The player beat Co-op Solo Missions on Perfect Agent. If you're playing with a human partner, it's just you two, regardless of difficulty.

The higher difficulty you beat Co-op Solo on, the more buddies you get. If you beat particular missions under a certain time, you get to pick different buddies other than Velvet.

Ugh, the opening scene pisses me off. My game always glitches and the president's voice gets muted between when Trent says, "... and will back them," and, "As you wish, sir." Not only that, but the subtitles don't even show up. It was the entire reason I searched for this video. Thanks for posting it.

If you have the Language filter option on in the Audio menu, then the game will alter the cutscenes with "naughty" words in it, too. In this case, the president said "damn". Personally, I don't think it was necessary to censor his entire quote.
