I tried to get the Ronettes out of my head by listening to the Crystals, Chantels, Chiffons, Shirelles, even the Chordettes. Nothing worked. Ronettes Rule. The others are good too, no doubt, but those three girls, what can I say?
@neverletugo21 I'm sorry but I love this movie and that you do not like does not mean that it is or that I have to see it as you see it.... Im sorry jajajajajaa I do not share your opinion.....
awesome version. fantastic pic's. these 3 women will never be matched in their talent. i do have to say that tlc came close. RIP estelle, amy and left eye
@PaoHarris please don't associate that awful movie with this great song. if you want a great movie set in the 60's with a truly brilliant soundtrack watch american graffiti.
Really love this in stereo....never cared for the mono version. Phil liked mono because it highlighted "his" Wall of Sound" rather than the singers' voices. There is a version of the white album (Philles 4006) in stereo, the record club release produced (with a STEREO marking on the cover). But I prefer either the European release, or the Japanese release both of which can be purchased on EBay. The stereo on both records is terrific, with my final vote going to the Japanese release by JVC.
Brian Wilson has said that the Phil Spector song "Be My Baby", as performed by The Ronettes, influenced him to write The Beach Boys's song "Don't Worry Baby".
Awesomely done! No computers, no cell phones back then...just imagination and 3 talented girls with an idea and hard work and look where they ended up. They were phenomenal. By the way, I dare ANYONE to find a picture on Facebook that compares with the innocence, beauty and honesty than that picture at 2:01-2:05.
Beautiful, I first saw the Ronettes on Top Of The Pops way back in the early sixties. I think as a young lad I must have falling in love with all three girls. Now all these years later this lovely video still has an effect on me!
Nice job on the re-mastering! Great song!

sad someone as pretty as estelle had to be afflicted with so much mental illness, and die in such obscureness and loneliness.

Linda música de Phil Spector , é uma pena que a sua demencia o tenha levado a um assassinato ,mais uma tragédia do show business .
