I miss this song so much too. First heard of it back in those days when Singapore still air malaysian channels in our TV. The version is sung by a guy and a lady singer. I sing along with it although I dont understand it. Change my thinking that national or patriotic songs about any country is boring. It can be beautiful if well composed and sung in the same beautiful old fashion way. Brought back many memories, love it though I'm not malaysian.
I do like this song a lot and there is an absolutely beautiful instrumental version done by gaiusyeong here on youtube well worth checking out for anyone who enjoys this song.

I was in Form 1, i think, when this beautiful patriotic song was often played on Tv1,2&3. All of a sudden, i started humming this melody in my mind early this morning, and i remember liking it. Ahh... the time when song writers & composer still understand what it means to be patriotic. The government is way too busy to write politic drama strips & election drama to do what truly beneficial thing for the country such as raising the spirit of patriotism among the citizens.

i remember being 5 or 6 and listening to this song..listening to it again brings back so much good memories...i used to (and still do) play with kids of different races and enjoy a good time but these days all people could see is race...so sad...i love malaysia and proud to be malaysian...
