I believe quickening the tempo was a good decision. Lately everyone just assumes that Gary Jules is the original artist, yet it was Tears for Fears.The tempo they used was fast flowing as well, Quicker than yours in fact. So I wouldn't get too hung up in that. Your melody has a smooth tune to it. I enjoy how you took The Tears for Fears and Gary Jules version and combined them a bit and added some of your own material as well. Keep up the fantastic work! :)

I LOVE the instrumental changes you made, but not really the vocals. Just my opinion but the falsetto and tempo just didn't jive for me, but like I said, great job with the instrumentals.

you're so bloody good. only thing i would have said is maybe do it a bittttttt lower. it doesn't sound uncomfortably high or anything, don't get me wrong.. just think it could have done with a bittt of a downward transposisheeown x

@honawi i get what you are saying and appreciate the comment, but i made the changes in speed and pitch because i wanted to change it up. i wanted my interpretation of it to be unique and not just a carbon copy of gary jules version, because then what's the point?

and i don't mean this to sound bitchy or anything. i've just gotten a few comments similar to this and wanted to explain why i made the changes. i realize not everyone will like it and that's ok! but, thank you for watching!
