  • Did E-Flite just stop making that?

  • Will the e-flite 4 site bind with a dx5e with dsm 2 ???

  • @Cameravastleggers yes it will, but you should use a radio you can do some progaming with, a DX6I or higher from spektrum.

  • I really like the small size.

  • That is just really cool

  • Will the Parkzone UM P-51's (rtf) Radio work for the 4 site?

  • @zjwflippers It will bind to it but it is not recommended. The 4-Site really needs a radio with both Expo and Dual Rate adjustment and the RTF transmitters aren't up to the task.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom what iS expo???

  • I have a problem... when I spinn the prop, the prop stops very fast. It flies well, but it does not acsellerate out of a hover very fast, it just starts to crawl its way up... is there a problem? Should I lubricate?

  • is this 3d

  • @MyCirem Yes it is.

  • Where would you recomend putting the battery so it is easiest to hover?

  • @matrobsti Proboaly in the front.

  • should i get the champ or the super cub im not sure please respond ps im a begginer and ive never had a rc plane

  • @BubbaThing The nice thing about the Super Cub is that it can handle more wind outdoors. The Champ can be flown indoors though in gyms and larger areas. If you have access to those then I'd go Champ, if you're primarily going to be outdoors then the Super Cub.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom I have both and I perfer the super cub, the super cub is also more aerobatic. All I can do wish the champ is a loop.

  • Flys great with my Spektrum DX6i

  • Im bought a 160Mah 1 cell 25C lipo which gives me over 9 min flights

I can also use the 120Mah lipos which work but with less power and around 6 min flight time

  • Can you use the 138 mah battery for the 4 site or only the 150. mAh battery?

  • @littlemisstroubleix 138mah? I'm not familiar with that. There is an E-Flite 120mAh pack that will work, you'll just have lower flight times.

  • @littlemisstroubleix you can use the 138mAH battery but you the flight time is not so long. do you mean the battery from hobbyking??

  • Hello.

I got this plane a few days ago and I am having a problem: The plane is rolling to the right (pulling to the right so I have to always use ailerons to the left to keep it straight) and I can't figure out why. I checked the flaps and they are aligned. I have also moved the battery closer to the CG because I thought that was the problem but it didn't work.

    Can someone help me??

    Thank you so much.

  • @felipesgirl35 Have you tried adjusting the aileron trim?

  • @felipesgirl35 you must trim it. If it is going to the right, then push the button on the right side of the radio to the left.

  • what are the expo and rates for this pocket rocket

  • I just got one of these two days ago and the right aileron servo didnt work. I returned it to my LHS and got another one. (PNP) I did my first 6 or so flights yesterday in my backyard. I was going to head out, but its too windy! :( And as for using the DX5e, you can hardly fly 3D planes. I think ill have to buy the 2 more batteries to fill up my 4-port charger!! It feels SLIGHTLY underpowerd, but not bad!

But... you MUST have 3D experience. You cant fly this one after the supercub! :)

  • Mine is flying like a beauty and i have done the flaps and a few guy at my flying field can go wild with it. I am not as good as them but I hope to be

  • Can you run a DX5?

  • @735joseph Technically yes, it is not the optimal solution. You're going to want to use a radio that has some sort of expo and dual rate adjustment and the DX5e just doesn't provide that.

  • mine flies soooo well, super charictaristics; thanks horizon!!!

  • What happend to the original 4-site, i was going to bu one, but I see that they are discontiued?! Awe, I want one! :(

  • I LOVE E-FLIGHT YEAH!!!

  • I really like e-flight (the mSR) is great, i have the corsair, BUT I HATE this plane, its REALLY fragile... The support DOES NOT WORK the battery life is BAD the brushed motor is UNDERPOWERD the landing gear is WEAK the foam is SOFT THIS IS THE WORS E-FLIGHT PLANE OUT THERE. (Jim, I love your vids! But this plane is not the best... Dont get me wrong, I LOVE HORIZON HOBBY!!!!)

  • No the plane

  • 4 from the box. Throttle, rudder, aileron, elevator. I've heard some have modded theirs for flaps but haven't seen this for myself as of yet.

  • how many chanels are there

  • In the DX6i? 6.

  • does the dx6i work with it

  • Yes, the DX6i works awesome with the Ultra-Micro 4-Site!

  • you will have to do some choppin an cutin' but it will work

  • Would the E-flite 250mah battery from the Tandem Rescue work in the 4-site, or is the discharge rating of the battery not enough to match the 150's 12c (the specs of the battery are not available anywhere, I even have 2 of them and it's not on the battery)? Thanks

  • The Tandem's battery is physically larger/wider and will not fit in other Ultra-Micro aircraft.

  • Well I've done a few modifications to the velcro strap on my mustang (velcro that it attaches to on the plane sits up higher) and it fits just fine. But I can understand that without modification, it would not fit in many of the other Ultra-Micro aircraft.

  • Hi, I'm a beginner, looking for an inexpensive plane that I can fly indoors and out. I was also hoping that I could get an acrobatic plane and after practicing flying it, I could fly it and slowly learn the tricks and stuff, does this airplane sound right your me?

    ~~Zikefire~~

  • I would go with a Vapor or Ember 2 if you're just starting out. I haven't had a chance to fly the new J-3 Cub yet so I don't know how that compares.

  • the ultra micro is also very easy to fly if u know the basics of how planes work and it can do some interesting acrobatics plus later u could get the 4-site airframe when u outgrow it but u cant do that with the vapor or j-3

  • how much for bnf and pnp??

  • The BNF is $169.99, the PNP is $109.99

  • Can I bind this plane with blade cx 2 trans? I got blade msr, this will be the perfect thing ever. I just get pnp or bnf?

    I CANT FLY IT OUTSIDE?

  • Yes you can.

It's so lightweight that any wind would make it very difficult to fly.

  • I must get one!!!!!!!!!!

  • I called and now they are saying January. Is this true?

  • awesome, i am so getting one

  • how hard is it to fly these? im interested in getting into 3d planes and flying

  • it is pretty difficult. you would want to start with a trainer.

  • When he appears in europe?

and I can fly outside in light wind?

  • can u use the mcx controller with it bc i have the dsm2 controller and i fly 3d with big foamies with a 4channel radio its a fm so will it work with the dsm2 transmitter bc i dont want to buy a new controller

  • Fantastic when will they be avaiable in the uk (i want one)

  • yea if i ordered mine last month will it ship on the day it said then or theday it says now, ust getting anxious for this Litttle guy thanks e-flight

  • David PAIN

  • I'm looking forward to getting this lil dude! I keep hearing the release date keeps getting pushed back and now I'm bearing mid December ? Is this true????

Thanks for the product review I always like seeing what's next from you guys...

  • hey which is easier to fly, a micro sukhoi or this one?

  • hey annother idea, a ultra micro 4d plane that has variable pitch. that would be sooo cool.

  • love it...thanks JIM, as always you make us Aussies JEALOUS!

    Ive pre ordered mine now!

  • hey you guys should make a ultra micro- blade mcp, micro collective pitch, with a brusless motor and the long throw servos, i would buy 2!!

  • Comment removed

  • Hi Jim! So when will horizon have them in stock or do they allready? Thanks, Chad Cole!

  • is the dx5e ok for this

  • Yes, but you'll probably want to use a computer radio such as the DX6i to gain the extra programming functionality.

  • no cause i have a futaba fasst radio but this needs a spktrem or a jr... what special things can u do with the computer radio that u can do with the dx5e for this plane

  • It is a long story. Basically, the computer radio lets you adjust end points, adjust variable dual rates, add or subtract exponential. Then it gets much deeper such as rudder elevator and rudder aileron mixing to make a model totally neutral (say if adding rudder control the model might roll as well, Adding a mix will compensate so that you will only get a yaw control from the rudder) The experts look good but a big part of it is how they have mixed and trimmed their model.

  • is that jim booker i have talk to u in a while how r u jim

  • thank you, i will buy the 150 batterys as well as the ones i have, just with less flight times cant wait tilol i see it at my door!, (i ordered 1)

  • cant wait to pick this one up

  • sorry i ment the batterys for the 4 site say 12c 150 mah, and the msr says 14c 120 mah, so can i use those batterys for the msr in the 4site, i know they say they dont but the numbers say they do! thanks

  • You're wanting to use the mSR packs for the 4-Site? You can always use a higher C-rated battery, just not lower. So for example if you're plane needs a 10C pack, that's the minimum you can use. The thing to remember on the 4-Site battery is that is does have a slightly higher capacity.

  • I need to know, can i use the 14c batterys for the bmsr, those say 12c, are those real numbers!!!!, also do you charge the cridit card when you order it, or wen it ships, cause i want to buy the pnp version, thank you

  • The dx6i is fine for this. wonder why you aren't mentioning it...

Whats the date on his thing?

  • Yes, DX6i is fine, as you see in the video David is trying to emphasize that the 4-Site is primarily for advanced pilots, they are targeting 3D type pilots and I thought using the 9303 and DX7 would sort of push that message a bit.

  • Jiom--we saw the sukhoi do some great things on your vid and there were "issues" on production runs that didn't quite fly like yours. Will this Bipe do what your showing??

Your products are great, just leary after the SU26

  • I have not got my hands on one yet, the one in the video is the only finished sample we have. But I have flown the UM P-51 and it performs much better out of the box, so I have pretty high expectations that this one will be "as shown". BTW, my Sukhoi is the one shown in my REVIEW vid, not the ones in the Preview. And it was "out of the box" - ok - but same performance as you guys report.

  • Can i fly with the Dx6i ,too???

    Greetz

  • All products of Horizon are great ! I want to have them all :P :D

  • very nice!

  • STOP TAKING MY FREAKIN MONEY!!! haha

  • Jim's great ! I hate HH though. They're always bringing fantastic new things out. Good web site. Good support. They don't make anything that's not really good. Arrghhh !

  • I love Jim Booker but I hate 3D. R/C flying should be for trainers & scale flying.

  • Annother thing i need, the battery says 12c discharge, t have a bmsr and that has a 14c discharge, will it work even tho they say it wont

  • This is a must have!

  • awsome will def. buy...

  • frothing on 5:24 to 5:42 OMG!

  • Wow I thought the Sukhoi was cool but not a true 3D contendor, just an aerobatic sport plane, definitely need one of these though!

  • looks like it will be better than the Sukhoi!!!

  • Really great - wow! Well done!
