The brand is Easy Gardener Weed Block. But you can use anything water will go through ive even used old carpet. You can buy it you local garden centers.
If my growing season was longer im sure it would get taller but the frost kills it ussually it is done by October. I live in Maine wear the growing season is very short. Thanks for the comment. Tammie
I thought that was Marigold you put there, I wasnt sure tho LOL it does work, if you notice they dont smell to nice, well animals and bugs dont like it either so it works :) Pretty garden!
in my part of the country we have a short growing season the black landscape fabric helps to warm the soil in the spring and it also blocks all the weeds
I'm pretty sure that what you pointed out as a baby sunflower is in fact cantaloupe (or similar) !! Can you tell me why you plant sunflowers? Thank you for these wonderful videos -- they are SO helpful !!!!
Great looking garden. I've only used landscape fabric one time on a small scale on my once before. It worked out pretty well but normally I just stick with the grass clippings.
I use landscape fabric it lets the water through unlike black plastic. I live in maine it takes a while for the soil to warm up the black fabric helps warm that soil earlier. Plus it blocks the weeds i hate pulling weeds.
I Grow Tomato Plants as well And Mine get to be 7 to 8 feet tall secret is (Cola)Not Diet Cola Though has To be regular Cola,Pour some into the soil and the roots will soak it up and grow very Large
Please advise, how did you water the cola to the tomato plant and how much in term of ounce per plant?
how often you have to do it? when is a time to use cola to water the plant bofore or after it has flowers? Is it a soft drink coke? or soft drink cola with what name brand?
We do It once a week, Regular Cola (The soft dirnk) Not the Diet one though. Dosen't matter what brand of cola Generic is just fine. As For amount Basicly just do it by eye you can't really put too much in because it will not kill the Plant so Dont worry about that. I Would say enough to get to the roots.
Not as Much as You would think. Also,Here's a tip on how to keep Rabbits,Deer,Groundhogs...ect away from your garden,"Irish spring soap" They wont come anywhere near it.

I have to replace the fabric every year because the sun brakes it down by the end of the season. Thanks for the comment
