@npfp123 I agree to an extent. There is a reason for GML, however d&d can do the funcions. (may need function libraries) the precomputed part is only to allow the stuff to work. Game Maker has more possibilities than "making maps"

@npfp123 you're obviously the noob here, I do advanced game maker and once you get to 3d and advanced physics you have to code the whole game yourself. But yes if you're making a like pong game it is extremely basic.

EDIT: Sorry, I thought he used xCode, but he uses AppleScript, or Script Editor, which is on the Mac from the very beginning. So, nothing to install :)

thats applescript but you can do much more better apps or games in xcode with the same language. but why can you code with as though dont knowing what its called?

anyway as is very powerful and i would recommend you to use xcode cuz you can program an ui as well. not the simple dialogs with 3 buttons but real programs like every other app on you mac.
