  • got me the same exact one a few months ago, i love it

  • I have the same year and model, but I notice yours has a different front fork. Did you upgrade it or is it stock? Mine has a Spinner.

  • front fork is garbage otherwise i love mine

  • Ive got an 08 and I freaking love it! The Bontrager Camino rims were not up to holding my big ass up, but now with the Azonic Outlaws, I can hit anything! Everyone told me the derailleurs were crap, but mine are still shifting like butter!

  • well if your going to get a bike i perfer the 4300 series and i also have a reason for it any other bikes dont ofer as much capabilitys as this bike does.one advantage of this bike is the hydraulic disc brakes but they could of made the front axle alittle stronger.

  • i have 4300 disk 2009 and it is one of the best hardtail mountain bike i have had even thought i have upgraded parts and if you are into serious mtb i would recommend the 4300 with disk

  • @springfieldgarand hahaha, that's awesome. But yeah this bike is amazing. I've got a 21" in matte green.

  • Nice! Probably going to get this bike but with the disk brakes :D

  • Also got mine today, i love it! :D

  • hey whats the diffrence between this bike and the series 6 because when i went into my local bike shop the 4300 was only like $539 and the series 6 was somewhere in the nine hundreds.

  • @TheRealBrandyn The frame is the same, but you get a good name fork, I believe a Rock Shock rather than the RST, hydraulic disc brakes, little bit better wheels. A slx crank, 4300 has a SR suntour, and a few other items. Stuff you probably would want, but in my case, I could only afford the 4300 and slowly built it up to where I like it!

  • i just got mine couple of hours ago and after the tech do the final set up i hit it right on the trail and its awesome bike and it handles rugged terrain very well especially on the mud.You better get the one with the disc version for only $100 more or if later you decided to upgrade the disc it cost you around 300 dollars, well shimano

  • I got this bike in green, love it :)

  • Could you have possibly made this video in a darker room?

  • @SpringfieldGarand yeah I think I could arrange that if you would like

  • Hi. I went to see this bike today at my local shop and like it very much...

I'm a newbie and would like to buy something that mid-level. I don't want to the best cause I don't have $ but I don't want something too heavy either like walmart bike...I noticed that the dic version in $100 more. Should I pay the difference for the dis? is it rally much better?? Also how much should I expect to pay for this bike, dish and without?

    tks

  • @revizcaino i've got the 4300 and have tried the disc version. If you like the way it looks and will be doing a lot of ROUGH mountain biking, then yes by all means go for the disc brakes, but if you're doing roads and some tracks, then the un-disc version will be more than suitable. I paid roughly £300 for the un-disc version, and the discs are roughly £360. I would go. for the non-disc version. and it has mounting points for if you decide you want to upgrade to discs. Hope i've helped ;)

  • @revizcaino without disc in US$ is $499.99 +tax ,the one with disc (4300 disc) is 619.99 + tax ..hope it helps

  • Finally they go with lines below the tube

  • does it have remote lockout?

  • I am gonna order a 2010 4300 Disc, or 4500 Disc very soon.

  • I have a 2009 one. It ROCKS!

  • i own a trek 4300 2010 and its awesome!!! smooth ride on trails. the saddle is uncomfortable and the brakes are OKAY. it can really take a beating when i do jumps. i would recommend it but replace the saddle!

  • My 2009 one has a race lux that's VERY comfortable.

  • That is a good bike for the price.

    I give you 5 stars.

    I got a Schwinn

I will send you a video response of my bike.

  • my advice, get slick tires,i go 60km/h with no problem now with mine

  • The Trek 4300 Disc has a couple more perks compared to the 4300. More aggressive tires, strong and improved rims and an upgraded Shimano Disc brake set-up. The Pro-Stop system that was on the '09 4300 Disc had a couple issues so it was replaced. All in all, they are both GREAT bikes for the beginning to avid biker and will stand up to the torture you throw at them. I'm getting my 2010 4300 Disc next monday... Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi, what is the size of this bike?

  • 19.5

  • im looking at bikes and i dont know what to get i just started mountain biking and love it so not sure what to get either a 4300 3900 3700 trek what would you recomend and why

  • well i just depends how into mtb your going to get into. if you are real serious about it i would get the 4300, your realy just getting better shocks and a little lighter frame. the other minor things dont make that big a difference so if your on a tight budget go 3700 but if not i would recomend 4300

  • I had a 3700, but it was stolen. I'll be getting the 3900 tomorrow. This time with disc brakes.

  • well thanks for the comment but I decided to go with a gt avalanche 2.0

  • @djalbert2684 get a specialized. trek prices have gone way up since 2009 and they suck ass. Specialized has way better frames, make of better materials and manufactored at a higher quality standard. Also they tend to use SRAM parts intead of shitty shimano parts. wanna know a bike industry secret? Shimano claims that they are not responsible for any defects you find in their products. they claim that "if it leaves the shimano factory, it is free of defects and not eligible for warrenty".

  • travis this is your couisn, u r stupid

  • Getting one in a little over a week, can't wait!!!

  • Just ordered the 2010 4300 Disc version.Looking forward to it.

  • yeah its a great bike you will like it
