Mas199483, I was thinking the same thing. Anyway, I'm just glad John rejoined the band, he totally saved these guys from flaming out in the mid 90s. Don't get md wrong, I'm a huge fan of Dave navarro, but John is just a better fit with the rest of the band. RHCP is my favorite band of a whole generation and John gets his fair share of the credit.
It's amazing how good he looks. He has cleaned up so much since he was a junkie, it is such an amazing story, how incredible it was for him to turn his life around.

I wonder how he changed from being a junkie to being this mature a guy. I have watched a million videos on youtube about John or RHCP so far. I am still amazed by the fact that he managed to be one of the best guitarists of all times while struggling with severe drug addiction. I am so glad he has been sober and clean and so full of energy for writing music and recording with or without the Chilis.

Niandra LaDes, which is also one of my favorite albums of all times, is without doubt a genial stroke - the first glimpse one could get of what John really is: not only a skilful guitarist, but a musical genius, even when stoned and ragged. But he developed with every other album as well. He didn't get "better", he just got different - he's a volcan that erupts music, and very different kind of music.
He's benn praised so many times that he doesn't need me to praise him, but nevertheless I do as he's simply a phenomenon. Next to Niandra LaDes for example also Shadows collide with people, Curtains and A sphere in the heart of silence are masterpieces that couldn't be more different regarding the style of music but that are of unique beauty each.
I don't know if "weak" is the proper term... he has different ideas right now but I would say there's no group of guys he'd rather play with when he wants to let it out and play funky rock... he's experimenting right now, but he still loves the peppers at heart I'd bet

fall out boy have been making very cool pop music of late. And infinity on high is in my opinion a better and fresher sounding album than stadium arcadium. I love the chili peppers, and frusciante is a hero of mine, and i know that he wouldn't be snobbish about a band that writes such catchy pop songs with very interesting melodies, considering that someone like beyonce has been an inspiration to him in the past. (im a 23 year old guy not a teenage girl)

i cant believe john is helping out with fallout boy.. he once said that "i think the rock genre has gotten stale, rock bands dont seem to be taking that many chances." Fallout Boy is one of those stale rock artists that is defining the stale rock music today.
yeah ataxia II was recorded in 2004 he just mastered that stuff and it just came out this year. The solo album im talking about is suppose to come out in Fall but it could well end up coming out early 2008. Hes also doing ASITHOS II which definately comes out late next year

thats a good point. yea, after watching it again, i see what your saying. It also seems (and im not sure if you meant this too) that he had the support and the love from them, but he didnt want it (if that makes sense). Its like, he wanted to get over his problems himself. I dont know if any of that makes any sense to you. Sorry, its hard to explain it. But i get what your saying. It makes a lot of sense.

chad aint stupid. hes just not really into the karma stuff that the rest are. hes in one of the biggest bands in the world and gets paid a shit load to play drums. hes just living up. hes cool as fuck

he learnt from his mistakes, and hes pretty wise because of them. He was a heroine addict and in the RHCPs younger years he was a total idiot but its just the fact that he realized what the drugs did to him.

fall out boy have been making very cool pop music of late. And infinity on high is in my opinion a better and fresher sounding album than stadium arcadium. I love the chili peppers, and frusciante is a hero of mine, and i know that he wouldn't be snobbish about a band that writes such catchy pop songs with very interesting melodies, considering that someone like beyonce has been an inspiration to him in the past. (im a 23 year old guy not a teenage girl)

i cant believe john is helping out with fallout boy.. he once said that "i think the rock genre has gotten stale, rock bands dont seem to be taking that many chances." Fallout Boy is one of those stale rock artists that is defining the stale rock music today.

yeah ataxia II was recorded in 2004 he just mastered that stuff and it just came out this year. The solo album im talking about is suppose to come out in Fall but it could well end up coming out early 2008. Hes also doing ASITHOS II which definately comes out late next year

Solo X is yet to come out. We dont know the name of the album or any tracklisting. We know that it will have a classical sound to it. It hasnt leaked anywhere becasue im sure John is still recording or mastering. You sure its somehwere on the internet?
