Agreed with n73gamer. A formation flight is when all aircraft fly with a 3 foot radius of each other. Usually you choose a position; lead,1st right, 1 left or slot, and stay there. You were about 100 feet. Keep practicing.
lol sry to say that, but that wasnt even a formation flight ( i know it not easy, but put a video if ya have a nicer result^^) and normally you dont fly with afterburner, because you need to reach your partner when you are to slow. and you need a little bit of practice in landing.
