I think the animation sequences are pretty neat, but the fact that they are separated from the actual board is kinda lame. Also I think the pieces should walk their way and dont just stand there like statues. Battle Chess was much better than this star wars clone.

I played a real life board game star wars chess that was very good. It didn't have the rules of chess though. You had one main character and support character each and many people could play. I played as Boba and managed to beat the guy who owned the game!

I knew about this game too. Still have it, as a matter of fact. I play it on my computer with a Sega CD emulator.

I still get a kick out of watching the capture scenes, and my all-time favorite is when Chewbacca captures a Tuskan Raider.
