I have this and other out takes from the sessions (audio only), todd does one too that sounds so Bonnie Tyler-ish too! - Even total eclipse of the heart has Todd inspiration in it. It was an old 7" discard tape used in mastering found in a fire, I just grabbed it out of a bin, along with others- a Lou Reed session as well. Finally found someone to transfer on to CD. The guy had to master it himself as it was unmastered raw tracks. Pretty cool stuff.

It is Todd's voice for sure. Don't care for video or actor! It would have been a better video with Todd in it and both singing on stage! But, it was the MTV years?! :( He sounds like he is producing a Meatloaf song. Todd is the best!

This is a much underrated classic - one of the best love songs ever written, and Bonnie and Todd are perfect for it.

He's brill and so is bonnies voice and steinmans writing and production.

@nigeace Actually, Jim Steinman (the songwriter) produced Bat Out Of Hell 2, but Todd Rundgren did sing backups on it, and is generally all kinds of awesome.

That man is NOT Todd Rundgren. The person is a a Brtish actor named Hywell Bennet, and the voice is Tood Rundgren.
