  • And then you see a pussy little rich kid that has a good daddy get a huge ass scholarship... its sad that real talent isnt recognized most of the time

  • @robwilco1 what the fuck kind of scholarship should be awarded for playing a bucket drum?

  • @willi2209 Some people get scholarships trough connections.... people like these boys could play drums for example... as you can see they probably dont have the financial capabilities to do that... with proper education and money they could achieve alot..

  • @willi2209 THEY GIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PEOPLE WHOSE LEFT HANDED!!!!

  • good 2 see some black youths doing somthing productive respect

  • 1:11 the guy in white readjusts his bucket and doesnt skip a beat, mad props to these boys from a fellow chicagoan

  • seen these kids at half time of a cavs game the most amazing half time show i have ever seen period and i have seen them all i have had season tickets the past 5 years

  • there used to be a guy playing drums outside rogers centre in toronto ...aparently he made 385 grand that year. Just cause they are street performers doesnt mean they are poor im sure these guys each make 50 grand a year doin this.

  • crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyyy

  • Is there an original group of guys called the Bucket Boys? Most of the videos seem to show different guys. I'm from Detroit and I was in Chicago recently and the ones I saw were different too.

  • WOW! That is some awesome stuff.

  • are they really twirling the sticks or does it just look that way?

  • @jaybister they really are i went to a KU game and they were the halftime show it was insane.

  • these guys are just so good, no matter if its the same. they played at ODU, and when i went to the Verizon Center in dc.

  • i went there wen i was a little girl and i starteddancing to their bucket playing lolz

  • omg thats amazing...

  • The bucket boys are off the chain. They were in memphis at the holy day of antonement for farrakhan. These brothers have mad skills.Especially the 4 year old

  • @jerseyboi100 none of them are 4. theres no way

  • tht is how 2 represent chi-town. do wat u love and be proud of it

  • They are doing something they love... Maybe someday someone rich would stand out and give them a chance to raise their potential...

  • I saw them after a cubs game two years ago... they need to start producing some new beats because they play the same rhythms over and over and over. they can do much better as far as routine goes.

  • These guys are all over here in chicago. These guys are good, but there are some groups of guys that are even better than these guys. I also assure you most of these guys are not in a drum line. I have talked to some of them. Most don't even go to school anymore. This is there way to make their living.

  • @Bowmike13 Well said to me thats Livin the Life

  • @Bowmike13 America´s got talent. This group would be awesome there.

  • I think they actually are a part of some drum line

  • Well, think about it

    Their playing isnt exactly AMAZING.

when your a good drummer this stuff isnt hard.

BUT the actual stick tricks and the coordination. That my friendss is some KRZY skills. Props to themm (Y)

  • yea dis tanay frm 39th i suppa fuckz wit da bucket boys

  • holy crap i was in the southside of Chicago at the train station and i saw these guys (not playing just caring there buckets) and i started talking to one of them and they said there pretty famous around Chicago and i didnt believe him lol guess i was wrong

  • They are not poor, they are rich. Rich of skills. :D The word rich doesn't only apply on money! :D

  • It applies with chocolate too.

  • @mooshimashiroom These guys easily take in over 200 bucks a day.

  • @pavelandreevich more i bet

  • Firstly in Cincinnati we started this and way better ,,, the guy is focusing more on show than the actual music.. we've been on Apollo and everything therefore after... Where Are They?? Youtube.. @mooshimashiroom

  • are they poor or do they just act poor?

  • Saw em' today at the postponed Cubs game. Just three this time. A cop came up to them too, the one one the far left had everybody booing at him haha.

If I'm homeless. You'll find me with these dudes. That is one TIGHT routine they've got down right there!

  • they were at the taste of chicago 09, they were STUNNING! i gave them at leeast 50 bucks!

if seen them around chicago before too

    theyre awesome

  • i saw these guys today..

and there were police just watching them and they didnt arrest

  • there are posers of these guys. These are the real bucket boys that play at bulls games

  • I've seen them get arrested, too. I've given them a heads up a time or two that the cops were coming. They are really talented...and if it gives them something to do rather than hang out in the ghetto...

  • i dont like these kids anymore. they used to be humble back in the days, but now they all have attitude problems. plus, they are EXTREMELY ANNOYING when they do that in front of your office.

  • i saw them afew at the chicago blues festival in 2008! they are great!!!

  • me too! i had to youtube them just now. nice- and they played at the orlando-cleveland halftime show.

  • they are performing at nba halftime right now wow they are great

  • I watched them get arrested cause they didnt have a permit, the cops took their money too.

  • stfu

  • these guys are somme of the best in the nation no doubt

  • you wouldnt believe how much money you can make from street performing if you rotate your location. easilly $500 a day if your really really good like these guys.

  • i gave them ten bux

  • I hope for each of them.

  • r u joking 40 bux HELL NO

  • I hope someone out there got footage of what happened last Fri Nov 21st 2008 at the Target Center, when these BUCKET KIDS were greeted by Rick and Andy Ausland from Minneapolis-based "BUCKETS AND TAP SHOES".

They call themselves the Chicago Bucket Boys, but the footage will also show that they were wearing MN T-Wolves shirts. Hmmmm..?

"Buckets and Tap Shoes" sent them home to Chi-town with a spanking, and I think they stole one of our tambourines for a souvenir. Please post if you shot video.

  • Great stuff. B-)

  • I would of put 10 dollars in their kitty!

  • IMPRESSIVE! very good

  • lol im n

  • This reminds me. Years and years ago some news magazine show featured a kid who did bucket drumming and won a scholarship to Juillard. He was featured in the background of some movie, too.

He used his foot to lift the bucket up and down as he played; it acted as a bass drum sound. Had never seen anything like it.

Anyone heard anything about him? I think he was from Chicago, too, but I'm not positive.

    Thanks again!

  • These guys are amazing. I don't see the drumming equivalent of an open guitar case? No donations? They would've gotten mine. What a treat! Thanks for posting!

  • very unique sound! 5/5

  • I love em'

    There amazing.

    The drums are awesome.

I love going downtown and seeing

    :) drummers out there.

    Have some talent there <3

  • We went to the game on June 12th during our class trip and saw them, they're amazing!

  • i was in this video! i walked past them like twice and then just stopped and stared off camera

  • u suck

  • lol! I live in chicago.

Thats sad that you say that.

    :D but whatever your opinion.

:D If you dont know anything about chicago

they dont ask anything at all.

  • sounds like blue man group lol

  • I could do that... easy.... not

  • been following them to do a story...

keep trying to tell all of them that the money is at the stadiums/events and at millennium park..they seem to want to hang out on michigan ave, but if you would see the cash they brought in at events versus michigan avenue, you'd be shocked!!!! They make some serious cash at events!

  • they got like an ultimate hustle goin they got a crew on each fuckin corner after every game LoL

  • i saw them like 2 weeks ago in chicago, he was wearing the same sweet red hat

  • ya i saw these guys this thanksgiving. there really good but they refuse to get a street artist license and thats why the cops keep chasin em out of places like Wrigley

  • do you know why they don't want to get it? i was looking up "street artist license" on google but couldn't seem to find any real description of the policies involved with it. just curious.

  • im going to get me a bucket to...they are reallllyyyy good

  • this is amazing

  • i've seen them theyre awesome

  • See, you can't get that outside most other stadiums. It's the culture that Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs brings. Chicago culture.

  • the be every where at sox games alot too

  • i just saw them on september 1st at soldier field after the Iowa NIU game

  • I saw these guys recently after a CUBBIES game. Awesome! They put on a great post game show right outside of the park with a few extra guys. I think there were 8 at the time. Too many Old Styles! About 3 minutes into the show they were broken up by security. They weren't hurting anyone or anything. They were just getting a few extra bucks entertaining a group of people. Just enjoy the show. If you ever get the chance to see them make sure you drop a few $ in their bucket!

  • whaaa? my brain can't comprehend their amazingness.

  • very good

  • IMPRESSIVE!

  • Hey I just got back from a week long trip tp Chicago and went to wrigley field to watch the cubs and saw those guys, their crazy

  • the showmanship and visuals are good, but the rudiments and difficulty of what they were playing besides the visuals are easy.

  • They're flippin' great! What they're playing is fairly complicated and then there's the fact that they've slotted in some pretty awesome visuals as well!

  • lol Bucket Boys? Bucket Machines!

  • Seriously, I've seen these guys play and I was convinced it was just a group of really well-synched robots. How the hell they stay on time is so beyond me, but its awesome to watch. Its all part of the Wrigleyville experience.

  • these guys are amazing i always stop and watch them

  • did the cubs win or lose this game?

  • seen them be4 there awesome!

  • OH! Those guys are awesome! They rock! Keep it up, and i'll pay you 10 dollars.

  • thiz ckool as hell i'm a drummer n yall killin dat shit so keep doin yall

  • lol why does everyone just walk past ? in London everyone would stop

  • Because it's Wrigleyville - everyone is on their way to a game. When they play downtown Chicago, crowds in the hundreds stop to watch.

  • because its normal for this to happen in Chicago. there are street performers everywhere after a big game.

  • but their not all talented

  • The bucket guys rock. I always stop by after the game~!

  • this is the one thing i look forward to when i go down town

  • Search Richard Baxter and Montreal Drumline right here on Youtube

  • nice :)
