Look out, nuclear powered cuteness here! Jake was as fast as you could expect a big kitten to be but Elwood surprised me with some really quick moves! He was right on target, I guess those big peepers of his work pretty good. I count you as lucky to have some playful cats. Frankenstein has never been a very playful kitty so I tried a laser pointer recently. She pounced on the dot one time, then hissed at it and ran off, never to get near it again.

Oh no! Thats just cruel! I know because my oldest brother tried that gag on me and I chased that red dot around the room for two whole hours while people laughed at me. When the light dissapeared I realized I was playing a non winnable game of "Catch that Red Dot!" (heh-heh). Love it!!!!! :-)

Elwood is always the winner..I love this cat. He could just think 'oh cool, a laser light. I don't want to play with that very much right now'. Or he could be thinking, ' Wow, a bug from outer space. Hey there little guy. As long as you don't hurt me, we can be friends. Oh you wanna crawl on me? Go ahead. If you bite me, I will kill you. But if you are nice to me, I'll be nice to you'.

I think its the latter. (Although I'm a little "spacey" myself)...
