hey great video but i've got a question though is this men of war the same as assault squad in regard to campaign and soldiers etc or is it just extra pimped graphics and stuff?

Of course it's his favorite game, he plays on a stupid resource rate that essentially makes it to where losses dont matter. Killed my Tiger? No fear, I can grab another for dirt cheap!

I wonder how he would play with the standard resource rate.

@leonenaj Indeed, it was the bravery of the infantry that caused so many americans to die. There were severall battles were the japanese people lost a battle and only the last 30 soldiers or so surrendered!

@T34is Oh, ive tried it, it was fun for a while, with some mods, but this seems like 100 % more realistic.. so if you want a good realistic ww 2 game, i dont recommend CoH.

3:45 until 3:51. on the bottom of the brick wall you can see a japanese anti tank dude. as the camera goes bottom right, you can see on the top left the jap attempt to shoot the stug with his rocket. the result is that the rocket hits the gate infront of him, which blows up and where the blast kills him. and finally the gate falls onto the japs body. ^_^

@javille99 In my opinion MoW is better. CoH was fun but damn the arcade style in is making it feel outdated by today.

Comparing MoW tank combat to CoH tank combat and its laughable.

Not to mention anyone that is intressted in WW-2. MoW is so much better, since the equipment actually feels like the real deal. No 56mm AT guns killing King tigers frontally or fireflies outranging everythin else.

2. I have, but I think that CoH is just a cheap ripp off from the game Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2, that is nearly the complete same, just that CoH is WW2, and that you can build some structures.

3. If you can't take out arty with infantry or fast tanks (or cars). Then you arn't strategic enough, in Men of War u need to think!

@farcryyy222 ok,here's the deal. you got three .exe files at the men of war file; singleplayer, multiplayer & outfront.exe. to play in LAN use the singleplayer exe.(if yuo guys got distance) over the internet, you should use a LAN router program like Hamachi for example. good luck

I think the company made up 99% of all these Japanese tanks because Japan had some of the worst military equipment in WW2. Japan had great planes, and thats it. Their tanks are trash, worse than Shermans, they have crappy AT guns too. The Japanese had nothing that could even touch a Tiger, nothing.

@PkayerZxz2 they gave Japan prototype tanks to balance the game a little more, although they all still have little armor rating, the tank guns they use aren't that bad, german stuff is still better regardless in game.

I've played a lot of RTS game including company of heroes OF/TOV but when i buy this and play it

i can say that my COH/OF/TOV has only advantage on its graphics but above all else Men of war is the best,

Well thats the problem when you have to balance a game to be fun and playable to everyone.

Japanese engineers were terrible at designing tanks and AT guns. They didnt have any massproduced heavy tanks at all, and they didnt have anything like the british 17 pounder. Reality isnt fair, but a game has to be.

Im just thinking and careing for the poor people who cant get the internet offline skirmish.

Offline skirmish would be excellent for my 2 sisters and my other 3 brothers they cant go online untill the end of the week and they get almost no time at all my main reason for offline skirmish is so that players have the chance to play what they want not have to go online .... you know if they added skirmish in thier first product it would of been much better game and made more sales.

I'd say the German tanks have an edge...but the Japanese do have access to their prototype tanks.

Also, I probably could've saved up for the sweeter Kingtiger tank - that probably would've given me an edge.
