(she went from very long to Rihanna style) so l went to her hairdresser and l have stuck with her since. The best thing to do is go to a hairdresser your friend has (if you like their hairstyle). Also I've noticed these hair disasters happen a lot to bobs. They can look lovely but it's worth going expensive when you want a bob AND -not only that- check with your hairdresser if they have any experience with cutting bobs. Make sure you tell them with all your passion what you really want and do not want. Be polite but do not smile much during the process of explanation, so they know you mean what you are saying. After that, try to relax, smile and trust them. Just hope for the best.

UGH. I hate bad hair cuts! }: I know how you feel. I have one right now and she totally messed it the eff up. I feel ya! My friend cut my hair was like a puffy mullet and not even a good mullet. It was chunky and uneven. I had to get it fixed and all the lady could do was cut it shorter and now I have the dips and flips that are all over and not even cute. Way too short to pull back in anyway.
Your hair is far from hideous! Why are you waiting to grow you your hair longer before you go to your guy to get it fixed up? Go now! He will be able to improve it enormously since I can see that there is a lot to work with there. Consider adding some colour too since that tends to give hair a "boost" when growing it out.

that's what gwenyths hair cut is like. but you don't have gwenyths hair and you clearly aren't styling it every day. gwenyth has an asymmetrical haircut. it's the same. it's not done by HER hairstylist so no it won't be exactly the same, because you aren't paying 600dollars for it. but that's her haircut in your hair. everyone knows this when you get a haircut, you have to factor your hair.

That was the most disturbing part. All is well now. I have never gone anywhere but my expensive hair guy now. It's all good. He doesn't EF it up.

my friend got her haircut like that..i did say anything it had the same uneven look and duck tail,i recently go my haircut and they cut my chin lentgh side bangs to regular bangs when i told the lady to trim them..ugh

it is short but it's not extremely short where it's so incredibly impossible to do anything with it. I have never ever had my hair above my shoulders because i just don't trust anyone. I trusted ONLY ONE hairdresser with my hair because she doesn't cut it more when you say "one inch" Luckily your hair probably grew out by now! It has grown out. Thank God for hair that grows. I haven't gone to get it cut since my usual hair dresses fixed her mess. I'll be going back to him soon. It's just past my shoulders now.

U should go get it recut ( at a diff place) to even it out you can still keep the style it will just be a little short which you look good with short hair. If you let it grow out its just goin to be all uneven

It's okay to laugh. You're not the only one. My sister's hairdresser, on the other side of the country, made a point to show all of his clients when they sat down in his chair. He said tears would roll. Tears of laughter, that is. I think he showed them to scare them or threaten them. Keep them loyal. When I went to my usual, expensive hair dresser to fix it he said... "Honey, sometimes free is too expensive."

I know.. right? I got my money back. Went to my usual guy and paid him double, but he fixed it. It has grown out quite a bit now. I learned my lesson. Sometimes even free can be too expensive. That's what my regular guy said when I went back. "Honey, sometimes free is too expensive."

lol I have the same haircut, the whole duck tail and stray hairs. It's been 6months and I am sooo afraid to go anywhere to get a haircut. Good Luck with your next cut.

OMG! I think I went to the same stylist that you went too. I wanted the same hair style & ended up with what you have!!! The next day, I end up cutting my own hair to fix the problem & it looks better than what the "chopper" did. Ugh!!!! At least you are not alone Caskey!

I am so sorry that happened. It is a terrible thing. You feel violated. Especially when you put yourself in the hands of someone who should know what they are doing. Hopefully your hair grows fast. If not, someone suggested prenatal vitamins to me and said that works for them. I am taking an herb called He Shou Wu. Seems to be working, but my hair grows fast regardless. Good luck with it! I had mine fixed in a short cut today and I love it.

hey, it looks nice at the front. i had my hair done today but it looks absolutely horrible i cant tie my hair up either i used to have look hair rite past my shoulders and it all gone

Hi Mckenziemad.. Traumatizing isn't it? I found a great little video on how to get short hair up. I have done it and it looks really cute. Another thing I am doing is putting those faux hair scrunchies on pig tails and that looks cute. I'll send you the link to the short hair up-do video.
