@whuwhaaa2 clannad has one main stories and two different one episode long side stories where the main character falls in love with two different people. clannad also has a movie. And for the second anime that made me cry, honestly, kannazuki no miko

as much as i would love more angel beats it's probaly a good idea not to do any more seasons seeing as we know what the purpose of the academy is so there would be no real surprises about the basis of the show

i did imagine a second season with the same cast that took place in the living world were the shadow things escaped into the living world and otonashi has to gather everyone from the battlefront to fight them off but it doesnt sound as good as season 1

i noticed that several voice actors for the dubbed version of clannad are also in angel beats. the voice actor for Sunohara is also Naoi, the voice actor for Akio is also Noda and The voice actor for Tomoya is also Hinata. its also really funny because Naoi hypnotizing Hinata into thinking hes toilet paper seemed like a reference to clannad when Tomoya convinces Sunohara to say "And a toilet seat cover" after every sentence. did anyone else notice this?

There are lots of the same actors :) Hinata and tomoya are the same, Naoai and sunohara, yuri and ryou, kanade and katomi, akio and takamatsu(I think that's the right one), one of the girls in goldemo is kyou, and yui is Fuko :)

@shadow1566 clannad is my favorite anime. as adacowan said it is very sad and YOU WILL CRY. i was crying for a large part of after story. but its also very funny and has alot of romance. if you liked angel beats you will love clannad. 10 out of 10.

@freakabe Clanned is a good one, its got comedy, drama, a love story. But it is soul crushing, however its the good kind of soul crushing because the show makes everything ok in the end, so watch it, dont give up on it, it can get pretty boring sometimes. you can watch the 2 seasons and the Afterstory on Netflix. Buy far on of the greater animes out there (in my opinion)

I would have to say that between this, Clannad and Kanon, this is the "saddest" of them all. Unlike Clannad and Kanon, where the characters who got into relationships were able to develop those bonds b4 one of them was taken away, Angle Beats played what I would call "Cruel Irony" on the characters, because the simple cause and effect made it so that whoever fell in love would then be at peace with themeselves which of coarse meant being taken away immediatly b4 we get to see any development.

It's possible to find out which episode this was intended for simply by looking at 0:55 to 0:59 , as it shows clips from the episode at that point. This one was for episode 2. If you're wondering why Yui and Naoi aren't in this intro, that's the reason.
