That was 3 years ago with a bad wall wart power supply :) And as you see it ain't a real project on a PCB. Check out my other projects if you want. I don't see a project of your own on your page ;)
Hello,it is really amazing and interesting what you have done,am new to ultrasonic sensor, can you send me your code,am using a PIC16F877 with a 4 MHz crystal instead of PIC16F877A i need to understand how it works,
Yes you can... HYDRA uses the same system for navigation. The one I made is precise to a cm, but I think you can do better than that if you tweak it. The SRF05 is a module with its own MCU, and it uses 40KHz pulses.
hi technoshamanarchist, i m currently doing this sonar project oso, n i would like to add another pair of ultrasonic sensor like urs, but i face some problem in my code. Can u plz send ur code n ur circuit to me for reference? Thx u 1st!
Thansk, but this was not a project, just testing the SRF's. Messasge me your e-mail, and I'll send you the code for it... you don't need that much of a hardware as long as you own one of these modules...
Well, in college i studies about pic mcu and its architecture but we did really go indepth. So, it has been 3 years now since last studied pic. But i did most of the programming in asm. And ya i would appreciate if you can send me tutorials on how to program in c and anything that u think will be helpful. :) cheers!!!
Most E-Engineers agree that unless you're gonna pregram a missile guidance system, C is as good as ASM, and saves you a lotta time and hair on your head :P I dunno how experienced you're with PIC's, but it'd be a pleasure to help you if you decide to program in Hitech PIC C.
Do you still having the Code for it?

The LCD LED is fading when your hand is in proximity to the sensor, you need MORE POWEEERRR

Hi
U can measure distance with ur sonar system? What accuracy does it have? what frequency do u use for ultrasound?
greets

Can you please test whether you can not only detect the distance to your hand but also to a thin foil, e.g some general plastic foil

Yes, anything from a tin box to a live cat :P

Nice, i do my stuff with asm though :). Im working on a project [IR rx and tx] so far i got my lcd initialized .. :*(
farad007 4 years ago
sweet project! did u use assembler or c coding?
farad007 4 years ago
Thanks :) Too lazy for assembly, and Hitech PIC C (ANSI C) is pretty low level anyway...
