This is really a bad movie. It is not about the Alps at all. It's just about some dude. And he climbs the Eiger North Face. We've seen that before... It's absolutely not stunning or thrilling at all, but very very boring! Watch 'Nordwand' instead, it's much better!!

Dear GOD!! I saw this movie in the imax dome in san jose and it was nothing but amazing.. Im not into these types of movies but this is the exception.

I saw this at theTech Museum IMAX Dome in San Francisco. It was breathtaking! I've never been in such awe! I think having it all above me and around me in the Dome REALLY made it an unforgettable experience!! I would highly recommend checking it out.

I prefer to climb a womens body, this shit is nuts. one little mistake and its time to meet your maker or one unexpected move by nature for those that dont make mistakes and its still over. Resuers shouldnt have to risk there lives to try to rescue people that put themselves in harms way.

But that is their job. If a rescuer didn't want to be in a dangerous situation, they shouldn't have become a rescuer...

True to that. but families shouldnt get mad when a rescue search is called off because of dangerous conditions or at night fall. I think there are other ways to feel a sense of accomplishments, like earning extra 0's at the end of your bank account.

this movie is very good, but it's too much love story than monumental *imaxing*. the queen soundtrack sounds great, even when it fits not to the scenes. brian may did it well..... the quality is very bad, it *lags* because of the 24fps..... :-( no technical highlight
