The reason most women don't listen to other women when it comes to this kind of advice is because most of the women they talk to are --more or less--in the same romantic boat with them. My mother gave me advice when I was a teen that I didn't listen to because my parent's marriage was in such bad shape then. I listened, but in my head, I was like, "What the hell do YOU know, anyway?!" It's easier to take this advice from a man because it's coming from a woman's "target audience".

Frankly, since there are so many mixed messages about what a man should be, many men reprioritize things that are counter to their nature...which leads to problems. So men should read this book too...so they can learn to express what they want better.

here is something every black man should know about education in this country: on all gov't regulated standardized test (from 2nd grade thru grad school) females are given an extra 10 to 20 percent on their grades. The reason most women don't listen to other women when it comes to this kind of advice is because most of the women they talk to are --more or less--in the same romantic boat with them. My mother gave me advice when I was a teen that I didn't listen to because my parent's marriage was in such bad shape then. I listened, but in my head, I was like, "What the hell do YOU know, anyway?!" It's easier to take this advice from a man because it's coming from a woman's "target audience".

The book lays out what men think/feel about. Without knowing this, women often misunderstand what men are thinking/feeling about and thus can't find and/or keep men. Makes sense right?
Frankly, since there are so many mixed messages about what a man should be, many men reprioritize things that are counter to their nature...which leads to problems. So men should read this book too...so they can learn to express what they want better.

Read the book: Are You the One for Me?: Knowing Who's Right and Avoiding Who's Wrong - by Dr. Barbara De Angelis.
After reading this book the dynamic between me and women changed. Especially w BW. I have not been in a bad relationship since. And that was 8 yrs back. I find myself turning women down a lot. This book really cleared out all the BS pertaining to human relationships of all kinds. It gave me the a clear upper hand. Highly, highly, recommended.

If men don't care about a woman's mind that's fine but you shouldn't expect women to dumb down and talk about a broken fingernail instead of her intellect. And yes, the question needs to be asked whether this is indeed intimidating to a man, which Oprah rightly questioned.

here is something every black man should know about education in this country: on all gov't regulated standardized test (from 2nd grade thru grad school) females are given an extra 10 to 20 percent on their grades. So, if u and the girl next to u have the exact same answers she will get a grade that is 15 points higher than urs. they call it gender balancing. basically, they give the college degrees to black women - explaining why the educated ones are so stupid. this society is built on lies.

Men have to be ATTRACTED to a woman for a relationship to work. A man is not going to be swayed by a woman's level of education, wealth or earning power, although the converse is true for women who are looking for a man as a potential soulmate. Men are NOT intimidated by a woman's education or earnings. The only thing that intimidates a man, is a VERY attractive woman and having the guts to approach and talk to her.

You know what I was swayed by her education and the fact she didn't have any kids when I was dating this female...But when I found out about her past, and when her random mood swings started to manifest itself, I started to see her as a woman who suffers from low self esteem...

But that is only because we know the attitude that will likely come with that combination, and we have to brace ourselves for it. However, in that situation, understand the root of you possibly being "intimidating" is your good looks, NOT YOUR MONEY...
