Yep, sorry to say that Jazzy passed away of old age around six months ago. She had a very happy, active life that was marred by almost no illness, so I'm happy that I was able to give that to her. I think she'd approve of giving the same thing to two ittle hamsters who were abandonned by the first owner. Four hamsters were also too much for the family that rescued them, but now they all have happy homes, where they all get the attention they deserve!
Cool video! It's a funny story actually; my first ever hamster (yes, Hammy ;-D ) didn't do anything. He clogged up the wheel, the entrance to his bed (which I later discovered was normal as all my other three did that too) so I was really worried. The pet store I bought him from offer a one-week guarantee so after 6 days he was due back... until suddenly he just sprinted into life! It was litteraly like he heard us talking about it in the hall! He allowed us to stroke him and everything! True!
They do take you by surprise, every now and then, don't they!? The hamster I had as a kid used to play 'fetch' with me! She used to retrieve anything I threw for her, as long as it was small enough for her to lift!
Thanks, they are both doing great, now! I love animals in general (I even work with them!) and I get enjoyment in my leisure-time by spoiling my pets rotten. I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't have a pet of some sort and even while I was living in university housing (no pets allowed) I still kept a fish and several plants!

She mainly brought it back to her storage space, but sometimes would lift it into my hand, too! :) She was a really smart girl!
