This story was used to divert the readers attention from the fact that Scott Summers , Cyclops, abandoned her and their son , to go after Jean Grey, so who is the bad guy , Maddy, or Scott, or none? , a good solution would have been a divorce,. Remember Marvel s catch phrase from the sixties , heroes with real problems, a divorce is a real problem /solution in many ways .
