Except for the fact that Dan Deacon isn't in the least bit chiptune. There is nothing about his equipment or sound that would result in him being labeled as chiptune.

@LemonTartProductions eh? sure, he doesn't sound like rob hubbard, but he did a lot of sinewave compositions (breast cake penis sleeve, goose on the loose) and that sort of thing back before he became the jeff mangum of bad ripoffs of 90s kitsch. and a lot of his music sounds pretty heavy on the fm synths, but maybe I'm just biased (adlib <3) in calling that chiptune

yeah, thats one opinion ... Deacon has known Roche for since Purchase and has had a real influence on Deacon's work and Deacon's work on Roche's work ... this video is more of an homage then anything else. Its cool, but its not authentic.
