The reformation, The Plantations,the famine, the easter rising, the Troubles etc etc. We Irish were welding the axe against each other long before there ever was an England. I come from an Irish-Nigerian family and was raised in West Yorkshire and recently stopped following football because of all the cynical, petty, crude and childish bollocks that have destroyed the game. Every now and again I watch this footage to cheer myself up and remind myself as to why I loved the sport originally. I was a moment of pure, near unrelenting joy and I still well up with delight. Incomparable class.
