I hope you got some extra cigs in that kit...would be hell to go through withdraw in a survival situation....I wonder where you go the IV and syringe stuff? Must be a nurse...LOL
Great video Sarah. Always great to see the ladies getting involved with preparedness. I would love to meet a gal like you someday. Your husband is a very fortunate man,
Great idea to keep the 550 cord intact, I would never have thought of that one. On the issue of feminine hygiene (tampons), think about what you use during a regular cycle and put that into your bag. Most B.O.B. are made for a 72 hr stint and if you're on your cycle, those few tampons won't do you for 3 days. I'm not sayin, I'm just say'in. Oh, by the way, cute baby!!
Great video. good ideals. here is a suggestion. .. Run a drill give your self 5 min to get your vest, bug out bag and your gun plus your child and get out of you home into the wood out of sight.. Drill 2 carry your gear and your child on a 5 mile hike and then re-evauleate what you need to change, remove or add to your bug out bag.
I'm just curious, how much does your pack weigh? You seem to have all the bases pretty much covered. The audio was a bit tin-y but otherwise it was a great video :) & the baby is adorable!! Thanx for sharing.
I like your set up,it's good you and your husband are prepping. My wife found your video, and we watched it together. As she and i are seniors,we will not run and gun.At our age,we both have become loooong range shooters.we did get some ideas from your video,to add to our bug out pack,,,Thanks
Great video and good set up. INvest in better flashlights. Those are not water resistant much less water proof and those cheap led lights often quit working and flicker. In other words they suck. I used to have alot of them and have replaced all of them with surfire flashlights. High quality and not to exspensive.
execellent vid. good job. who carries the kids gear? may i suggest getting a couple of the candy pacifiers/rings to keep him from giving away your position. cute kid.
gr8 vid.i've been wanting to get into being more eviro-minded and teaching my kids about basics of survival and of corse i know very little to nothing about survival.i've thought of diff sinarios that could happen when shtf and it scares me and then i think to myself if i had my kids prepared then i would worry less and then i think they could really save a life.u r bob prepared but what your home?i wold like to do vids too but i need to study.thanks tactical mama, hope to see more vids.
@wester4111 Hey this is Sarah I got the pack from a local Army Surplus store that sells some new stuff. It's a Level III MOLLE Assault Pack from VooDoo Tactical. Thanks so much for watching!! And Don't for get to Subscribe!!!
so i have a question for you both...i have been thinking about this a lot...what about your child...who will carry them...or do you have a planned bug out rig for him/her...i am thinking about this because i have a 100% disabled child...and have been making a deer cart into a bug out rig for my gear, his gear, and him...just looking for ideas...
hahaha! throws sleeping bag! you need a more compact sleep bag and waterproof compression bag for it anyway.

Try hiking a few miles with your gear and then evaluate what you are willing to carry.

The tampons/pads are great for short term situations, but have you thought about the long term, and what you would do then?
