  • dude!!!...awesome job, It's fucking heavy.

Man What do you use for record the cover(software, Mixers, microphones, etc)?

  • dude, i'd so superthankful if you'd make a tutorial of how to play the solo!.... :S, since i've been strugeling trying to figure it out, and none of the tabs i've found is acurate... :D

  • dude i am literally sitting here covered in my own semen. That was absolutely perfect and the solo was amazing keep rocking dude! 1000000000 stars

  • Hey just wanted to ask, do you do your covers by ear or do you tab sites, cause if you do use sites, can you please send me the link?

  • it should be rust in peace because of megadeth and ronny james dio was a metal singer so rust in peace

  • Hey I love your Trivium vids man, quick question though, would you recommend the dean usa v skulls for the 3000 dollar price point? please reply thanks

  • @TheNohcim That's tough to answer. I say that because it's my dream guitar. You could probably get a Bernie Rico Jr. custom made to your exact specs and everything for around the same price. I have passion for this guitar, so it's priceless to me.

  • oh my god that is one of the best no it is the best cover i have ever seen

    you are awesome man

  • dude. your awesome at what your doing man. I dont see anything bad about this video, how long u been playing?

  • @WnGster I'd say it's close to 4 years now, but was on and off in the beginning as if I didn't find it too interesting until I found thrashier metal and heavier metal. And thank you for the kind words.

  • pinyo ka po? nice cover idol! :)

  • Cover to perfection!

  • good cover, matt's solo needs a little work

  • tbh the vid looks great lol it looks like theres an evil guy haveing a guitar battle wit a good guy with trivium in the background lol great playing btw im learning this song as well

  • that last note on the solo was pritty nice!

  • yeahhhh !!

    you rock !!

  • Haha yea a little late I already have them thanks

  • WOW MEN You Are A Fucking Beast!!!!

  • i think that was amazing. loved it. :O gob smacked

  • i like the ending \m/

  • Everyone stop hating jesus! Your not fucking 2 years old!

    And btw,

    Amazing cover.

  • i dont see the point of you guys playing if ur to fast and abit out of tune

  • @codey1994 It's one guy?..

  • amazing covers, only complaint is that I don't like how you always speed em up

  • Nice cover I don't see why everybody is criticizing you it's a hard song. Where did you get that strap though? I've been looking for one for 3 years haha and how much?

  • @Blivion55 Sorry for the late reply, but the straps are Dunlop Grommet straps. Relatively cheap (about 13 bux or so) and easy to find anywhere online.

  • This is sloppy as hell. The legato sections in the solo are WEAK, the whole thing has no feeling, which is what Triviums stuff is all about. Smooth, slick, sweeping stuff. Yours all seems robotic.

    3/5

  • @TheEskimocharlie Um, the solos have very little legato use. Corey's solo utilizes legato during the tapping and I admit, it was a bit messy, but it's not easy playing 100% clean at the speed I'm playing at. I appreciate the constructive criticism though.

  • Y is it sped up? >_<

  • @PS3GuitarMan I love playing Trivium songs sped up. It increases my picking hand speed and endurance. It's a challenge as well, which excels me as a guitarist. Seriously, try playing this solo sped up, it's near impossible and took me a while to get down at this speed. It'll definitely help you become a better guitarist. If you can play this stuff at this speed, then at normal speed, your playing should be very clean.

  • @AhsanU true but when a it's cover u should do it the real speed

  • Awesome cover, dude

    Really good :D

What config did you use on amplitube?

  • @Leandrewz0r For rhythm, I used Detune VH, for solos, I used Detune VH Mono. They were modified using the graphic EQ on Cubase 4 LE however, so you won't get the same exact tone you hear in this video just from Amplitube.

  • Take that shitty chorus effect off ur guitar this is metal not grunge but real good playing dude!!!!

  • @progwop Fix your ears, there's no chorus effect on any audio channel here. I don't use chorus for distorted stuff, only clean. And how is using a chorus pedal not "metal"? Zakk Wylde uses one, is he not metal?

  • Bro your white guitar is the same used in the music video am i correct? What kind is it? dean?

  • @zero711632 Dean USA White Gold Razorback.

  • Idk if it's just me, but the song and guitars sound just a little bit to fast, sweet cover though

  • this is the best trivium cover i have seen on youtube you are fucking amazing dude, how much was you white dean dime man?

  • Amazing.

Could you tell me where did you get the tab (Guitar Pro?), because I can't find a good one :-(

    Tanks

  • @quentinslt2 There's a video lesson on youtube from the guys in Trivium of this song. Search it, you'll find it!

  • @AhsanU I have already found it, But that is not very easy to learn with their lesson. I was wondering if you had a good tab because on Ultimate guitar the solo is always different than their video therefor I need Quick Time to see it slowly and that's very tiring :(

But if there is no other solution, I will do with that :-)

Thanks a lot for your answer.

  • @AhsanU Ya I have the video, I could send it to you.

  • enjoyed it a lot :)

How do u do the split screen?

  • @Mohamed636 I used Sony Vegas Platinum, there's a tutorial on it on the web somewhere. Just google "split video sony vegas", you should find it.

  • this is in e standard am i right?

  • @TheMetalhead244 The Crusade album is done entirely in E standard and B standard. So yes, this song is in E standard 440 tuning.

  • I see that you used amplitube, and Im really loving the tone, any chance you could send me the patches/tonefiles/whatever they call them for amplitube?

    Thanks :DDDD

  • @MrJakeSG Sorry, I used no special preset for the tones you hear. I use "Detune VH" for the rhythms and "Detune VH Mono" for the leads. For the "Detune VH Mono", I tuned off the Wharmonator under the Stomp A section. I also used the graphic EQ in Cubase to further tweak the tone I get. So again, sorry, no special presets or patches, just good 'ole fashion graphic EQ adjusting.

  • @AhsanU Ohh alright thats sweet, at least I know which you use now! :D Thanks for the help, keep up the good work dude, your amazing! :D

  • Amazing Buddy.

  • is that a chain necklace or a string necklace

  • @anthony197666 Chain.

  • great vid and great song :) keep it up!

  • Dude I just saw your FS post! Why you selling the Agile?? If I was in the US I would probably snatch it off you.

  • @danpluso I had to sell it to fund another 7 string guitar. I'll post a video as soon as I get it.

  • @AhsanU oh what are you getting???

  • wow i wonder if he ironicly had this gutiars for this cover and so did the mv

  • NEVER A DISAPPOINTING COVER

  • amazing as always btw when are you uploading part two of you master of puppets cover Keep rockin dude you should be in a band

  • veryy good cover

  • This is great man: if Trivium needed a third guitarist, you would be the man.

  • wow!you should not be playing infront of a fucking web cam bro.much to good for that

  • i love how u dress dark for ur skulls n light for the matt guitar

  • that Amplitube Metal sounds CRAZZZYYY SONNNNN!!!!! again a perfect cover from Mr Ahsanu

the tones you can tell is digital, but imo it does sound better than the bugera and mic'ed 412 , although i love the tone of the bugera live, i dont think youtube can handle the greatness-nuss off it hahaha

    Kyrie

  • that waas fucking sick man

  • dude you're awesome

    OUTRAGEOUS cover

LIKE <<of course you will lol

  • Insane solo ^^ you start playing the solo and my eyes going bigger and bigger *_*

    ^^ Rock On man \m/,

  • Man you should've stuck with the Dimebuckers in the guitars.

  • Definitely not a fan of the Dimebucker. I used the White Gold Razorback for Matt's solos and the ending rhythm part, that's about it. The rest of the time, it was all the Skulls Razorback V.

  • @AhsanU Dimebuckers do suck.

  • @JoshOfDarkness Dimebuckers over Blackouts? I would at least get original Bill Lawrence pickups over the Dimebuckers.

  • i really love it also i like the dean pick with the nicless around your neck

  • Kickass cover as are all your other ones

    R.I.P DIO!!

  • dude u rip!

  • another awesome cover dude, love it. keep em coming,

    RIP Ronnie James Dio

  • you did a really good job. keep it up man

  • love it :D

  • best cover on youtube

  • ive been waiting to see a great cover of this for ages, and this was incredible! i love the white razorback!!

  • wow only word awesome playing if trivium ever needs a guitarist to cover they will definitely come to you...excellent playing and the solo's sounded almost exactly the same as on record 5*

  • As expected, amazing cover man :)

The solo sounded great too, perfect!

    And R.I.P Dio ...

  • "I'll wear different outfits to match my guitars" (Y)

Sic vid as per usual :)

    Great tone too =D

Btw...was this 1.5x speed again? lol

  • Don't know exactly how much faster but it's 8.117% faster done via Audacity.

  • Rockin' video A! Loving the sound you got out of the Amplitube! Do you just use a program and a standard interface? I might get it and use it for my videos from now on...it sounds killer!

Also, R.I.P RJD, a true legend has left us.

  • Yeah man, it's really simple. Here's what I did:

Plug one end of an instrument cable on to my guitar, and the other on to my PreSonus FireBox. I then open up AmpliTube Metal and Cubase. Open up a song in Cubase, and make a new track to record on, then start recording. After I'm done recording, I open the EQ for the track I just recorded on, and used the AmpliTube Metal plugin to get the right tone, otherwise, it's just a clean tone.

  • @AhsanU Sounds pretty simple! In fact it sounds just like what I do with POD Farm. I might have to have a gander at this program :D

  • R.I.P. Dio. awesome cover also

  • nice nice !

did you tune down for this one ?

  • Nah, this one's in E standard.

  • Real good cover mate - I really like this whole dual cover thing you are doing. Only complaint is that you don't put up vids often enough =P

  • Hah, thanks man. I really would love to cover more songs but I'm rarely free to sit down in front of my computer and record songs.
