About a week or two ago I got an email from Lou, former manager of Tootsie's that Zack Taylor had passed away. He was truly a musician's musician, and a Nashville friend of mine during the 1990s. Gonna miss ya, buddy.
RIP Cuz. Many years, some great, some good, some bad, all worth it. You found the road to HIS house and we'll all be singing "Will the Circle be Unbroken" one day.
In memory of Zach Taylor touches me deeply. I love this great song. I've found so much humanity in those that we choose to imprison for life, often for minor offenses and defended by impaired (and often mean) public defender. I love this video and the singing is gentle and penetrating. Zach is in a better place and we choose to miss him because we loved him.
we love to hear you play and miss seeing you play. love you .r.i.p.
