military hardware in China may not be as sophisticated as the US. However, they do have better discipline than NATO forces and a superior land doctrine. It is entirely possible, but not confirmed that china may have the worlds most superior interceptors and multi role fighters. Anyway, why on earth would the china go to war against the west, i doubt the US would commit to defending Taiwan militarily, if they tried the US would officially lose its superpower status.

If China was to go into conflict with these members, all its economic strength will deteriorate overtime. Plus Chinese defense budget is about 86 billion USD while the US is 616billion USD. China has no real sea or Air capability and their current military can simply only protect chinese interests
