What many people don't know, is that Nickelback are actualy a METAL influenced band. I've heard many, many interviews where they talked about being influenced heavily by: Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc...

Ever since The Long Road, they've become more of a Metal/ Hard Rock band with every album. Hopefully there new album will continue to go in that direction like their last 3.
