  • Great opener! Razors edge is a under-rated album!

  • @McHaddawayHammer so is ball breaker................and hail caesar kicks ass

  • Brian best rock singer ever!

  • WOW EVEN BETTER LIVE.HELL YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • ARE YOU READY!!!! SWEET APPLE PIE WALKING DOWN THE STREET!....GOD SAVE THE QUEEN AND GOD BLESS AUSTRALIA!!!!!!!!!

  • It's cool seeing a fan's perspective as compared to watching Live At Donington

  • They should play this song, one of the best.

  • fucking awsome... those guys really know how to make rock n roll and turn your bain into rice

I saw the black ice world tour and I'm still trying to reconnect my neurons hahaha

best band ever, best songs ever... and 27/11/2010 best day ever...

  • i wish the brought this song back and played it live on there tours what a great song

  • They still play hard. Listen to If You Want Blood from Toronto in 2003. Malcolm jammed harder than he ever has.

  • I love this song live for some reason, lots of energy.

  • ARE YOU READY FOR A GOOD TIME!

    Love it!

  • This song is kickass! Love it live

  • love this album and this song!!!!i love AC/DC best rock band ever

  • tbh i dont give a fuck about the production of Flick of The Swich are Angus and Malcolm gettin old and there picking or whatever.

Cant we just listen to great music without boring debates?

  • was this at donnington 1991?

  • Nope, Are You Ready wasn't played at Donnington.

  • I still think they sound this good, albeit a little slower in tempo, but they still sound great. But that's your opinion,

  • No, they're all older it's physically impossible for them to sound as good as they did when they were young. Maybe you can't tell but they don't sound the same. Angus makes more mistakes because he's not as quick as he used to be.

It's not a dig at AC/DC, everyone ages. I love AC/DC but you can't fool yourself into thinking they really don't age.

  • Oh no,I can tell and notice the mistakes, but I mean they don't fuck up a lot, just every now and then. They still sound good.I didn't say they didn't age I merely meant that I consider them this good,I mean you've seen them this year I'm sure you know Angus does what he does great at his age.He seems to play Thunderstruck better now than he did at The Toronto Rocks Concert in 03'.And, yes the sound has changed, that half a step down tuning still bothers me when they play You Shook Me All Night Long

  • Well they do fuck up more often now that they're older, naturally.

And the guitars are less distorted because they don't hit the strings as hard.

They are absolutely great for their age, but Thunderstruck is a good example of how he can't pick as smoothly or hard as he used to.

  • Yeah, you're right it naturally happens, but I think they are strangely better now than they were on Stiff Upper Lip Tour. That 8 years did Brian's voice wonders and the rest of the band is kickin.Thunderstruck now to me,maybe just me,sounds....not as good as the Live At Donnington Version....but better than any version I've heard from 2000-2003.I hope they have at least 1

  • More album left in them, and maybe a Live Album. That's a lot to wish for I know, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

  • Yes, I agree they sound better than SUL. I think this is partly because of Brian's voice surgery, and also because they tuned down, giving them that darker, TRE-like sound.

One thing I don't like is that Brian is singing the Thunderstruck intro like a beat after he should be. Check out a recent video from this tour and see what I mean.

And I agree a Live album would be beyond awesome but I doubt it.

  • Well if it does happen(a Live Album) it should be fairly soon.If You Want Blood and LIVE 92' were 14 years apart and it's been 17 since LIVE 92' so we're due anytime now.I hope they do a live album, release a DVD, and Do One more studio album. Then I would be happy

  • I heard that a live album was in their deal with Sony but they switched to Columbia before that could happen.

A DVD is pretty much set in stone. Columbia wouldn't miss out on an opportunity like that.

A live CD may be something Columbia would like but the band probably wouldn't.

And I'd say another album is likely considering Mal convinced Brian to continue the tour into 2010. Besides, BI would be a pretty bad last album IMO. I don't like the production, it's too digital and compressed.

  • I believe the DVD will happen, and a Live Album maybe.I agree that Black Ice was a little over produced.I think they should kinda take a Flick Of The Switch sort of path now.You know, harder more raw but with good enough production to highlight the band not over polish them.I also think they should stick to the 10 song an album format,I understand that they felt that the 8 year gap made it necessary for 15.But that's just to many songs.I like them all but I only love about 8 of them.

  • I agree they should go with more raw production, but FOTS was still not the best production and had Brian too quiet. I think Ballbreaker was excellent production-wise. Raw, but well produced.

And I think the more songs the merrier. Extra songs wont ruin the album, and they may become some people's favorites, so I see no reason to drop songs for the sake of having a 10 song album.

  • the more acdc the better....10 songs??ppppppffftttt

  • @spartymls

    True,true,

but still 15 seems weird for their standards.

I wish it was a double album,5 more songs and that could have happened

  • the drums are inaudible on fots

  • I wouldn't go that far, but yeah, the drums aren't recorded as well as on the previous two albums. Also, I hear a weird clicking during Bedlam in Belgium and it bothers me.

  • Fucken Awesome :D

  • great song

  • If AC/DC does another world tour this would be a kick ass opening

  • They are doing a world tour right now , I saw them in Toronto and no they didn't play this song they Played Rock n Roll Train as an opening

  • I said IF they DID another world tour. lol

They are doing a 2nd american leg of the Black ice tour. it takes place in the summer in a few selected states

Im going to detroit to see them =D

  • they are doing their black ice tour

  • i know.

  • @yoshigodxxx lol theyve been on a world tour for the past 3 years

  • i love themmmmmm

  • i am going to see them a athens in 28 may

  • acdc is old there going to be gone soon thats sad :(

  • i am going to watch them in athens

  • this song as POWER written all over it!!!!PLUG THE ROCK IN!!!

  • I can't believe you turned your camera right as they come out on stage lol. Nooooooo

  • VERY NICE SCENE!!!!

  • this is a good opening song. "are you ready for a good time"?

  • BTW, if there's all these cameras recording what you see on that screen, why isn't there a pro-shot version of this concert?

  • the cameras are for the giant screens...

  • So? They can still record it. You're telling me they just play the video on those screens and never record it?

  • They have lots of concerts, they can't record every single one....

    AC/DC rocks!!!!

  • Yeah they can, Pearl Jam does (audio at least).

  • well.. they can record it but they won't put every concert for sale as a LIVE Disc, for example..in the black ice tour they're having about 4 concerts in a week...imagine all the dvds they would have..

  • They don't have to sell them internationally, they can just sell them after the shows.

Or they can keep them for collections like "Plug Me In".

  • yeah they do good ones, like donington

  • Why would they record every concert?

maybe the first or last concerts or festivals but not just some show!

  • Surprising how good this song is considering it's anonymous name, don't you think?

  • AC/DC rocks! This song is very underrated

  • I agree. AC/DC has tons of underrated songs. Great band.

  • yeah like back in business from fly on the wall

  • I like stuff from Blow Up Your Video. I wish they played Ruff Stuff and Nick of Time, but they don't play any song from the time Phil Rudd wasn't in the band, except Thunderstruck, of course!

  • They play Heatseeker at Donnigton and Who Made Who. Simon Wright was the drummer then.

  • Well...let me tell you...Chris Slade is not Phil Rudd.....that's why they played those songs in Donnington.

  • Chris Slade isn't Phil Rudd.. true but still Slade is a great drummer! He did an awesome gig at Donington :)

  • that was not the point .....the point was the songs they play. They are both great drummers, for sure. The only song Phil Rudd performs from the time he was absent is Thunderstruck....all the other songs were recorded with him.

Nobody can play Let There Be Rock or Whole Lotta Rosie like him. Chris Slade fills too much and that's why AC/DC's drummer will always be Phil Rudd.

  • Ok ;) Yeah I know that :) AC/DC's drummer is Phil Rudd and will always be ;) But if he quit the band for some reason I think Slade would be the best to take his place :)

  • if he quits the band there won't be AC/DC anymore

  • Comment removed

  • are you ready

i like it but you can not test ac/dc`s let me put my love in to you, kl

  • Best band ever!!!! ACDC completely ruuuulzzzz.... I got chills in my neck just when i heard brian johnson's voice.... I dream to go to an acdc concert!!

  • i love it when just before a concert it goes all pitch black

  • rare footage of Are You Ready live, thanx for the upload. Wish they played this song more during the Razors Edge tour.

  • you know, I get so pissed when I see people that says that Bon would been better and so on. first of all, we will never find out hey. It was not after Brian Johnson came in and ac/dc made Back in black, they got their great breakthrough. Brian has done so much for ac/dc, so save your negative comments of Brian!!!!

  • Great comment - spot on! Stop givin Brian a hard time, he's fantastic!

  • i agree! brians done well with what he's been given. he is a good singer! i think the only reason people dont like brian. is because they are still bitter about bon's death. which is understandable, i wish he was still acdc's front man. he was genuine and amazing but so is brian. I think brian has done really well. and should get the respect he deserves. and people should accept that bon is gone. although it is hard. i find it hard to listen to ''ride on'' without feeling sad. R.I.P bon scott

  • necktwister i agree with ya...bon was a bit better but i am taking shit away from brian....hes also fuking amazing and i love almost every album they both brought out so dont talk shite abt brian being shite he has pioneered ACDC for over 20 great years.

  • How come this version sounds so weird? It's like Brian is singing, but not as himself....

  • i honestly think both Chris Slade and Phil Rudd are excellent with AC/DC. i would be happy with either of the two. BUT, i must admit phil rudd's style has been a major part of the Rhythm part of AC/DC for a long time and so i think people have just gotten used to his sound. taking nothing away from chris slade! hes an unbelievable drummer and was great with AC/DC

  • Getting rid of Chris Slade was a good move I think. Not that he isn't a good drumer, just not good for ac/dc.. thats my opinion.. but still a great band!!!

  • best line up

    Vovals: Brian Johnson

    Lead Giutar: Angus Young

    Rythum Giutarist: Malcolm Young

    Bass: Cliff Williams

    Drums: Phil Rudd

    thats AC/DC, nothing else

  • Well, Bon Scott ahead of Brian Johnson.

  • lets c u sing better fag

  • You call YOURSELF an AC/DC fan. Sad.

  • Nah, I believe Cliff's a better bassist then Mark Evans, besides he got so bad on drugs he attacked Malcolm which is why he's no longer in the band, that and the fact Malcolm hated him.

  • I agree the band sounded best on The Razor's Edge tour. Getting rid of Chris Slade was a bad move though, even if it was purely to get Phil back for the "Original" lineup. Slade was by far the best drummer they had and in my opinion one of the best drummers around.

  • The best lineup would be:

    Vocals: Bon Scott

    Lead guitar: Angus Young

    Rhythm guitar: Malcolm Young

    Bass: Mark Evans

    Drums: Chris Slade

  • cliff is the best bassest acdc has ever seen

  • No way! Mark had way more precise riffs!

Cliff is only a basic bassist...

  • Actually cliff williams is a better bassist that mark evens because he was playing for 12 years before he joined the band and mark evans played for only 2 years before he joined the band. Ok, the thing about the precise riffs is right, but I bet that cliff williams can play better the bass than he actually plays in AC/DC

  • You posted this comment a year ago but I really don't care.

Yes, the bass in Squeler was great, but listen to Love Hungry Man, Rock Your Heart Out, Gimmie a Bullet, Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll...the list goes on.

    Cliff is better

  • BTW, Chris Slade kicked ass on drums. I was on the floor in front of the speakers and those drums were solid! Phil is good too, but he didn't seem to hit them as hard or as sharp as Slade. Slade was like a fucking jackhammer in 1991. It's a wonder he those heads lasted more than one night!

  • I saw them in December 1991, in Cedar Rapids with Love/Hate. They rocked. Probably the last great concert of theirs. I saw them in Madison, Wi. years later for the Ballbreaker tour and they didn't have quite the energy. They still seemed young and full of energy on this tour.

  • ysalute you!and specially 21 guns salute to Brian for he's birthday(yesterday)!!!!!!LONG LIVE BRIAN!

  • this one for all the ACDCmaniacs in the world, who r waiting so long for new AC/DC stuff!!!!! the dvd its only the begining....!!!!!! are you ready for a good time...?I SALUTE YOU!!!!!!

  • I SALUTE YOU !!!

    xD

  • I heard a rumour (and it probly is just that!) but I heard its going to be called 'Gotta be Perfect'

  • angus's live tone in the 90's was amazing

  • y...?it's a gr8 title,it's 'bout sex,so will be gr8!

  • I hope not... Strap it on sounds like a Dildo

  • rumors said that the new album will call "strap it on",but i duno for sure

  • No I heard Brian say on an interview that it was just a rumor.

  • yeah, the new album will released in january 08,we hope that's not just rumors.

  • I heard there new album coming soon.. early 08 maybe

  • Ya, I heard January '08. So if that is true, we should hear SOME news sometime! BTW, This video kick's ass!

  • i read in guitar world magazine a few days ago that a dvd of rare unreleased bon and brian live material is coming out in october, then a new album very early in 08. brian johnson also called in to the rolling stone magazine and told them about a new album early in 08 so yeah new album woo!

  • Awesome! I just read that particulary Article in the Wal-mart book section yesterday!!! lol YAY

  • yeah man im so excited. me, my dad, and my friend are gonna go to the closest AC/DC concert for my birthday.

  • ...are you ready for a good time?then get ready for new album!!!!!!!!comments for this?ha!ac/dc's history is bigger then me,so....FUCKING GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!see them on tour,oh well,I hope so!
