No one was forcing them to stay on staff if they didn't like it, some of these scumbags are now claiming "back-pay"?. Bwaaaaa!

THE STAFF are & were volunteers even if they were doing it secretly for their free auditing the fact that they signed up as a volunteer staff member automatically forgoes their right to backpay. Any logical thinking person who didnt like the rules of this religion could have just left ages ago if any of them had a soul or brain instead of waking up through internet. Church of S is classed as a religion not a business at the time of them signing. Tax the church to the govt not pay individuals.

How can these people be entitled to back pay when they were going on staff voluntarily so they could get free auditing that members had to pay through the nose? If the staff get back pay then any member is entitled to back pay on all their books and materials that they bought there. need receipts? I cant see DM from America coughing up back pay for volunteer staff in Australia. these volunteers were billboards at best they virtually wore yellow smiley faced masks saying how can I rip you off today. Thats why these days Cof$ employs Asians & migrants who cant speak own own language or tell you directions 2 streets away or bother to know our culture from immigration. If an ombudsman is stupid enough to grant any back pay to any volunteer staff & Dethridge certainly knew what he was undertaking then that would open the floodgates to any so called religion. I did volunteer work for Christian churches maybe I should claim back pay for my work I did for them too even when I raised charities I got nothing & church got all so perhaps I should sue my Christian church & since there have been a few underhanded things there maybe they could lose their tax benefits too

@midguardz If someone is forced to work and is not payed for the work they do it is called slavery. When you did charity work for your Christian church, if you said no I want to stop, did they tell you that you could never come back again, and your Christian friends would never talk to you again? Tommy Davis has admitted to disconnection, so that is no longer a question. Co$ either have to back pay, or admit to slavery or atleast human traficking and take the consequences.

Senate inquiry is about arresting individuals within the past & present staff who have done wrong to their past members. Staff were volunteers & they know it. S.I. isnt about staff members get back pay. Dethridge ripped off hundreds of people so if he's going to get back pay then other members can sue his back pay for ripping off his members to buy overpriced books & tapes. There's no way Cof$ could ever pay back the staff & it would just be a shit fight between the past members & the past staff
