Now that I think of it, the BB murder cases were mentioned in Death Note 13... And they were mentioned in one episode of Death Note. So, at least the concept of BB is canon.

I felt that he was put there only for fans, since it wouldn't be the first time animators do things just to satisy fans (since they are the ones buying the material). I don't count it as canon. In chapter 109 you see that L is talking to the children via webcam and thats where you see Matt, Mello, Near and the other children of Wammy's house.

I have to say this. Ohba was able to create a manga that deeply effected the readers, and if he was able to make people cry and angry over their deaths-then he did his job. Obata did marvelous art work.

Yeah... Just type him in on YT. There's tons. And it's true... though he is a Wammy he doesn't exactly count... He has nothing to do with the plot of DN really... Only that he's the reason Misora and L had an aquantince. And that Raito killed him...

Haha, yeah. There were so many things talking about how he was L's reincarnation, brother, and dark side. I read the book and I was like 'What's up with that?!' He was cool though... Kinda crazy but we all love those XD
