  • I called my shiny charizard reaper/

  • any one wanna battle

  • why did you go for a third protect when you would of done a blizzard and end the game

  • you do realize that blizzard gets 100 accuracy when in a hail storm right?

  • @SilverTheHedgehog090 Yes, I do.

  • BITCH

  • Why solarbeam on abomasnow

  • @SuperMexicanfood For use in conjunction with Nidoking's Sunny Day.

  • what in the FUCK in kangaskhan doing?

  • @SourLemon121 Where?

  • @Overhazard like with her arms and with her kid and stuff...

  • @SourLemon121 Well, what did you expect would happen?

  • why did you keep using protect with abo? you could just have used blizzard and kill them in one hit. i could understand the first protect but after that i thought it was a bit stupid

  • @sponsi1000 The reason why, towards the end there, was to hold off Jumpluff and that Sleep Powder, as well as Roserade and those Sludge Bombs.

  • what do u use to record PBR the cuality is awesome

  • @Luima10 A video capture device.

  • The thumbnail made be say to myself:

"Did OHazard get a Shiny Groudon, did he get a Sandshrew, or did hit Ditto transform?"

    xD

  • imposible, hacked pokemon canot enter in PBR, or if they do it, returns in bad egg shape.

  • @9ALDO Some manage to bypass the hack filter if they're clever enough. There are still limits to what they can do though.

  • @Overhazard yes, someday, the cheaters will fall and the honest trainers will rule....

  • That Return move was wack

  • i like how kanghaskhan's belly jiggled when it fainted

  • LOVE MINUTE : 2:32

  • 03:59: If you look closely, shiny Charizard's colour is dark blue instand of black in this game.

  • Shiny Groudon :D

  • does ditto's stats transform into groudon's too or does it stay the same?

  • @hypersonicchaos12 Yes, Ditto takes on the stats of the Pokémon it copies, including stat changes.

  • till Groundon LOOKS AWEson in POKEMON BR

  • lol ditto is like LIIIIIIIIMBOOOOO!!!!! !XDXDXD

  • Kind of lame how you ended the battle by stalling. Knowing the fact that you cannot use protect many consecutive times. Should of just used blizzard to knock out both of the pokemon. You could of won if you did that.

  • how come, all of the girls pokemon were shiney?

  • @622Phillies Most likely, that was the result of a popular Action Replay code that makes all of the Pokémon shiny.

  • I'm guessing you kept protecting to hopefully have hail take roserade out?

  • wow, you were lucky it woke up right after it was put to sleep. If I had been in your position and known that would happen I would have had it use blizzard, to hopefully knock them both out.

  • U shouldve used blizzard at 0:43

  • how come roserade has weather ball...?

  • @DowntownEdwin This was likely the randomly assigned move. I do get to take advantage of it though, turning weather against some trainers.

  • @DowntownEdwin i think it was sludge bomb

  • Does anyone else think that Kangaskahn's KO animation is kinda disturbing? How it twitches and shakes :(

  • what's nidoking's ability and how it works?

  • @haunterandgengar This Nidoking has Rivalry. It causes Nidoking's Attack to go up against Pokémon of the same sex and down against Pokémon of the opposite sex.

  • Thumbs up if you want a move that is special with the same effect as Return and one with the same as Frustration.

  • It's Asian Groudon

  • @gdjgkdg lmao

  • you are so stoupid you should have used stone at charizard

  • would sux if u catch a poke in a game that u want 2 make fysical but it was no atk IV xDD and u don't even know it :P

  • You did extremely well seeing that the opponent used groundon + charizard, two OU pokemon

  • @sapphyreseraph Groudon is in Ubers, meaning it's considered too strong for competitive play. Charizard is, in fact, in UU on Smogon because of its huge vulnerability to Stealth Rock.

  • @Overhazard nod, OU has become synonymous with overused in general, meaning way too many people use it xD But yeah, in tier classification it would in fact be UBER and UU. I find smogon tiers are basically for ultra obsessed fighters. Charizard is used in the slightly more casual field more than UU would suggest. Mostly because everyone wants a dark charizard xD You still did extremely well :)

  • Valla Overhazard , veo que nunca usas legendarios ubers si no que usas pokemons casi olvidados y demuestras que son poderosos como ninun otro pokemon, muy buena batalla

  • i want this game it looks fun is it fun

  • You should rent it first. It's not for everybody.

  • @Overhazard when ditto transfromed, all of the moves on groudon where all 5 why?

  • @chugawillis This is a trait of using Transform: All moves' PPs are reduced to 5 if they're higher than that.

  • Okay, a quick question. It's not completely vital for me to know, but I just want to.

When a Pokemon has maxed out its EVs and I use a rare candy, it gains stat points. Are these stat points completely random? Where do they come from? I just want to know what determines rare candy points.

Because today when candying my Skuntank to Level 100, I got some awesome points from candying it, and it isn't even EV trained that much.

So are they just random, or what?

  • Rare Candy points are determined by the Base Stats of a Pokémon, the EV points, and the IV points. Base Stats determine which stats will be higher than others (for instance, your Skuntank probably has a higher Attack than Special Attack). EV points you already know, and IV points are randomly distributed.

Your Skuntank probably has pretty high IVs all around. Consider yourself lucky as the odds are pretty low for that.

  • Cool, thanks for explaining that to me.

  • @ToxicTurquoise454 First of all you might be confusing ev trained with normally ev trained. Just because you haven't ev trained it doesn't mean it hasn't gained lots of evs. Generally when not specifically eving for a stat, you end up with rounded stats, but maybe you accidentally ended up fighting more pokemon that gave 1 ev in a certain stat with skuntank. Secondly, when something has evs and ivs, you might get 0, 1, 0, 1, 39 in a stat. It's pretty chaotic WHEN you'll receive ev/iv points.

  • @sapphyreseraph Ok, I appreciate the help, but that post was 4 months ago, I've moved beyond that now. I know pretty much everything about how to EV train now. My Skuntank ended up with 402 HP. (Yes, I know it isn't Skuntank's max, I just don't like maxing out stats, I just like making them really high but leaving enough EVs to help weaker stats. It's just my way. Maxing out stats takes too long)

  • @ToxicTurquoise454 you now whi becuse the nature of the skuntank ndetermines the points is speed special atk special def defence and atk

  • damn that was harsh, shouldve used poison job to KO that other grass type

  • You got robbed blind in that battle. If nidoking's fire punch was a critcal hit on jumpluff you would've won the battle. Still good battle none the less lol.

  • いいいい

  • 2:33 FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!

  • Hi when do you think your next pass will be made?

  • I don't know. You'll have to be patient though.

  • Is it in the works? or do you have any idea about wat you will put on there?

  • It's in progress right now.

  • Cool! Im excited to see what awesome and unique pokemon you put into it!

  • I don't mean to be offensive, but how does the Anton Pass work in tandem with all of your Pokemon.

Your team seems to have a tough time setting up its strategy.

For instance, Ditto would need more protection/support from being K.O.ed too quickly.

  • Each pass works as a standalone team. If you're referring to Ditto specifically, Ditto carries a Quick Powder, allowing it to use Transform before my opponents do anything to its 48-base defenses. You underestimate Ditto if you think it normally sits there taking attacks. Ditto does a lot of attacking in this team.

  • wow, this was a fun battle....loves it

  • The first thought I had as I saw this video was "When did Overhazard get a shiny Groudon?" And then I realized that you are using a Ditto.

  • Oh ok sorry then

  • MAN without this stupid jumpluff and it's sleep powder you would've won

  • Is it just me or does a shiny groudon look like a sandshrew?

  • I wonder how Kangaskhan can continue fighting if its baby keeps on slipping out of the mother's pouch? I guess that baby must have a rock-hard head or can recover quickly from a fall or something.

  • come on overhazard you can do it.

  • As a person who hacks, I'll just say that I don't think its an issue as long as people have a little integrity. I realize that it's lazy, but I keep my IVs pretty random (never more than one IV over 25), and I follow all of the breeding rules (incompatible egg moves, etc).

Action replay is just a way of getting what you want faster. The metagame isn't about raising Pokemon, it's about the strategy involved. That's part of the reason why netbattle came about: it's just plain convenient.

  • could u do something for me in pokemon if u hack to get pokemon u want?

  • No, because 1) I've switched to a Mac at college, which can't run Action Replay, 2) I have no wi-fi in dorms, only a wired connection, and 3) it's a process to hack.

If you want something, I suggest asking for Christmas, because it will save you time. Otherwise, the old fashioned way is fine- if a little longer.

  • If you're using a MacBook, there is a way to make it transmit wireless signals using AirPort, as long as you've connected it through an Ethernet cable. I believe the desktops can do it too.

This is what I did to play online at college.

  • Wait, you mean use the Macbook to create wifi?

    What? Really?

  • HOLY SHIT

    THANK YOU

  • That was a very good use of Weather Ball by the opponent... I just love it when attacks fit in at the most random moments, not to mention it looked so pretty...

I was really hoping you would have gotten rid of Jumpluff first, because of Sleep Powder. Very close though.

  • "I think it has the best win ratio of all of my passes so far."

Well it's also the newest, so wouldn't the ratio be skewed due to a smaller number of matches?

also IMMOLATED BY BLAST BURN i luv u announcer

man that was a close battle

  • Oh Ok I record from webcam but my graphics are not too good

  • You should of used Blizzard at the end but anyway how did you get those good graphics

  • What are you talking about? I just record.

  • why does abomasnow have solar beam???

  • oh, just saw sunny day on nido

ive seen u use this pass before, but i only just realised how weird it was now. Still though, surprise plays a big part in battles, espically NU/UU

  • I wonder why Groudon didn't use flamethrower on Abomasnow? It wouldn't have mattered because of the focus sash, but passing up a 4x effective move for a 2x effective move doesn't make sense. Anyway, this pass is awesome, and great battle.

  • I agree. Besides Stone Edge is less accurate than Flame Thrower (Stone Edge has 80 for accuracy compared to 100 with Flame Thrower).

  • cool batal, you were lucky to pull of those protects for a while!

  • close battle

  • Why does Nidoking have sunny day?

  • to make his fire punch more powerfull and to let abomasnow use solarbeam

  • Shiny Grouden looks so pretty and......gold....XD

  • What id that a glitch because when my ditto tranfoms into a shiny it's not shiny

  • well than is your ditto weird :S

  • if so then my friends and my other friend and my other friends my friends and my other friend and my other friends my friends and my other friend and my other friends my friends and my other friend and my other friends ditto is weird also?> is that what your telling me?

  • Maybe.........XD

  • who knows

  • Wait a second. Isn't the Focus Sash the item that lets your Pokemon survive a fainting blow? Or am I thinking of a different item? If it is, then Abomasnow should've survived the Sludge Bomb! What the heck!

  • Focus Sash only works when the Pokémon holding it still has full health, which Abomasnow didn't have.

  • I'm surprised he didn't use Flamethrower against your Abomasnow....also that Jumpluff is surprisingly slow...

I never said it before but wouldn't Megahorn be a better option over Poison Jab? I mean, it does the same amount of power and despite the accuracy drop, it does but the hurt on Grass and Psychic types.

    Pretty unfortunate loss.

  • it hurts water grass and psychic btw

  • It doesn't go Super effective on water types...

  • I think the opponent didn`t EV trained Jumpluff in Speed because it`s faster then everybody without boosting Speed + Chlorophyll. Great battle Overhazard. I LOVE THAT YOU HAVE 3 WEATHEREFFECTS IN ONE PASS!

    5/5

  • The accuracy drop is what scares me away from it. 70% accuracy to me is more like 50% accuracy.

  • One of mine has it, but he's banded. So I never use it anyway.

  • Got it. I was just stating but you keep it up!

  • Ah, close one

  • I probably shouldn't be commenting here, but I couldn't help notice how uneased you were when selecting your moves! Its as if your mind were elsewhere.

  • It was probably the fever.

  • Ö.ö

  • As long as you don't hack Pokemon with insane stats or impossible-to-have abilities, they're useable. I've Pokesaved as a last resort when the breeding got really annoying.

  • I thought hacked pokemon get blocked from online play? :/ How come he has so many shinies? he must be really lucky to get all those shinies :p

  • legally hacked pokemon can be used ( the game examines the stats and the abilities)

  • Well aye i know that, I used pokesav with all proper stats, abilities, non shiny, legal location, etc and it still didn't work

  • Try breeding them all to save the trouble but maybe it's the EVs and IV input. Did you accidently put more EVs than you were supposed to?

  • I've used pokesav for years... i've never made a mistake.

  • Well, then you'll just have to get the Pokemon like in the game instead of PokeSav them and just nab the codes that edit their IVs and EVs.

  • you should have used blizzard

  • I don't know why people are all over the shinies. His Gengar certainly wasn't...and from what I could tell, neither was his Shiftry. I know people with lots more than just 4 (and I'd appreciate the wealth being passed my way ^.^).

I like the look of Weather Ball in the Hail. That little snowflake inside the ball with all the colors around it is really neat. Your opponent took advantage of the weather YOU caused. That was well-played.

Great battle for both sides. ^.^

  • Yeah, Charizard would've been the better pick. Still, I love the fact that your Abomasnow was practically made to be used in the sun.

  • In retrospect, hitting Charizard after Blast Burn provided for a heavier hit on Groudon from Blizzard. (Or is the damage split from those moves in double battles not present in 4th gen, I kinda forgot)

  • The damage isn't halved but multiplied by 0.75 for each Pokémon the attack hits in Generation IV games. It doesn't matter if the move affects all the Pokémon besides the user (Discharge) or only both opponents (Muddy Water).

  • Hi guys!! I believe, most "reasonably good skilled trainers" would argue that hacking defeats the purpose of actually playing the game for the challenges and experiences it has to offer. This opponent is either really lucky or gutless

  • All shiny- he must have impeccable luck!

  • Or be really good at Pokeradar Chaining or RNG abuse.

Or he just hacked. (but I hope not)

  • I seem to notice that all shiny Pokemon I come across in PBR are hacked; though I would be a little insulted if someone claimed my shiny Ditto was...

  • Charizard was the much better choice due to the typage.
