@1990Q8 It's not quite as directional as some professional level equipment so you will hear everything amplified in one direction, though muffled through walls.

I was going to pick up one, but the recording of only 5 -15 seconds was not good for me. Were you able to connect it to your Digital recorder? If so How? Thanks
@Frogfrogsadventures You can get an audio split 'Y' connector from radio shack or elsewhere and use the headphone out to go to a DVR and the other to headphones
@silentdeedee and not locked into place, I didn't see a point in locking everything down when I was just going to put it away after a couple of minutes.

Yes, actually. The big problem is cleaning up the audio from this. It usually takes a couple HighPass Band Filters at 5000Hz to clean the audio.
