Anyone using an entry level lexicon may interpret this as "bless" or "congratulate," but the word used here when applied to the gramatical makeup of the rest of the sentence is undeniably to be translated as the word "curse." Thus, the translation cannot be interpreted in any other way. It has nothing to do with the greek. This is stated only so some may move past the possibility that this is mistranslated

But then again some cynics could make the point that the English translation of the bible is full of flawed translation, and therefore context.
