  • What is the price for a palm tree this size...

  • @normanram ....8000.oo

  • Wish I could get a couple of those installed in the backyard !

  • I wish you could ship to the east coast

  • @bobzzz23 ....... Canary Island palms are maginificient but also get lots of root diseases. Pindo palms have a similar canopy & trunk but are very Cold tolerant and generally a healthier tree. You can probably find one or the other from a Carolina grower-nursery.

  • @waldenbuilder thats to bad. I have a 4 foot windmill palm in my frount yard and its very cold hardy. I might get a pindo palm or mexican fan palm

  • @waldenbuilder ok.... well I got a 3 foot canary date palm for $15 how old is it?

  • @bobzzz23 ....They grow really slow the first years. Its probably 4 to 5 years old. But the smaller Canary transplants much better.

  • how old r they??

  • Around 14 years old. Very slow growers.

  • Is this USA?

  • Its near Houston, Texas.

  • Great job! Phoenix c. are one of my favourite palms. Palm trees always make for the best landscape plants. Can't have enough of them as far as I'm concerned.

  • Thanks for the comment. You might try some Chinese Fan palms in Canada. Some websites are listing them more cold hardy than Windmills ? Motorcycles and palm trees, I thought me and my brother were the only ones in that breed. Ha.

  • Right on man! We do indeed grow Livistona chinensis in very sheltered locations. However the most hardy trunking common palms in our region are Trachycarpus. They are completely fool proof here and grow in abundance in private and public landscapes. Cheers
