Just got the Sgt. Frog DVD today, and I love it. Funimation did an fantastic dubbing job. I cannot wait for part 2, I have it on pre-order on Amazon. :D

One minor complaint about the DVD itself is that when you first put in the DVD, the trailers in the beginning are unskippable. It's kinda annoying, considering they're about a minute long. Other than that, great work.

i guess normal australian ones do, but i only watch anime and they dont have any advertisements at the beginning...

Well, not always. I have a couple non-Funimation anime DVD's that put the trailers in the Extras section on the menu. I think that's a much better place to put it, personally.

yeah thats where Madman (australian anime distributors) puts the trailers on the DVDs its good that way, so you dont see the death note trailer 50 thousand times! O_O plus you can skip them.

i referenced the death note trailer because that seems to be on quite a few dvds :(

it can be either one. it was originally Kururu but later in the manga they changed it to Kululu after some time, dunno why really. admittedly i like the name Kululu better but yeah japanese Keroro is best. i've seen some of the high up episodes and it gets me thinking as to how Funimation will be able to handle them with these voices. i mean we could get used to them but when it comes to Kululu i dunnohow it'll be XD

The manga frequntly switched between Kululu and Kururu.

when they first started out they were using Kururu but later on they wanted to change it to Kululu, i don't recall why exactly. i have a book that is basically just the first three books put in one and everything is exactly the same except they changed his name from Kururu to Kululu, they only used Kururu at the beginning of the manga, for a number of volumes, then i realized they used Kululu in the more later volumes.

I mean sure they finished FMA, but thats just the one. What about all the others like super gals, kodocha and kenichi? When viz media dubs a long anime, at least the finish it.

You gotta remember though theres alot of stuff that gets lost in translation I'm not trying to defend them just putting myself in there shoes. Honestly i prefer it subbed with little *next to the word then it explain what it means, you understand the story better and the little jokes. Also you pick up a little of a new language even if its something small its a start.

Yes, Sgt frog is good, If you like alien invader frogs and comedy. Basicly Sgt. Frog is about Keroro and his platoon(Armpit platoon WTF?) who try to take over, but became stranded from the main ship and now live under the protection of their human captors. It is alot easier to explain if you Wiki it... (Even though I am a hardcore fan, It is extreemly hard to explain the first episode if you are like 277 episodes ahead of it lol)

NO! Just NO! We were able to watch like the first 2 seasons of Keroro Gunso and some of the third subbed on SuperxNoob's channel but you had her suspended from YouTube! If you think bringing the ban hammer down on all the other Keroro subbers/uploaders will get you more followers, then you are sadly mistaken. It pains me to watch a perfectly good anime, like Keroro Gunso be destroyed like this. Your dubs made me cry inside.

I just finished watching episode 1 of SGT Frog because of this video. It makes me want to buy the DVDs of that series now!!!!! I will be watching the other 3 very very soon, possibly all of them tomorrow. It was amazing, the dubs were absolutely perfect! Todd Haberkorn did Kerokero amazing! He is my hero! I couldn't have asked for a better dub, thank you!! Please continue this series, I love it so much! And I think I really will buy this when it comes out! This anime gets me out of my depression

hmm considering how long the series is being its only first 13 their really going to be milking this series for as much as they can - kinda how viz screws anyone buying naruoto or prince of tennis - hence why i odn't buy those ones - i'll just wait a year or so can get the actauly season box sets instead of the "parts" of seasons" same with why i havent't bothered to buy one piece but way too expensive for amount of eps per set

It's an anime about these alien invaders from the planet Keron who are trying to invade Earth. You may want to wiki it. It's a good comedy anime without too much of a plot xD You can also watch a few of the subbed episodes to get a sample of it, but since it's being released in English soon you might as well watch it.

By the way, the title is named after what the aliens look like. I can't help you there, though. XD

keroro gunso aka sgt. frog is about 5 alien frogs crashing on earth/pacopon and have hlierious episodes with them trying to take over earth. i highly recomend it to any one but to get a feel for the series i recomend watching a few episodes in japinease
