Jonathan Ke Quan was offered a cameo as well as John Rhys Davies but were taken out of script at the last second. It is thought that they would've been part of the wedding.

@EclipseFilm100 really? wow. it would have improved the movie way more if they just replaced shia with john rhys davies and jonathan ke quan as jones' sidekicks. even just having them as cameos at the wedding would atleast made the ending slightly better.

Heh, not to nitpick - but Short Round is a Chinese character - Ninjas are Japanese. And considering the bad blood between Chinese & Japanese - I doubt a Chinese boy would want to be a Ninja.
