  • Voix sublime. Chanson sublime.

  • were can i get this song?

  • how absolutely beautiful and spiritual this is.

  • "naked, mostly with fire"

  • This looks fun , what is it though, and where is it placed

  • Do you have to be naked? I'm really self conscious. Lol good song reminds me of Brian boru's march

  • @torrentXofXdarkness You do not have to be naked. Everything is about how you feel, if something doesnt feel right, dont do it! We have our instincts for a reason. Everything about being pagan is doing what you feel and discovering things as they are true for you.

  • @ABookwormAndProud Thank you for putting a smile on my face; May the Holy Forces, the Goddess and the God, watch over you for your strength and wisdom!

  • If I may interject into the conversations about astral projection...I have seen the roof of my house, walked miles down the local roads, and even astrally traveled through history to places i've been in the past; THAT was nuts...I was sleeping in my pickup truck, and levitated in the projection, came back to myself, and felt a tingle up and down all of my spine, after hearing the shattering of glass. Know that by the God and Goddess that I am not lying and CANNOT make this up...

  • @andrewames247 Wow :). Sounds fun :D

  • @celticbattleaxe It WAS fun...but a bit disorienting when I came to...how do you perceive astral projection? How does it make you feel?

  • @andrewames247 Hmmm...that's a little hard to describe, but I felt as though my senses were heightened. It felt a bit different than feeling the normal body - it's hard to describe. The experience is also a little different with every person, because every person has a different vibration. It also takes different brain frequencies for that to happen for different people. But when you astral project, your brain produces alpha waves, because alpha wave indicate that the brain is in

  • @andrewames247 a highly focused and altered state. Deep meditation also produces alpha waves.

The really cool part is looking at an fMRI scan of a person's brain when they produce alpha waves. Then you understand why many Pagans associate the skull as the 'spirit house'. But because your senses are heightened, your thoughts are magnified. This is why you can travel ANYWHERE in the multiverse (not universe) in the blink of an eye - or at the speed of thought :).

  • @celticbattleaxe I know my Name...I've seen the Akashic Records; wisdom for the taking. And I've always said, Thought is the fastest vehicle in the Multiverse...because even though electrical impulses in your brain cannot travel faster than Light, a trained being can be ANYWHERE and anyWHEN in an Instant...speed of light, my eye! Blessed Be! )O(

  • @andrewames247 You've seen them? Wow! :)

Well, we all have seen them, but we forget. We go there every time we dream and we record information in massive books.

Oh yeah! The heck with 'the speed limit in the universe is 186,000 miles per second!'

    Poor Einstein! :D

    Blessed be times Three! )O( )O( )O( /l\

    ~ Bréinann

  • @celticbattleaxe This is how I remember them; from a birds-eye view, they were just floating in the gulf of space...you could see over and around the walls, and within...well, you could find anything...There was only one entrance, and it WAS guarded. I perceived the guardians as 8 foot tall stone statues that were immobile until I came close. They then came to life and told me what I needed to use as a "library card"; my True Name. Needless to say, that took me a while to learn.

  • @andrewames247 :) Sounds interesting. I never got that far in Astral projection.

  • @celticbattleaxe And of course...Heed ye Flower, Bush, and Tree, and by the Lady, Blessed Be! )O(

  • @andrewames247 Where have I heard that before?

    I can't remember :).

    Blessed be times Three! )O( )O( )O( /l\

  • As a Wiccan/Pagan, I have performed, watched, danced, at several Beltane Fire Fest, while these are not for everyone, I admit, those who would do so, without judgement, and with Honor to the old ways, are welcome. There is just something about a few dozens mostly naked folks dancing with fire that is spell binding!

  • @Kalirain :D For me, it's the dancing. When I first danced around a fire (no, I wasn't almost butt-naked :) ), I felt TRULY free. It was a great feeling, and I didn't want to stop. And every time I hear this song, I am once again dancing around the fire.

  • @Kalirain lovely! i want to dance like that...

  • Does anyone know where these pics were taken, btw? Looks absolutely awesome!!! : D

  • @EntwinedRoses Looks like April 30 on Calton Hill in Edinburgh

  • Yeesh, sounds nasty, nirvana! Personally, I didnt even really need to 'come put' to my parents really - I just chatted with my mum a out what I was discovering. Shes still cautious about the whole thing like the rest of them. But it was no big deal. At school most people think I'm either legendary or completely deluded, some have even asked me to start up a witch club!!! Just so everyone knows, it doesn't always need to be terrible and frightful.

  • my birthday is on beltane 8)

  • Beltane was the one night the ancient celts performed marriage ceremonies in the year. It was to bless the sacred union of man and woman as well as male and female of the cattle which were driven between two fires to purify them. It is also known as May Day. Blessed Be to all belivers and I hope others allow us to be who we are.

  • Thumbs up if this makes you want to dance around a Bel Fire on Beltaine 'Eve!

    Blessed be times Three! )O( )O( )O( /l\

  • i myself am a christian... and i respect all other religions especially anything that is related to paganism cause they're the original religion of the world.

  • @MrChucky713 You are one of the view to admit that :). As a Pagan myself, I wish you brightest blessings in your life! )O( )O( )O( /l\

  • @celticbattleaxe Thank you very much.

  • @MrChucky713 Anytime :D

  • Ahhhh.... I love internet arguments over nudity regarding a sacred holiday. And what is even more hilarious is the "retarded" pagans here are using more correct grammar. LOL Yuletide Blessings!

  • 4:43 Your nuts are hot coz they are about to be set alight! lmao!

  • I love beltane

  • where i can find those pictures with men and women painted red?

  • load of crap there cba to replay all of you , keep going get naked on beltane crap and send us some weirdo naked photos on youtube which supposed to be video stead duh! but lol whatever '' retards '' goes like that .. anyway such a waste of time here ..

  • @Q8Negotiator And yet you continue to "waste your time" here. o: *patpat*

  • @kheprinmatu then dont replay me ... again :S

    '' retard ''

so i wont respond to you .. duh

since you think im wrong .. bleh ..

    are you dutch ? O.o

  • @Q8Negotiator Why not? It's not me who's expressed their dissatisfaction with posting here. I'm quite happy to. o: I can't help that you have sloppy impulse control.

Oh, I get it now. Did you just learn the word? Is that why you use it in every comment? D'awww. *pats* I would recommend mixing it up a bit though, you know, for variety. Bland insults are just dull.

I don't think I ever mentioned you being wrong. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I had issue with your expression of it. :)

  • @Q8Negotiator and everyone else involved in this conversation:

would you please continue this argument somewhere else, I would like to read the comments made from people talking about the song and not each other (altough I agree that @Q8Negotiator should keep his fingers away from the keyboard).

  • @Q8Negotiator first of all, its called ''skyclad'' its not perverted, it shows our faith that we would show the goddess our purest form, it is in no way sexual, so shut your christian mouth, and in the words of bob dylan, dont critisize what you cant understand.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Agreed! We Druids don't exactly perform rituals skyclad :), but we acknowledge that sexuality is sacred and should be treated as such. Why? Because you and I know that we are FREE spirits, and full of expression, not confined into what some low-life preacher tells us because he thinks he 'knows god' better than the rest of us.

    Blessed be times Three! )O( )O( )O( /l\

  • @celticbattleaxe thankyou i just hate when people judge things based on presumptions and rumors.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Agreed - my family is an example. I'm the only Pagan in the family since the old days - before 800 AD, that is.

  • @celticbattleaxe impressive. im the only wiccan from both sides of my family. ever. my mexican fathers side is catholic, and my irish mothers side is protestant. if they ever found out, id be burned at the stake.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Ouch. Well, I don't know if they'd burn you at the stake, but it would seem like it. My family tolerates my religious views, but I know a lot of people who would go beserk if they even saw my Pentacle necklace. Poor stupid wimps :).

  • @celticbattleaxe its realy sad when your forced to enter a christian church, and before eating you have to pretend to pray by just bowing your head and closing your eyes for 7 seconds. i think i'll ''come out of the broom closet'' around age 25.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Yeah, I have to agree with you on that one. Fortunately, I'm 18 and can tell my parents that I am most definitely NOT going to hear bogus at church. I couldn't stand it before then. What the heck is so spiritually developing about going to church to hear some dude give a long sermon about things irrelevant to life? At least to me, that is. I came out of the broom closet when I decided to become a Druid and initiated myself, since there are no nearby Groves.

  • @celticbattleaxe wish i was as lucky as you. i enjoy your easy going nature, its very intriguing to me:) kinda sexy.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Well, this allows me to laugh at the clock and not let it rule me. It also allows me to handle stress much easier than many people.

Time is what slows us down - it is the main difference between this dimension and the Otherworld, where time in non-existant. That is also why this dimension vibrates at a denser, slower rate, wheres the Otherworld vibrates at a faster and higher rate.

  • @celticbattleaxe well you learn something every day, thanks:)

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Ah, then I'd think you'd love the book 'Eyes of An Angel' by Paul Elder. It describes how he first got an OOBE (out of body experience) and gets more and more interesting as you read on :). I think amazon(dot)com should have it.

  • @celticbattleaxe while ive astral projected before, if thats what you mean by oobe.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 You too? :) Yeah, that's what I meant. I had only one so far (I don't know how to do them deliberately yet), and I got a few feet away from my body, then something happened and I was back in my body

  • @celticbattleaxe i saw the roof of my house and i was too afraid and woke myself! :)

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 :) Never got that far myself. :D

Yeah, getting scared 'kills' it because the spirit body is extremely sensitive to emotions.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 :) Never got that far myself. :D

Yeah, getting scared 'kills' it because the spirit body is extremely sensitive to emotions.

  • @celticbattleaxe your soooo right.its hard to find your center when you have to live with people who could care less about interrupting your spiritual journey.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Oh gosh - that sucks. I almost always have a way out of that situation, but I know many Pagans who aren't.

  • @celticbattleaxe only one year of hell left.(i'm 17)

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 YAAAAAY!!! Then when you're 18, you can laugh in their faces!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D heheheheheheeeeee!!! :D

  • @celticbattleaxe or spit in them......... (id make an evil face, but thiers no evil semi-colons.)

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Spit on them? :/

They can't be that bad, but then again I'm not living in the same home (man that would get interesting :) ).

  • @celticbattleaxe well when you live with extreme christians everything is.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Yeah, it can. I've been fortunate to never have that situation confront me.

  • @celticbattleaxe well, i cant wait to get away and exit the broom closet.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 Yeah, I agree with you on that one. To be honest, I didn't feel comfortable with it for awhile around family.

  • @nirvanawishiwas96 you can make an evil face.

    >:)

  • @dawiccaman thankyou, you just slightly improved my computer life:)

  • @Q8Negotiator you are wasting your time. Also not everything is done the same way. Also if you are going to insult everyone, at least do it correctly. The term you are looking for is skyclad, and alot of people dont do this anymore. Now a days most people just dress nice, just like if you were to go to church. Also you shouldnt call people retarted because they are different. Alot of spiritual people do a lot of meditation and spend a lot of time outside. Like you do at church.

  • @Q8Negotiator Also I would just like to point out everyone is going to choose something different, you interpreted your religion your way, so dont criticize us because we interepreted it differently. We arent telling you you are crazy or retarded or wrong for that matter.

  • Nothing wrong with a celebration of our bodys and reproduction, it is, after all what we are programed most to do, like all of our fellow animals.

  • @Q8Negotiator If your purpose in being here is only to tell us we are going to burn, to preach, and to cast judgement, please, just leave this thread.

  • @Q8Negotiator I find it amusing how you can call someone or something retarded while not being able to insert a single piece of punctuation in your wall of text. Here's some advice: There's this novel little book called a dictionary. Open it up and check for the definition of the word retarded. You might be enlightened. Alternatively, you can just Google. Have a nice day.

  • @kheprinmatu why would i make ''wall of text'' !??im here only to comment ? again

you are a retarded person , google it go like .. someone call me a retarded , check the results

  • @Q8Negotiator If you don't know why you did something, there's no hope I would. O:

For the record, your execution of the exact same method of attempted derogation had much less flair. Better luck next time. :3

  • @Q8Negotiator And you are an unmitigated ass of a nincompoop!!!! You probably don't know what that means, so look it up in your Funk and Wagnels. And, if you don't know what means then I guess there's no hope for you. Ignoramus!!!! You call others "retarded"...get a life that has a little intelligence in it!!!! Start with grammar and punctuation.... (That's an ellipsis before the period, duh.)

  • @Q8Negotiator You are such an ass.

  • @Q8Negotiator IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SEX!!!! the only reason you think that is because your so ignorant and perverted. the christian world has taught you being naked is bad, but sorry, unlike yours, my religion teaches me not to bash others, so sorry. you just need to educate yourself about things before you decide your opinions.

  • To all of those that believe; I've said it before, and I will say it again...Heed ye flower, bush, and tree, and by the Lady, Blessed Be! )O(

  • @andrewames247 Aye, Blessed be to you ae well. xx

  • CALL ME A DEVIL WORSHIPER IF YOU LIKE!!! BUT IM HAVING WAAAAAY MORE FUN THAN YOU AND WAAAAY TOO MUCH FUN TO STOP WHAT I DOOOO!!!! (:

    )o(

  • Hi there. Christian here. I had the great honor of witnessing a Wiccan Beltane ceremony a few years back and it was among one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. One of my closest friends is Wiccan. Honestly, I don't understand the hate between us anymore. It isn't the 17th century anymore .___.

And I do understand that most of it is on our shoulders and not yours. And for that I would like to apologize. Bless you all, from whoever you believe distributes such things. <3

  • @ABookwormAndProud

Most Wiccans are kinda dispised unless your American, mostly made up of disrespectful male hating lesbian hardcore pseudo-intellectual "new age" Feminists

Just a fyi, unless there Celtic, don't listen to there nonsense, many Celts are Christians but unlike other Christians Celts paganized it to the point where one can't even call it Christianity really, hence the Celtic cross (existed long before the Christian cross, and hence the circle in the middle represents the Sun) :)

  • @CelticAngloPress "mostly made up of disrespectful male hating lesbian hardcore pseudo-intellectual "new age" Feminists" < You're kidding me, right?

Many of the Wiccan females I know are good house mothers, with loving husbands, who have full families. You shouldn't use stereotypes. After all, it just lets people stereotype you as well.

  • @ABookwormAndProud Polish pagan cheers! Pagan is NOT antichristian!

  • @ABookwormAndProud hey I have friends that are Christians too, and they respect me for what I am to. There shouldn't be anymore hate between us, there is too much hate in this world to begin with. Blessed Be.

  • ma perchè non vi accontentate della buona musica, senza addentrarvi in discorsi paranoici?

  • This is a different version than the one I have. The other's still great, but I think I like this one better.

  • Personally, I look forward to celebrating Beltane every year. Those who don't understand the fundamentals of how the world around them really works will never understand. Don't waste your time on them or anyone who even remotely thinks like them. They need to remove the crucifix from their eyes.

By the way, for the x-tians who may have commented on this, "Have a Merry X-Mas by cutting out the christ."

  • Amo essa canção

  • Where in the world are these photographs from? The one at 3:20 is particularly awesome!

  • As a christian I have to say I put my face in my hands to the comments of other Christians..scared of anything that isn't their way and separates everything into black and white, Satan and God. I have never felt that way, and I appreciate people who keep the old ways and religion. I haven't forgotten that this was the way of my ancestors, and as such it sort of..calls to me.

  • @MikeMcMikerson You are a great example for everyone. Everything that brings sense and enrichness one's life is acceptable and beautiful as long as it's not used to attack or torn apart the others. I'm not christian nor pagan, but who cares? There's a place in the world for everyone. Keep it up!!

  • @MikeMcMikerson An open mind is a great thing to have. I personally have a strong belief that everyone should believe in anything they desire. If my generation wanted to believe that nyan cat would come and save them from their unholy demise they should be entitled to that. Nowadays religion is forcibly shoved down everyones throats. I myself was subject to this and taught entirely wrong in the wiccan ways, i was dragged into a cult until i found my traditional pagan roots.

  • one of my favourite McKennitt songs :)

  • Wer macht nur solche schönen Filme. Echt klasse

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome song- love the tune! :)

(I'm not a pagan myself though)

  • @carlamccoy you dont have to be a pagan to love the music. :)

  • Thanks!

  • This is an amazing video! WOW!

  • blessed be and a merry samhain to everyone )O(

  • Amanhã já é Beltaneee! Viva! Blessed Beltane a todos aqui do hemisfério sul! Abençoado serão os Rituais amanhã!

  • Blessed Beltane to all in the southern hemisphere... Blessed be )O(

  • I believe the ritual in the pictures takes place in Edinburgh. Never been there, but it seems like they have quite an amazing event!

  • This song is amazing! It lifts my soul as high as the clouds. I can feel the warmth of the fire crackling and can see happy people dancing around the may pole-- Goddess thank you! :)

    Bright Blessing to you all.

  • There are pagans around the world who still celebrate Beltane and perform the ritual as it was done in times past. They do not advertise them though, they are for those who wish to participate and those who are invited. All may attend but they are not theatrical events.

  • @ZeitgeistWI Well the biggest pagan celebration is celebrated in the whole world, it is the carnival/Mardi gras.

  • @Cecilitsa

"Well the biggest pagan celebration is celebrated in the whole world, it is the carnival/Mardi gras."

Its about as pagan as holloween in Murrka, and pagans follow a strong ethnic identity, its not just a culture, also Mardi Gras?...really?, thought its all commercialized bullshit where underage jailbait go to get knocked up like a cheap whore.

  • End of Summer ritual..

  • It looks like the Beltane Fire Festival in Edinburgh. I attended last year. I've not heard of any this elaborate elsewhere, but they may exist. The photographs are mainly of the red men, mostly missing the queen, the green man, and people painted in blues, whites, and blacks. It's a remarkable production that's grown to a cast of hundreds.

  • Close your eyes and picture a blazing fire with figures dancing around it. I <3 Beltane!

  • Wow. It looks very orchestrated... I wonder where this happened? And yes. Quite the memorable evening...

  • Muito bom. Very good.

  • the gatherings i've been to suddenly feel very tame.

  • Can anyone explain the ritual going on in photos...pagan obviously but what is it about

  • @Bruce99100 The Beltane Fire Ritual hails back to the ancient Gaelic celebration of the beginning of summer on the evening before May 1st. It was basically a celebration to encourage the crops for the coming year and the prosperity of the people and the health of the livestock. It's an involved ritual but the larger ones performed today are more for public consumption and not really in keeping with the old ways.

  • Lorrena is the closest thing music has to an ancient shamen.

  • Beltane rituals take place all over the world. Great movie, I love Loreena McKennitt.

  • I wanna go! hahahah :D

  • These pictures are incredible! Anyone know where this took place?

  • wonderfull bb

  • @masoniclady86 STFU SPAM BITCH DIDNT ASK YOU QUESTION FOR YOU

  • perfect song!!!!!!!!!thank you loreena

  • There is no devil, nor hell in Paganism. That's a Christian herecy, so therefor it does not exist to us. :) Blessed Be )0(

  • The music fascinates but the pagan ritual ( is it ) frightens me

  • The Fire comes in when the barren fields burn away whatever is left. By Spring the Field will be ready to sow or may lay fallow so that it is healed from giving birth to the crops that we eat from Her.Neo pagans improvise sanely by using the Cauldron with the "Mother"-Dirt or Sand within the circle to contain the flames of the covener's candle. Traditionally the candle is worked with beneficial herbal oils in a petition for others' hardships or healing. Thank Dieties & close Circle. *)O(*

  • This is NOT how "We"celebrate. Beltane is a Fire celebration & better it be when the Moon is Full. In Ancient Times friends & trusted allies would gather in robes,so we weren't seen or off with the head. Blessings are offered to the 4 Directions, Above-Sky,Below-Mother Earth & Within-Spirit.Representatives of the the God & Goddess Priest & Priestess are called in & Blessed to Receive the Spirit. You are Blessed w/ Oil,given a taste of a cake & drink cider-or have Cauldron-Luck .

  • this is how they follow tradition. The men go out into the woods, searches for the great stag so that way they may kill it, paint its blood on their chest, and return so they will have the one deemed as the virgin huntress. Together with the blood of the great stag and the virginity blood of the huntress. Mother earth will bring back the fertility that we need in the spring. Though i really loved this video, i can't wait until its my turn.

  • where do i sign up? so awesome.

  • Saw a shirt at a pagan festival which said "it's Beltane in my pants and everybody's invited"! Blessed Be...

  • @JGreyWolf93 its witchcraft but looks like devils look the picture fire ritual devil color whatever they call looks devils

  • @belagiorgo You are an ignorant little thing aren't you? If you don't have the slightest clue on something, here's a concept, keep your trap closed.

  • @MsLizzieBlue Lol, I did the same thing.

  • 100% Beautiful. Beautiful song, Beautiful video. Blessed Be! And thank you for posting this incredible video!

  • @belagiorgo youre right about one thing beltane is pagan. devil shit on the other hand...not so much

  • @belagiorgo "pagan shit" is not devil worship. Learn your facts, and try to get some sort of education while you're at it.

  • @belagiorgo Devil my ass The devil is a christian creation you Ignoramus.

  • @SethianAHughes Finally someone with some sense.

  • @SethianAHughes Wish I could triple like your comment.

  • @JGreyWolf93 Yes, the mists of avalon has a lot of truth in the rituals. i always read the book around this time of year lol.

  • i feel like im in a mdeival countryland and i feel happy when listening to this, like a festival is about to begin and i am apart of it, wether i am cooking the feast, or preaparing the music, i am a part of it, and am happy to be so!!
