  • You better not fucking go to sleep tonight.

  • Alien, nightmare on elm street, Friday the 13th, Predator, good actors, charming video games...

    God I love 70's 80's and 90's

  • Comment removed

  • Back in the 70, 80's and early 90's horror films were the best.

Todays horror movies are crap and can never match the original ones in anything.

  • @vicehoganzz So true !!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahah aaaaaaaaaaaah hahah gonna kill ya bitch

    greetings from Argentine

  • The remake wasn't a Nightmare on Elm Street movie in my eyes, it was to Nightmare on Elm Street what Orca was to Jaws, a cheap rip off attempting to cash in on the sucess of one of the great classics

  • hell freddy, please don،t get ready for new remakes.

  • *Freddy turns up in someones dream*

"I'm sorry, Freddy, but I think your sat-nav might be broken. This is Elm Cresent."

  • @JoeytheDon1000 Mock the Week for the win

  • I don't think there was a kid from this movie's era that didn't have nightmares of Freddy Krueger. The scariest part is what he becomes even creepier to an adult crowd, after realizing what his character was really supposed to be all about.

  • whats sad is that im so loyal to the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise that I continue to watch the terrible remakes

  • in 2012 another one ll be release haha cant wait to see if its going to be sux like the remake .. but i own all the NOES :) ure a fan or not haha

  • @spnogre there is going to be another one?

  • @spnogre dont get me wrong i love freddy but im not even in the least bit exited because i hated the remake and didnt care 4 the 2nd movie seems like to me if u add shit to shit u just get well a pile of shit

  • I'm a Jason Voorhees fan, but Freddy Krueger is a scarier killer.

  • Jackie Earle Haley really did his best as Freddy and he´s a great actor no doubt about it.

Problem is the script editing story everything was BAD.

They could have taken the remake and cast it only with pure a-list actors and it would still be bad or at best mediocre.

I would say the secret to a good remake is getting someone who understands what worked in original story that your remaking and how to take those elements and successfully put them in your movie and making them work.

  • it's funny seeing all these people bitching about the remake on a video for the original theme from the original movie...as if, by simply existing, the remake somehow destroys the original. personally, i went in to see the remake with no expectations and without comparing it to the original and I enjoyed it. if people hate the remake so bad, just don't watch it. it's not like anyone is forcing you to.

  • @djbean89 I won't change my opinion on the Halloween remake. It sucks but I have to agree with you. At first I took the biased opinion of a hardcore horror fan (which I am) and hated it. After watching it a second time, I found that it actually wasn't that bad. As a matter of fact, the new actor is good in his own way. He's a lot scarier and a lot darker. I hate how people give him so much shit. I prefer Englund too but you gotta give the new one is props (sorry to refer to him as new guy).

  • This is much better and scarier than the new one.

  • Robert Englund should have been the actor for the new one aswell because the actor in the 2010 one sucked because he didn't even scare me the old ones did they scared me soo much that i didn't want to sleep for a long firgging time but the new ones made me sleepy and not even care GO ROBERT ENGLUND

  • @MrAndre1428 sir. are you aware of what a period is?

  • @MrAndre1428 The New Actor just scared me 2 times and that's all.. while this Freddy just scared me ALOT of times. Robert Englund is the best!

  • @MrAndre1428 England didn't want to reprise his role.

  • This is the best horror soundtrack ever!!!

  • I have a cousin that used to live on Elm Street

  • @WhiskeyChicken45 COOL STORY BRO

  • Growing up in the 80s was so awesome

  • Two words: Creepy. Pasta.

  • i listen to song to help me seep at night

  • @xXBlueAtomic you have some problems man! this would give me nightmares

  • @Skydie911 true lol maybe that's why im so odd O_O

  • @xXBlueAtomic to help you Seep? yuck

  • the scariest horror movie theme I've ever heard...

  • im too young to watch it but i did anyway lemme tell u NOTT SCARY BUT LOOK REALLLYYY COOL

  • Im not a fan of scary movies cause i get scared easily but still i dont think that was the REAL nightmare on elm street music

  • creepypasta

  • Comment removed

  • jackie hale ruined freddy krueger in my opinion he was just complete garbage -__-

  • @xXBlueAtomic his script and direction was terrible it wasn't him that ruined it

  • @Guillotine2084 well in my opinion he ruined it

  • @xXBlueAtomic everything about the remake was bad

  • @xXBlueAtomic only thing i liked was the ending that's all

  • something about this song makes my life feel complete

  • i came here becauses i was listning to avenged sevenfold's nightmare music and the guitar solo at the beggining reminded me of this

  • Epic Mucke :)

  • i need this on repeat right now!

  • Robert Englund beat out that guy for the part in 1984. I haven't seen the 2010 version. That first movie was creepy enough ..doors lock students in car off to school..and then Freddy yanks the mom through the door window...

  • A nightmare on elm street 2010 - wortst film.

A nightmare 1,2,3,4,5,6,7- the best movie.Robert Englund is the best actor.

  • Did wes craven write this??

  • Big Pun made a rap to this

  • @909SubZero no way dude. the original is so much better. the remake sucked except for Jakie Earl Haley.

  • @909subzero the remake is nowhere near as good as the original ones you simply can't replace robert englund as freddy krueger, it just doesn't work

  • @Skerrakko i know i cant believe they had the nerve to do that...

  • Best way to scare the kids on halloween play this theme liking the OG

  • HEY TINA

  • @JoeyKincaidKristen I love your username.

  • My favorite horror movie ever. I'm not sure exactly why, if it's because of Freddy and his personality or the theme, both of which I love.

  • CreepyPasta - The Soundtrack

  • I scared myself and my friend listening to this. ;n;

  • chuck Norris gives freddy Kruger nightmares

  • I said i loved it, i didn't say as much as the original. They're different but they're both great

  • I miss Robert Englund buuut the new guy (Rorsach) was awesome. I actually loved the remake.

  • @SheriffRick kids this days love the movies cause they new

  • Fuc*** Creeepy.... O_O But COOOOOOL!!!!!

  • Thump up if you know this song for the creepypastas

  • Now years after... this tune reminds me a lot of that of Are you afraid of the dark? or some other horror show for kids. Love it though. ;)

  • My opinion....Can't beat the classics(:

  • Scary sh#t

  • the new freddy sucked balls, testament goes out to the good old days when movies were sacred, i pour a bit of my drink on the ground for u

  • @TheComedicRunner when they were scared? right...

  • @1896Ernbla im 13 and listening to it at dark its 5 36 its fucking scary

  • freddy in gonna be a DLC character for Mortal Kombat the only thing that sucks is its the remake freddy

  • Jackie Hale is ok as Freddy Krueger, however Robert Englund was a pure genius when playing as him

  • @Surferdude1987 There is only ONE FREDDY :-D

  • @Surferdude1987 Robert Englund is the one and only true Freddy :)

  • @Surferdude1987 they should just make more movies with Robert Englund, he can still probably pull it off, hell I'd pay just to see him back in the role

  • @TheAdmirableAdmiral damn straight, so would I

  • @Surferdude1987 Jackie Hale was just directed wrong that's all

  • @Guillotine2084 plus I seem to remember that when Robert Englund was Freddy Krueger, he never said anything

  • @Surferdude1987 what the FUCK movies were u watching??? LMAO XD Freddy (Englund's or otherwise) has ALWAYS been a talker XD

  • @edmurther I've been watching all kinds of horror movies (except for the texas chainsaw massacre)

  • @Surferdude1987 "This....is God!"

  • This is soooo much better than the crappy and forgettable remake theme.

  • @wellingtonboots3 The remake actually had a theme? I do not recall...

  • I like that they play this for a second in the remake. Just to remind you of what you COULD be watching, while you're stuck watching this.

  • Finally this comment spammer is done.

  • I have had so many negative, nearly hateful comments when I suggested I liked the remake. This is the last time I'm going to explain. I thought the remake was decent, as far as remakes go. They're hardly EVER good, but this one had some elements that I truly enjoyed. Do I like it as much as the original, NO. Do I think the original is better, YES. The elements I liked, the creepy atmosphere, the fact that Freddy didn't crack one-liners.

  • @jephybean One-liners take away from the fear factor for me and the reason is, is because I use one-liners and humor as a defense mechanism when I'm nervous, afraid or uncomfortable. That is NOT a normal trait and won't apply to everyone, but it does apply to me and that is why the original Freddy was more entertaining than scary to me. I don't scare easily anyway. The concept of Freddy was always terrifying, but a more silent Freddy was scarier to me, because silence is scarier to me.

  • Respond to this video... THAT IS ALL I MEANT. This NEW Freddy lost all scariness as soon as they put a human face to him and painted him in a vulnerable light near the end of the movie. THAT is when the movie lost the allure I was enjoying in the beginning. I would have been able to explain that to the negative commentators in an intelligent conversation, if they hadn't came at me with such hardcore hostility. lol. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoyed the link and enjoy any movies you see.

  • @jephybean But in light of the negative comments, I will not be reading ANY comments corresponding to this link. I don't want to waste my time with people who act like cyber bullies or waste my energy being disappointed in the lack of communication and manners. But I wish everyone good luck, love and light and that a good, truly scary movie comes out soon that we can all relish in. :-)

  • This is creepy.

  • So freaking creepy! After I hear this theme I get all jumpy and have to turn all the lights on!

  • the bsketball part, i thought that waz friday the 13th theme song

  • fucking creepy

  • nothin beats an old classic...remakes too movies or music would never be the same as the orignial KIDS!!!!!

  • man if this didn't give u the chills back in the days somethin is wrong with you..this by far is better than the rest of the nightmare on elm streets....nannnnnnccccccyyyyyy!!!!!!!

  • I am probably wrong but I think that is the sound when you go into drip haunted house in chesterfield MO.

  • I would use this song on Halloween night and scare trick or treaters :D

  • FRIGHT ZONE! lol ... If you go to halloweekends you know what I mean. ;D Dude I love this theme SO much. I've just watched the movie, the old one, like a few days ago and ... it was like pretty scare for being a movie from the 80s dude. Like I don't get scared by horror movies though. But this one was like so intense and like on the edge of your seat. Was he going to die or not? xD Loved the movie, and no I didn't watch the old version because there is a new version....

  • This song is creapy ;O

  • Freddy... Freddy i-is come... please... please heeelp!!! heeelp!!!... aaaargh!!!!

  • I love how it's almost kind of calming, like it's trying to put you to sleep...

  • One of my favorite parts but im not sure which movie its from but its when he cuts a girls arms and uses her hamstrings as a puppet and drops her off a skylight.

  • the new movie was kinda good. the original was better. the worst movie freddy was in was Freddy vs. Jason. that movie sucked ass

  • @codlegofailvideos I think the worst was "Freddy's Dead". Not THAT was a bad Nightmare movie. At least Freddy vs. Jason was somewhat entertaining (at least for me)...

  • I WAS 8 YEARS OLD WHEN I WATCHED THE MOVIE .. FUCK IT WAS SCARY

  • whats the best freddy? playful twisted freddy that jokes as he kills, or dark quiet freddy

  • Kobe vs Shaq theme song, This one was probably my fav out of them all

  • We did a Freddy boiler room in our haunt and I was going to use an industrial-ambient soundtrack, but everyone else wanted to use this track. Best decision we could've made. With the dim light, fog, steam pipes, and this music, it was the creepiest room in the haunt.

  • Hellyeah \m/ enough said

  • that basketball sound is creepy.

  • Not really, the remake was pretty much just about "What would Freddy be like if he ACTUALLY had taken on the role of a child molester."

  • creepy as fuck

  • the remake sucked in my opinion. i could go on n on with whats wrong with it but the most disappointing thing was the lack of imagination. staying true to the original is 1 thing, but in a dream realm where the possibilities r endless they could have been a little more creative with the murders. plus there's nothing scary about a four and a half foot dude with a gigantic head twiddling his thumbs. NO MORE REMAKES

  • @PAPAJOSH1000 most remakes r kinda gay in ma opinion

  • Comment removed

  • A Nightmare On Elm Street 4Ever!

Einer der Besten Horror Figuren allerzeiten!

  • I love this song is very beautiful

  • Robert is...well, the only way to go. I don't like the new guy, I seriously don't. Just my opinion. I don't want anyone replying to this and calling me a bitch or a jackass or a fag or something similar, mmkay?

  • @SupernaturalBaby08 Nobody is gonna reply to you like that because everybody agrees with you.

  • @SupernaturalBaby08

I am not going to call you any names but you have to agree that the movie was damn good even though it wasn't Robert England

  • @MegaHornychick I liked the remake a lot. I did miss robert. Although this freddy seemed a little scarier, bc he didn't talk as much... he seemed more restless and relentless, not so playful. that made it scarier for me, BUT i didn't like seeing him as a human first... it made him less scary that we saw him that way... sometimes, things are scarier when you don't understand them... seeing him as human made him relatable

  • Are you kidding? the new movie sucked, it was cool, but not scary AT ALL, while the original was scary and cool, that was a awsome movie

  • @301garrett I said the character was scarier, because I don't think cracking one-liner jokes every 3 minutes is scary to me. I like the original movie, because it was the original. As far as remakes go, this one wasn't bad, it was one of the better remakes, BUT... that being said, I don't necessarily think remakes are a good thing for cult-classic films. If it was an obscure movie, sure, but movies as known as these shouldn't be remade really.

  • @jephybean the new Freddy was terrible. First of all, he was a child molester, not a child killer, which doesn't make him scary at all. Second, his voice and the things he said were ridiculous. Third, Freddy Krueger is Robert Englund, and this new actor looked nothing like Krueger

  • @yomama629 why do you want to turn this into a long cyber argument. We disagree. The things you point out are OPINION, they don't make you right for everyone just because you type them to me. I think both Freddy's are scary. The original Freddy is original hands down, BUT... I think he's more funny than he is scary. He's just nuts. This other Freddy was creepier - he killed children as well as molested them... he started out molesting them. This is just my opinion.

  • @jephybean I know they are both opinions, and I'm not trying to start an argument. If you're afraid of the new Freddy fine, but I pointed out the differences that made me think that the new one was not Freddy Krueger. Freddy (to me) is not just a burnt man with a glove and a hat, it's an entire character. The way he walks, talks, and jokes is all part of it. The other problem I have with the new one is that he's just a pedophile. He only starts killing after he's dead

  • @yomama629 I agree with the characterization you used. He is a whole package and his humor is far what made him popular. I just wasn't scared by that humor. It is probably because I use humor as a defense mechanism when I'm nervous. I wouldn't say I'm afraid of the new Freddy. I just thought he was creepy, UNTIL they showed him with a human face. That actually pissed me off... I think humanizing him, as if we're supposed to feel sorry for his fate was a stretch for me.

  • @jephybean you're right about showing him as a human, it had a negative effect on the scare factor. The real problem I have with the remake are the actors in general. I felt like I was watching a scary version of Twilight. Not only did I miss Englund in this movie, but I missed Heather Langekamp and Johnny Depp. And that's an interesting defence mechanism you have lol

  • @yomama629 I did like Katie Cassidy and she was a major factor in me liking the movie to some extent. I've been a fan of hers from other projects and think she has potential to be a star later and have this be a role that they show on embarrassing footage reels later on in her career. lol. Yeah, it is interesting... I've been told it's a Buffy or Spider-man defense mechanism, because those characters do it when under pressure. Good talking to you though. Later. :-)

  • Respond to this video... The new Freddy had elements of Candyman - that dark silent foreboding thing. That's creepy... if I can get someone to talk, and especially crack jokes, I feel I can work with that due to my own use of humor in hard situations. This is clearly not the case for most people, lol. This I will admit to, but I'm glad I read your response. I prefer intelligent communication, so thank you for your recent response and apologize if I assumed wrong of you before.

  • @jephybean I personally haven't seen the remake, but the old Freddy's humor is what made him my favorite, I think. To me, his creepiness comes from the fact that once you fall asleep you're in his world and he can alter it however he wants. The glove-razors help, too. But I do agree that silence helps most horror movie slashers with the creepy factor, like with Michael and Jason (I think with Candyman it was mostly dark and foreboding, as he did speak but he was cryptic and intimidating).

  • @SupernaturalBaby08 The remake is better

  • @909SubZero From what I've heard about the remake, like Freddy having been a child molester in life and not even starting killing the kids until after death, and the kids shooting themselves full of adrenaline rather than brewing coffee in their rooms, I don't even want to watch it.

  • @909SubZero lol the remake is nothing compared to the original one

  • Respond to this video... I don't expect my opinion to speak for everyone, just as I don't consider yours to. I am done talking about this now, because it reminds me of arguing with a moody child who doesn't want to go to bed, doesn't want to do anything, but sit there and whine. I don't feel like wasting anymore time on arguing about something that doesn't effect my everyday life. I won't be opening up anything else on this topic, so don't bother responding. Good luck to you.

  • @jephybean u can tell ur parents didnt let u watch the originals as a kid, im guessing ur probably in junior high and never even known bout NOES till the remake came out right? ur generation frikin sucks ass foreal, the way u talk is like ur frikin siskel and ebert...damn u kids today are lames, go drop some acid and watch Hellraiser punk

  • @chessinfantry I usually don't resort to name calling or cussing, but you're a fucking idiot. I'm 39 and was raised on horror movies. I LOVE THE ORIGINALS and have them all on DVD and VHS. I stand by what I said. The originals are classics, but sometimes too outrageous to be scary. I don't get scared easily. The way I talk is educated and I'm also a screenwriter, so french kiss my asshole, go drink a beer and whine about it. You're a classic example of what's wrong with society.

  • Respond to this video...Let me elaborate on that. YOU are a cynic and don't even know what you're really pissed off about. It's easy to find fault in something outside of yourself because you're so miserable with who you are. How's that for judging someone on the other end of a computer screen without ever meeting them?! Sometimes, I regret surfing the web, because of incidents like this. I HONESTLY will not read anymore bullshit from wannabe's who can't deal.

  • @jephybean ha, do u know how boring u are, what are u talking about?....dont answer that just go away lame

  • @chessinfantry Rest assured, I will not read another thing from you. Nothing you say has any merit. Boring? Lame? You say these things, because you know I'm right. You need to go watch some porn or something that you don't have to think about. You obviously live your life with a narrow view finder and can NEVER see anything outside of that. If you waste your time responding, I'm just pushing delete without reading it, so don't bother. I flush you like the piece of shit you are.

  • @jephybean boring! haha aww dont cry little one : (

  • @jephybean akndclkjasdfl;KHNSVKXCZM N.Z,MXN;wefij;dnf;aldjfioqprasfklsdfasfand;qeriktq;jertelrsgjdf.b,nsdf;r

  • @jephybean

glad to see im not the only one who liked the remake....though i will say the original design for Freddy is a lot creepier

  • @jephybean Are you kidding me that "remake" was horrible!!!! It was an abomination worse than Freddy Krueger himself!! Whoever made that movie, directed, produced it, thought of it, and all the actors and actresses involved in it should go to sleep and DIE!!!

  • @MrTTaylor25 I love that people whom you'll never see on the other side of the computer screen have the audacity to say such horrible things about people they never met (actors, producers, etc.) You are one of many fools who taint society. I'm not going to argue about the movie. I already did with someone else. You don't mean anything to me, so your opinions mean even less. I know what I said, I know what I meant and why. If you choose not to converse, that's you're problem.

  • @jephybean uh.....o.k. I guess

  • Respond to this video... If you need to huff and puff and stick your cyber chest to prove you are valid, go for it. This was a matter of opinion first of all (anyone's opinion is their own) and the reasons why I thought it was a decent remake doesn't mean it was better than the original, but you're clearly looking for someone to huff n puff your chest at. You're a classic "bully" who hides behind a computer screen as a big tough know-it-all. If I talk like I know what I'm talking about...

  • @jephybean O.k. dude just calm down if you like that pathetic "remake" then like it and be done with it i'm not going to argue with you with this music playing in the background...

  • Respond to this video... then I probably do kind of mentality. But NOPE, you don't. Anyway, good luck to you. Hopefully people like you who need to throw down over a computer will seek therapy. BUT... I'll tell you the same thing I tell anyone who abuses communication in these comments: DON'T BOTHER RESPONDING, I WON'T EVEN OPEN THE MESSAGE. IT WILL GO STRAIGHT TO DELETE. I won't listen to anymore hostile comments of people who simply have a difference of opinion.

  • Respond to this video... Instead of saying, I didn't like the remake at all. It pales in comparison to the original, you have to go all dramatic and wish death on people, insinuate that I don't know what I was talking about, etc. when it's just my opinion. I could've shared the things I liked that to me made it a decent remake and that I felt myself that the original was obviously better, but no... You had to use the opportunity to act like an ass, huff n puff and stick ur chest out...

  • Respond to this video... which to me is clearly a tell-tale sign that you yourself feel unvalidated and unworthy, so go ahead and take your chance to feel like you're something worth listening to. :-) Like I said, good luck to you and don't bother responding. Clicking delete as soon as I see your possible response. I will NEVER see anything you have to say, because you wouldn't be using your intellect, just your need to be right.

  • @jephybean the new one sucked cause he dident fit the place of where robert. feddy was always that crazy psyco who had somthing funny to say just before you got cut up by him

  • Today i was on history class and i fell asleep and had exact dream like Kris had in 2010 remake :S

  • @Mishapetrenko OMG.

  • I have to fall asleep to this tonight for science class..... :/

  • scared the crap out of me :C

  • still scares the crap outta meh......
