Present EU and North America are the same as the Communism and also like Christianity, Islam and even Judaism who are run by few men who are consider as gods, and the rest just follow as sheep without knowing that they are all as gods because God is in every human being and they all must decide together what is best idea and thing to do, by chosing the best from all ideas of the sheep and not just a few sheep who play as bellsheep or sheperd or dog, lion or wolves etc
@bigun89 Maybe Glenn should, too. I know he's a Mormon apostate, but he's got to know Jesus hung out with drunks sinners and hookers and told rich people to give all their shit away to the poor.
Jesus had nothing against being wealthy. He had issues with people being wealthy and not generous. Also Jesus had this thing about freewill and supporting it. Passing laws which force people to pay higher taxes to give to the poor isn't freewill.
Jesus healed the sick and gave comfort by forgiving the sinner's sins, but last time I checked, he mostly sat and ate with his disciples.
May I remind you, all books concerning space travel remained in the fictional portion of the library until the first space shuttle successfully launched back in 1942. Just something to think about, take care.
@bigun89 It's only dangerous to those too weak to control their own destinies. It's an excellent way of thinking for those who have no desire to be controlled by the government or religion.
And Thelema and Satanism are not the same thing. The Holy Books of Thelema have nothing to do with Satanism. Actual Satanism is non-theistic whereas Thelema is Pantheistic.
Read The Holy Books of Thelema by Alestier Crowley and The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey. There's a BIG difference between the two.
Good show but we are not bricks and we are not stones also but beings, special universes and unlimited beings because God is inside us and tell the rabbi to know that too. EU and Big Government must not decide in its own with few people on top but ask all the people what to do because they are beings with god inside and not stones and bricks, materials Glenn. EU and USA must keep this in mind so they dont turn to a structure as Communism. They are in that road ruled by brick or block stone heads
Tell Glenn to make a show about the minimum wage as he did for payments of congres; America can be fixed if the government will make minimum wage $20 hr and 4 hrs per day work shift. People can work many shifts and jobs the wish, but they will be all employed and wealth shared and business will boom again and life rebirth there. There is no other way to fix America, not with left and right games
I see the point that he made in this episode about the parallels between the Tower of Babel and the EU, but the notion that people require Biblical education to see what's happening and to know what not to do is insulting.
The World got along just fine (often better) up until about 1700 years ago, WITHOUT Christianity. The Persian and Roman Empires did fine until the spread of Christianity, which eventually destroyed the Roman Empire.
Secular civilizations are naturally more prosperous.
@lordvin9 Except for the fact that it is a historical fact that Greece destroyed the Pursian empire & the Romans caused their own down fall through their own opulance. & niether sociaties were secular but actually pagan.
@GlennRoxWyo The Roman Empire collapsed after the Council of Nicea. It was the influence of an intolerant religion that HELPED bring it down. It wasn't the sole cause, but a major influence. Corruption (not opulence) was also a cause.
And the Roman Empire WAS for all practical purposes secular. They based their laws off of reason, not religion. Religion wasn't enforced by law, thus, they were secular. The Persian Empire under Xerxes also did not enforce a state religion.
@lordvin9 I'd also like to point out that Xerxes allowed nations conquered nations to keep their own religions, leaders, etc. That was why people regarded him as a liberator instead of a conqueror or tyrant.
Because of this minimalist and secular worldview, for a while the Persian Empire was literally a stable worldwide Government.
There is no stability in Government without Secularism.
Early America functioned so well because of Secularism. Read about the Treaty with Tripoli, drafted by George Washington:
"As the Government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion - and as the said states have never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by both parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption in the harmony existing between the two countries."
@lordvin9 The Roman Epire collapsed because the people gave up their freedom to the ceasers & cared nothing about anything but having their games & what not all the while their slaves the Goths cut off the supplies they were giving them & the Empire fell. Corruption, opulance potato/ patato. & again Rome was a PAGAN sociaty that's what all their games were about. The ceasers gave them those games to appease the masses & stay in power. Enforcement of a religion wasn't the arguement.
@GlennRoxWyo A Pagan society with a SECULAR government. I wasn't saying that Rome was a society of Atheists, although they didn't take the religion literally like Christians do. I was saying that religion wasn't mixed up with the government and laws. They kept them separate.
And all of what you described happened after the Roman Empire turned Catholic. It was AFTER they got rid of secular government that things fell apart.
@lordvin9 I didn't say you said they were atheists you implied it. & they encured the guidence of their gods in the senate. 2nd they had gods for everything, even personal patron gods. It's common knowledge to any1 who tries to study which obviously you haven't. & again you're wrong even making it up about the Catholic thing. What I've is real history. I'm finished you.
@GlennRoxWyo You've been very predictable with this argument. You say I implied something which I didn't, you sidetrack by mentioning that they had gods for everything (I never said they didn't) & you close with two personal attacks & some posturing.
All this after less than five exchanges.
You don't have "real history," you, like any Christian, are letting your religion skew your knowledge of history. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
@GlennRoxWyo So there's no confusion, the two personal attacks were:
"It's common knowledge to any1 who tries to study which obviously you haven't. & again you're wrong even making it up about the Catholic thing."
Any four year old can call someone a liar. TRY HARDER.
"I've finished you."
No, actually, you haven't. You're trying to talk tough because I've insulted your imaginary god, and instead of carrying on an intelligent conversation like an adult, you've resorted to ego posturing.
@lordvin9 you haven't backed up anything so "liar" (which I didn't use, you should try actually addressibg the actual comment) is some what fitting. & I have finished you although what I meant to write was "I've finished with you."
@GlennRoxWyo I've backed up my claims as much as you've backed up yours. There are character limits here. What are YOUR sources exactly? And don't say something to the effect of it being common knowledge.
Common knowledge is colored by common opinion, so that people conveniently forget about the damage that Abrahamic religions do to civilizations.
And I did address your comments. I QUOTED you. If you're done that's fine, but it looks more like you don't have an answer & are running away.
@lordvin9 I love history discussions, so i am going to put my two sense into it and would love to debate this. Religion had nothing to do with the fall of the Roman Empire. In my opinion, it was corruption, and personal advancement of the eastern emperor over the western one. Also, when the empire was split into two parts, the richest part was in the east. The Western part fall because the Western Emperors didn't have the money to pay for the defences. Relying on barbarian leaders and troops
@GlennRoxWyo When exactly did Greece destroy the Persian Empire? Last I checked the Persians slaughtered the Spartans and Athenians.
Anyway, if they did, what's your point?
MY point was that two historical governments covering what was, at the time, the entire civilized world, were most prosperous and grew the most by not intertwining religion and law. Being SECULAR governments (as opposed to Atheocracies.)
@lordvin9 The Spartan battle at the hot gates was a deversion. They slaughtered the Persian navy. My point is obvious Christians didn't do it. & Again it wasn't secular, it never will be no matter how many times you say it. They called on & even believed their gods gave them their system of government.
@GlennRoxWyo Well I never said that Christians destroyed the Persian Empire, and what I said about the Roman Empire was that the influence of Christianity contributed to it's fall.
Rome was roughly 1000 years old when it fell. Christianity was established as official religion in 325 c.e., and in 476 c.e. the empire collapsed.
It lasted for a millennium and then about 150 years after Christianity became the official religion it collapsed. Do you think this is a coincidence?
@lordvin9 Now you're back peddling on your statements. So now you didn't say it. Give us a break. Christianity replaced polytheism in Rome after the powerfull ceasers were already taken down the way I mentioned before er go Christianity destroyed nothing.
@lordvin9 The comments are right on page & any1 including you can read them. I don't need the exact words because any1 can see them. I have miss quoted you, I havn't quoted you at all. Dates dates dates. You make yourself look even more stupid with this 1. It fell That is to The Roman Empire under the ceasors was gone before the rise of the Roman Catholic church. I don't even know what I'm doing wasting my time arguing with a paid commenter. I've already said I'm done with you.
@GlennRoxWyo Nice sidestepping. Yes, dates, dates, dates. They PROVE things. Do you watch Glenn Beck at ALL? My expectations for an argument are the same as his.
And I AM NOT a paid commentator. If you read other comments I've made on his shows you'd see that.
I'm actually a big fan of his, but we disagree sharply on religion. Christianity is just as bad for a civilization as Socialism. It's not a viable alternative, it's just another system that strangles a culture.
@GlennRoxWyo Also, who said that every fan of Glenn Beck has to be a Christian? The whole reason I'm here commenting is so that people will read it and see the holes in that logic.
The idea that all of his fans are Christians keeps lots of intelligent, useful people away from him. You wouldn't believe how many sensible people who are otherwise on the same page won't even watch his show because he's saying 'Socialism or Christianity'. That kind of thinking will destroy this nation.
@lordvin9 "Also who said any fan of Glenn Beck has to be a Christian?" ??. well obviously you just did. You're the only 1 who brought that up. Nice chaning the subject ploy but it didn't work. "That kind of thing will destroy his network". How since he's #1 in radio & his FOX show has never dropped below 3rd. You really show your desperation in this comment. Sorry you're never going to turn any1 away from Christianity & Beck won't & doesn't owe it to you to stop with it, it's HIS show.
@GlennRoxWyo I did not say "That kind of thing will destroy his network." I said "That kind of THINKING will destroy this NATION." I didn't say the word "Network" even one time. The difference is HUGE. "His network" is obviously very secure, for which I am very glad. This NATION, however, is being crippled by Christianity, just like the Roman Empire was.

Christianity was made official religion in 325 c.e.
The Roman Empire fell in 476 c.e., 151 years later.
WHY do you think it lasted for over 800 years and the collapsed 151 years after Christianity was introduced???
If Christianity is such a great system, then why did the Roman Empire CRASH so QUICKLY when it went Christian???
Here's the original question.
Do you have an answer yet?
