  • I guess Koreans players are Japanese killers

  • can sum1 help me here. can this be done with an over hook? or if not does any1 know wat throw im refering to.

  • @bulldog1879 It's actually better to do it with an underhook unless your tall. I am 5'7 so under hooks always are preffered. You have better control in the rotation with an underhook. hope this helps pal.

  • They could be called seoi tai otoshi.

  • You gotta love tai otoshi. WIth practice you can make your opponent think you're setting up an ogoshi or some other hip throw when you turn your back, but then throw that leg all the way through and plant it for a tai otoshi. If your opponent bites on the ogoshi feint by hopping to the side away from you, then he's in perfect position for a tai otoshi slam. This throw was money in my competition days.

  • i love tai otoshi so much better than seoinage.

  • 0:47 NO HANDER!!!

  • NEIL ADANS WAS A GREAT TAI OTOSHI PLAYER....

  • Who in the world adds these retarded tracks to such a good judo video

  • 4 people broke their ribs by tai otoshi.

  • morote gari, tai otoshi, and seoi nage are the best

  • NUSS! faixa PRETA é foda :O

  • Question: 1:25 doesn't really look like tai otoshi to me. Am I missing something here?

  • @Noorak23 Backwards Tai Otoshi, my tokui waza.

  • @Noorak23 just a different way to do it, but it's still a tai otoshi

  • haha won hee lee is the tai otoshi master...love that guy.....he did that throw so many times at that tournament and than pulled a clean uchimata

  • this is my ♥-throw in judo :)

  • Taiotoshi, Uchimata, Osotogari and Ippon Saeonage are my personal favs.

  • @elguapotetigre mine Tai - Otoshi, Morote - Seoi - Nage and Harai - Goshi

  • at least 75 percent is from 2 koreans hehe

won hee lee and ki chung wang

  • some of those looked like white belt throws but this is the best judo highlight reel ive seen

  • I like tai otochi best OF :D

  • lee won hee dando tai otoshi eh brinkaderaa

  • The fact that this throw has been landed enough times on tape to make an entire compilation just tells you how damn useful it is.

  • It is such a quick and beautiful technique.

  • 1:28 is osotogari ... and it is not a Koka...

  • @marcosinemb I believe it is a modified version of tai otoshi, because of how the knee was closer to the ground and there was no sweep... but it could be either depending on how you look at it

  • El koreano es el mejor del mundo en Tai otoshi.

  • 2:06 IS Osoto gari -_-

  • 1:07 the best

  • 1:27 is not Tai Otoshi

  • Tai Otoshi is a very explosive move!!. If executed fast enough, it'll always work and comes surprisingly. There's no easy way to counter attack it.. Thanks for posting..

  • 1:39 '-' man... the man in white is so much weaker then the man in blue...the guy didnt really use his leg ... he did use... but it didnt really touch the guy... the guy in white maybe was scared and gave away? hahaha he just fell so badly

  • @Houstof It's the kuzushi and i think the opponent would attack to the left therefore his momentum is doubled

  • 1:43 He finishes the throw in the time it takes a guy in the background to take 1 step. (not the ref the guy behind and right of the ref) Thats some speed + power

  • Dude i wish i could do that. I have a hard time commiting to these throws cause u turn ur back on the person which makes me uncomfortable....

  • 0:37 veramente brutto

  • can u do a tai otoshi 2, like uchi mata 2 and morote seoi nage 2?

  • 1:18 looks like a drop seoinage

  • that is pro!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is pro

  • That is so awesome. I'm a green belt jujutsuka and only started doing tai otoshi correctly recently (it took a 6th dan to notice my flaw and correct my technique). I think it is one of the most effective yet most mis-understood of all the jujutsu/judo throws.

  • no its bruce Lee!!

  • I love tai otoshi. When I first started training judo, I played with a guy who used all the time to throw me on my ass. It's a great throw: so useful in so many different situations.

  • half of these were lee won hee.. that dude is a legend.

  • nobody even mentioning neil adams' tai otoshi?

  • how is Udo Quellmaz not on here? Or did I just miss him? He has a brutal Tai O Toshi

  • tres belle realisation de tai otoshi , repect a eux !

  • i love this throw :)

  • bannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn viud

  • hey there used to be this rad ass tai otoshi compilation of him and i cant find it any more it was his ten best tai otoshis and they where all so smooth and crisp and snappy i wanted to post it on my facebook so my friends could see why i love judo so much and its gone!!!!

  • won lee hee

  • what is the name of the korean guy at 00.48 min and 01.00 min ?

  • Good video, bad music.

  • (y)

  • Tai Otoshi is my prefered throw, that video is great, thank you very much. Rei.

  • lol. good but your own kata guruma compilation was awesome.

  • 2:06 most perfect! handsfree

  • i think it's more of "single-sided" tai otoshi than a hands free one.

you cant execute tai otoshi without ur hands. tai otoshi is a hand throw.

    *peace*

but yea, 2:06 is perfect. :)

  • Nice. Taiotoshi is one of the greatest throws ever devised.

  • yes, but very difficult to effectively execute in a real fight.

won hee lee is damn good.

  • Really. I've done it. Also ogoshi, hiza garuma, koshi garuma and osotogari, all on the street. In fact, tai otoshi is one of the easiest throws to get along with osotogari.

  • is lee won hee retired?

  • personaly, won hee lee is the best in Tai otoshi...

  • @KajaErvin he is simply the best

  • @KajaErvin =) their is no personally in that, that is a fact Lee has the best Tai otoshi

  • damn. they make it look so easy to execute that throw.

  • 1:30 it is just perfect.

  • Half the video is Lee Won Hee! His tai otoshi is incredible. I like the grip he makes using both hands on one arm.

  • you got all the best videos ))

  • 0:48 is not a combination its varation of tai otoshi neil adams taught me to do it himself ;)

  • neil adams is my sensei's bitch

  • but haven't teach you to be polite yet; you have a long way to go ;)

  • hahha, Neil also taught me to do it ;D

  • I like to grow my toenails long, so I can cut my opponents with them

  • Neil also taught me that :D

  • Yeh, I just had lunch with Neil. I told him you said hi.

  • Cool :D say Hello from Denmark. He used to come to our summer camp

  • will do

  • your pathetic, wtf is the point of doing that thats disrespectful

  • Your opponent is the enemy! The enemy deserves no mercy!

  • Judo is the Gentle Way, not the beat up the opponent as much as you can way.

  • ´cool throw love it!!! ¨

i just cant make it work in randori :(

  • 0:48 Looks like a combination Soto Makikomi and Tai Otoshi....I like it :)

  • super musique!! super mouvement!!

    super vidéo quoi!!!

  • lee won hee is the king of tai otoshi

  • Lee won hee is the tai otoshi master!

  • nice music, almost perfect for the video :) still thing offspring is better:)

  • There're some pretty dirty, but the majority looks very nice. Thanks. :-)

  • VGOJUDO good job :D great video and i very like that trow :)

  • excellent video but Makarov's technique at 2:12 looks more like a ashi guruma

  • This is awesome. Love this throw.
