their name elsewhere?

    Punk and Bryan? Yeah.

So what was 80s, 70s, 60s, etc pro wrestling? Pro wrestling involves selling and doesn't need to be OMG STIFF SHOT like Japanese wrestling.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy Yeah CM Punk was buried so much he became a 6 time world champion in WWE...

  • @AmericanNohbuddy The whole gimmick is it's an illusion. You're supposed to make it look like it's real, not really knock people out. It's going to far because all the fans are to "Smart" and can't appreciate it like it used to be, and you still can't please them. You can be solid without being stiff, and still go home safe.

  • @McCHitman

Making it more "real" is pointless when you know it's fake.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy We aren't trying to convince people it's real, we are trying to make them forget that it is. I don't think you understood what I was even saying...

  • @McCHitman

Well having guys be dropped on their head, get up and no sell certainly will have them forget it's "trying to be real".

  • @McCHitman

Well having guys be dropped on their head, get up and no sell certainly will have them forget it's "trying to be real".

  • Damn,it sounded like he got hit with a hammer. Not good.

  • did he just got ko for real? low ki is badass!!!!!!!
