The Double Fantasy sessions, part 1

The perhaps brutal fact is that The Beatles and the band's four constituent members belong, culturally and artistically, very much to the 1960s. The high gloss and polished production standards of Double Fantasy, which of course was released in 1980, really didn't do Lennon's reputation any favours; it attracted only lukewarm critical and commercial reviews at the time.  It's not just Lennon - can you name any ex-Beatle recording which bests anything they recorded as a group?

Hey it may be a good idea to use all those Lennon Double Fantasy studio photos that i've seen you use before in this new series. Even if you have to reuse them a couple times. I think it would give some relevant visuals to the Audio we would be listening to.

Good idea. I have no idea why I didn't even think of that. I have just been stressed out to the max because I am trying to compile some Lennon related material for someone and it's not exactly going well shall we say. So I have been kind of exasperated. I will use more relevant pictures in the future videos.

Great Job Neil!!!! Just trying to help out cause the aniversery is comming. And it is a suggestion to make it better. You are no doubt the best source fro lennon material like this on the web. And when the aniversery comes I look for for a site that has stuff I've never seen or heard before. Just a side note. I learned of Lennon's Death on Monday night football at the age of 10!! Yes, I was into monday night football then.
