just finished the install.. worked perfectly. Take you're time and add some extra tape in the middle if you want so the palmguard doesn't slide around at all when you go to lift up the first half.
hard to tell, I scuffed up my last macbook pro (from work) on the wrist area badly, now that I have bought my own (unibody) I want to keep it in good shape =)
This is an excellent installation video. I'm notoriously awful at applying things like this and probably would have botched the install (thus ruining the product) had i not used your method shown here. Now, instead, the thing is only PERFECTLY with zero bubbles. One shot, perfect alignment.
That is brilliant! :) Thinking about getting this for my white macbook i just purchased in April since its already showing the brown marks from my hands.
thanks for this. im glad i came across your video before i applied mine. did you ever get any air bubbles in the application though? it took me a long while to get a couple air bubbles out
so ingenious

Does this palmguard have some sort of a rough texture like the feel of the aluminum?
kjCooliO 1 year ago
@kjCooliO It has a slight texture. Not rough, but not smooth. Very similar to the aluminum texture and a perfect match on color.

Does it leave any residue when removed / repositioned?
kistajk 2 years ago
I don't know...I haven't removed it. But I've read that it leaves no residue.
SMan2381 2 years ago
I read that too... on the Moshi's website, so I can't really trust it.
Thanks though.

thanks man, really helps.

I wonder if the aluminum body really needs something like that.

Nope, no air bubbles. That's the beauty of this method. Makes application straight, even and in a way that greatly reduces the chance of bubbles.

Beautiful. I messed up my first palmguard, now I know what to do.

this is an excellent method,
you think it'll work with the invisibleShield or BestSkinsEver ?

The simple way is always the best. Wish I thought of this when I installed my own palmguard last week.
